There was actually a reference to randy Cunningham in this episode. Dewey’s voice actor played him, and Dewey threw smoke bombs, he would shout smoke bomb, which was what randy would do with all of his weapons and items

Dang I miss that serie
Bradford only has himself to blame for his cover being blown. For one he didn't have any means of stopping Bubla himself let alone the villains he summoned, being the director of FOWL he should've had the means to stamp out insubordination like he did with Steel Beak(or at least a weapon for self-defence). Second his com device wasn't something like an earpiece so only he could hear transmissions/calls from it. Lastly I think some of his agents misunderstood his line from the season two finale about "It's time for us to come out from the shadows".
Also he could have just not pretended not to have the communicator device and pretended to call for help or smthg idk
He also could have told Black Heron to not call him while he was with the Duck Triplets and Black Heron showed up with a helicopter marked with the FOWL logo instead of a normal helicopter.

@@shantilalla1014 Bradford always claimed FOWL was a business, so maybe that’s why.
Gosalyn being super smart makes sense since she was raised by her grandfather who was a super scientist himself, inheriting some of his genius wouldn't be too odd.
Also she could have meant traces as like she smelled sea salt. Or whenever she left she noticed how she smelt like sea salt ,but it does seem like she would be smart with her grandfather being a scientist.
This was such an awesome episode and it's about long time since the Season 2 Finale (which was released since October of Last Year), that the F.O.W.L storyline is revisited, along with the Triplets, Launchpad and especially Scrooge McDuck had found out that the Business Vultures (mainly Bradford) were the ones who orchestrated F.O.W.L.
Season 3 has gotten interesting, I'm actually both excited and nervous on what's to come especially during the Season 3 Finale (if Disney doesn't make us wait for another 4-5 months for the remaining Season 3 episodes).
So let's see the main villains of DuckTales each season:
Season 1: Magica De Spell
Season 2: General Lunaris
Season 3: F.O.W.L.
Season 4 (IF the series gets renewed): ????
I say Season 4's villain should be Negaduck. Disney can't just make Negaduck the Evil Morty of this show.

Magica hated Clan McDuck before Scrooge was even born
Lunaris was planning an invasion of the moon long before Scrooge or Della got the idea to travel into space.
Bulba was already a super villain for who knows how long.
In short, Bradford and FOWL's desires to stop the Duck Family and "make the world safer" feel rather wasted (if not poorly thought out)
That's what I was thinking sure they have a crazy curiosity but most of all these world conquering villain attacks are not their fault

When I was little, I thought I hallucinated the show Bonkers because no one talked about it but I low-key thought it slapped cause it was so batshit insane and this episode freaked me out cause I always KNEW it was real
10:56 Wow, that's like a reverse "I Trust You." moment from Gravity Falls.
I think this was possibly the best episode yet. It was sad to see Gosalyn destroy the Ramrod to save the Multiverse, even though it was the right thing to do, it probably hurt her heart and soul in doing it because it mean she MIGHT never see her Grandfather again. I also love how Huie, Dewey and Louie found out Bradford Buzzard and the board of Directors was evil whole they are still kids while Scrooge never found out in all of his life as their employers Also since Bradford Buzzard and the Board of Directors are exposed as evil and the Head of Fowl by the Triplets, This might be the Biggest Battle/war yet in the show. If/When Fowl is defeated once and for all, I wonder who will be the next Villain of the Show. An evil god, Negaduck, Merlock. The possibilities are endless.
I'm too young to have ever watched the original Dark Wings Duck but the thing with the song is absolute genius! In that way he was sure that the only way for someone to have the code would be so that his granddaughter would feel comfortable enough with them to sing it, he is basically trusting his granddaughter to choose a good person to have the code. This is the absolute sweetest and smartest thing

Wow you really did a great job with this analysis. And I think you might be right maybe the villains will return somehow. After all, there’s no Darkwing Duck without theses villains. I personally think that Darkwing Duck is on his of getting his own spin off. Think about it, Drake eventually adopting Gosalyn, Bulba and the DW villains coming back for revenge and NegaDuck showing up to fight Darkwing Duck. I mean the possibilities are endless. Seriously Disney if you seen this video, please take some notes on this. This is pure gold. And like DW says, Let’s get dangerous!!!!🦆🦸🏻🤜🌎❤️🤩🤯

As a massive fan of Darkwing, I thought it was a noble crossover and more like a updated version of the Darkwing Duck episode Darkly Dawns The Duck. It faired well, and should encourage Disney to reactivate Darkwing for a newer reboot to call its own.
Darkwing duck has been confirmed to get a reboot.

It's up in the air if we get a Season 4 of DuckTales, cause Disney has been awfully quiet if DuckTales Season 3 is its Last Season or if its going to get renewed, cause we haven't heard ANY news of Season 4's renewal from DuckTales 2017 with the Season 3 renewal going back to late 2018/early 2019 so Disney not announcing a Season 4 of the show seems to suggest that Season 3 might be the show's last season.
On top of that if we look at the majority of the Disney Television Animation shows lately, they tend to run for 3-4 years as shown with Gravity Falls, Wander over Yonder, Star vs., and Tangled the Series before they ended their run.

