  • Grace started her periods at the age of about 13 years. Her periods then came two years after. Whenever she receives her menses, its usually a hallowing experience. She bleeds non stop. At one time, she bled and bled until only water was left. here is a story of a girl who says that at times she feels like throwing away her uterus because of a condition called Menorraghia

Mimi nilifanyiwa hivo Kenyatta hospital, walitaka kuniosha eti natoa mimba. Huyo nurse aliniambia "tutakuo bila anathesia uskie uchungu vile ulikua unaua mtoto mpaka pia wewe ukufe" oh my God, i was 5 months pregnant na maji ya mtoto ilikua imetoka. I called God of heaven nikamuambia you know the truth na sijajaribu kutoa mtoto. after that prayer in my heart, immediately huyo nurse aliitwa nikahudumiwa na a korean nurse who was very friendly. To cut story short, i gave birth to my daughter mimba ikiwa not yet 6 n she survived. She is beautiful 25 years old girl and she loves God because she knows how God saved her. Ladies and even men, mjue many hospitals the devil uses nurses and doctors to make sure people die. So when you find yourself in hospital, pray for yourself and your loved one because only God saves us.

Watching carol tell her experiencees is like watching myself in a mirror and listening to myself. Am just from my doctor and av suffered all my produtive years. Av had three cs's and the pain has grown more unbearable. Am being treated for endometriosis according to my many doctors av seen. The pain is real, both physically and emotionally. I couldn't keep any job coz i had to miss work and stay in hospital.
Am thankful my mom stood by me untill now.
You will be well Carol. May God bless all the women and heal us in pain and struggling with similar conditions.❤❤❤

I can relate to this young girl's troubles with period pain. I can relate with being asked as a child to have a baby, to sort out my issues. Grace, it is not stupid to not have a child when you are not ready. It's not the solution. Keep your faith. God heals and makes whole and above all, He's grace is sufficient for you.
Surely Doctors and nurses should have better bedside manners. It's so sad that this young girl was going through so much pain and the professionals chose judgement over treating her. Even if termination was the case, that she was in the hospital means that she wanted care and that's what should have been the 1st priority case baadaye.
May God bless this mother for supporting her daughter. A mothers support means everything to a young girl going through pain. May this beautiful young girl, find healing, body soul and mind.
A girl of such great faith. May God perform a miracle for the whole family.

When I was you I used to have excess nosebleed which affected me to an extent of avoiding going to school especially in hot seasons.
In a day I would nosebleed like 10 time while even sleeping.
At some day, a distance elderly neighbor came over our home and found me in such situations..... immediate akaenda kwa shamba nad came with mikengeria and mîthûnga akapondaponda na akaniweka kwa mapua. Later she boiled some other herbal substances and gave me to drink for a week and since then I have never had any nosebleed not unless someone hit me on face.
We pray and believe that she will get help.

Carol the health couch is so insightful maybe out of her own experience she really has lots of information nutrition matters Grace is a warrior shes so strong to come out of the ordeal strong I pray she gets a permanent solution to the bleeding this seems to be a very common problem to many people especially teenagers and young adults I once was put on pills for heavy bleeding to balance the hormones but thank God the problem ended in my late 20s and a misdiagnosis for endometriosis surely the doctors can mess someone's life they will even remove your uterus when it's not the problem Kagoni can we get Dr Murage to give us a medical perspective on the same....

I remember when I was pregnant I had an urge to eat soil
When I went in for the clinic. They told me I have iron deficiency and they gave me iron tablets.
After eating that was the end of it all.
Today I know soil is not the answer but taking foods rich in minerals.
