I do not own the rights to any of the music used in this video
I was waiting for him to turn it up the entire video lol
Wonder how well the isobaric setup worked vs the single 15”, I’ve often wondered why we don’t see more isobaric push pull setups!
I like to think iso is better for sq.....but it looks like they tryed setting it up for spl
Isobaric is a old school trick to getting more airflow when amps and subs didn’t make and handle as much power as they do today. I’m not surprised to hear ppl say they haven’t heard of it or know what it’s called.
🔴 What does he do about the water leaks whenever it rains❓
So a iso-6th order series......think the cu.ft. are a lil off on both sides...for zvx or lvl3s....
Your very much right.
Late on this but im a solo 15 man to. Need do this jacob..your 10 is beast too. But a 15 or single 18.. boom boom boom..
Would it be considered a blowthrough if it didn't require any cutting or modifications to get the sound from the bed to the inside of the cab ?
If it's coming from behind the seats then I would consider it a blowthrough yes. Long as it's coming from outside the vehicle basically.
@@JacobViral 👍🏽 Gotcha
The speakers he had was called clam Shell isobaric. You can tell he doesn’t know what he’s doing this is why the other ones tore up. It is a great way to use speakers very efficiently with low air.
Don't think the video does it justice lol, but keep up the work Jacob
It didn't plus the back chamber was too big for one sub as he built it for two but glad to share eitherway.
Couldn’t he have done it differently to maximize his lows? Question: what was that last song played?
Yes. A whole lot.
So its a compound loading 4th? Well thats something. IDK if there's any benefit in this type of setup, but it's certainly unique.
Whats louder ? 2 12 lv5 or one lv6 dc audio subwoofer
Normally more sq.in. of cone the better
...but it depends what ur looking for,sq,spl...or jus a daily with good range....then theres ur box
The box I'd like to tune it around 28hz for either subs' the reason im asking is cuz im getting rid of my orion hccca 12 and i want to get dc lvl 6 18 or 2 lvl 5 12 so i just wanted to know which would sound good in a 28hz box 'this going in a hondai elantra
It was a good attempt! There are some adjustments he can make to get a lot more out of that, but a good concept though.
I have no idea but aren't the rear ports too small obviously the box is too big someone educate me
Looks like a 6th order 1 to 3. Very complicated box/tuning. Those two little holes are not technically ports (they are blow through to create push/pull reaction). The giant one in the front is and there are also ports in in the back (not visible). I'm sure people here can educate you more regarding this box and if it's actually worth all the effort. In theory it should maximize low notes and high notes but only if tuning is done perfectly. Fairly certain regular ported box with so many cubes would be just as loud. I do like 4th order boxes though. 6th order is just too much.
@@vlad1889 to do a 6th correctly you need experience. Even 4ths are not easy. But yes you want easy bass a big low tuned ported will work just as good. But I'll take a 4th order any day. Lows like a mfr. And if done right a very broad range. Our last blow through played from 11hz to 55hz and played pretty flat across the board. Peaked at 36hz. Box was a 3:1 4 sealed 12 ported tuned to 55. For 4 12s.
A lot depends on the length of said tube, it's about total area more than diameter
"isobaric loaded sixth"
Isobaric 6th order!!
Isobaric 6th order setup? interesting, too bad it blew out

Sweet!!👊🏾💪🏾🔊
Isobaric push pull
A cone to magnet I've been waiting to try that
I believe this guy was saying cone to cone. He also referenced a 4 to 12 cube for that sub. A little big for a single 15.
Great video bro keep up the great work
Thanks Mike
I believe the box is too big for one sub
yes im first to watch
Wow that amazing dude congratulations.