The bad guys of this season seems to be villains who wants to take adventure away from the Duck family, sounds like a final villain to me tbh
I loved how Bonkers had a small cameo when they were roll calling the villains but that's probably just something I liked lol

@@ninjaformer5889 it was one of the disney afternoon block cartoons in the early 90's. It was the result or an answer to who framed roger rabbit in t.v form without being who framed roger rabbit with similar themes mainly. Not like a direct idea to idea thing, just similar.

True, but since they think her grandfather is still alive, it would be strange for darkwing to adopt her.

The darkwing duck episode was amazing i made sure to buy it on iTunes I think everyone should to make sure it’s a tv show
Honestly, what I really like about most of the kids being smart in the show is how they're all smart in different ways. Gosalynn and arguably Louie are street-smart (using intelligence to get what they want/need) while Webby, Violet, and Huey are book-smart (researching and studying out of interest/passion and storing away said information for later use). There are different types of smart, and I like how the show was willing to demonstrate that.
Am I the only one who noticed that the villain's from Darkwing Duck are beating up on Bonkers D. Bobcat from the old show Bonkers?
I love this episode but my only complaint is that Drake didn't find out that Fenton was gizmoduck it'll probably happen in season 4 but that'd be really cool for them to like have a bro moment, and then Fenton says something on the lines of Hey dude I'm gizmoduck please don't hate me!
I'm sure that will happen at some point. They need an episode with them interacting together like in the old Darkwing Duck show. and I'm sure it will be even better since it seems that Drake and Fenton are friends.
The chances for a season 4 is lower than them finding out each other's identities. There's rumors going out that Ducktales is ending due to 'poor ratings'.

Very good analysis, and well, of course Gos is a genius; she was raised by a genius scientist grandpa, so at the very least she's very good at making plans, designing stuff and researching.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the plot was just Into the Spiderverse (Device that pulls stuff in from other dimensions, heroes have to stop it before it ends the world)
The whole "lot of genius kids" thing can be explained. Webby was raised by a literal spy that works for a guy who has seen all kinds of weird, often magical, things and Gosalyn is the granddaughter of a superscientist. Who's to say she didn't learn a thing or two from him?
Huey can also be explained as being a nerd with access to all kinds of weird knowledge.

ok i have to point out that i think gosalyn is humming the first line of what drake sang in the og show "rest your head little girl blue" instead of gosalyn's first line in the song "close your eyes little girl blue"

One thing I am sad about about the season is is that they didn’t do more with Owlson. I feel like her character had a lot of potential but they didn’t really do much with her. I thought this season she was going to try and become the richest person in the world like she said she was going to do at the end of season 2 but instead they just made her the mayor and didn’t do anything with her which was kind of sad
I really thought if someone was going to betray F.O.W.L it would be Gandra Dee(Gandra and Fentin Forever). I really liked Taurus Bulba being voiced by the same person who plays Lance in tangled the series. I love Louie in this episode, his answers to questions, saying he wants infinite gold and Heuie ruining it, and saying he has tried to pick the lock of the bin is hilarious. I loved seeing Owlson back, I wondered what happened to her. I really liked Gosayln and the scene with "I am the terror that flaps in the night, I am the beet you find in your salad, I am...hey not done yet get back here." and" I was saving your llife!". It's earthier most of the kids are really smart or mostly everyone else is really dumb. I liked the way they found out about F.O.W.L but they could have done it a little better although I did like the marked unmarked helicopter part. What he said with the advenchers causing trouble it is like Stains ideology in My hero academia, he's not right but he's not wrong, also Bradford should have used a different example than the moonvashion when saying what their advenchers bring because as we learned Lunariuse planed that way before so that one wasn't their fault. I think the reboots are to draw in younger audiences and the live action remakes is because of fixing some mistakes and making princesses more independent(ones like sleeping beauty and snow white) and they know we mostly watched Disney films as kids.
Edit: they also did a better job with the motorcycle because in the original it was red here it's purple which is better. And you didn't mention that the shirt Gosalyn wears in the photo is the same shirt she wears in the original.
Wait..you had to RESEARCH the references in the episode? Am I that big of a DW nerd? I caught them all. I'm just sad we didn't get Bulba's assistant Clovis. And when they brought up Justice Ducks, I was dying for an appearance by the Dark Warrior Duck. I just really hope this is the opening for a new DW stand alone series. The story can cross over to both series, considering that Scrooge's administrative board are apparently members of FOWL.

I’m guessing to not get random alternate universe versions of her Grandfather. Searching for the right one would probably be easier than having to get thousands of her grandfather just to have to put them all back.
