Answer: in short, you can wire your wheel to your stereo in fact it will hook into behind your monitor in order to control it. Recommendation , upgrade the monitor(stereo) like you want to. Be sure to chose one that will already have wires to hook up to your new steering wheel. or look for a retrofit/aftermarket adapter or kit that will adapt it to your current stereo.
I really like blow-through enclosures. Always wanted to do one, but just couldn't bring myself to cut up the truck. I've got two SDR-10d4 on a RP800.1d in a hatchback and it drops quad bro. I was blown away how loud for two cheap 10's
I was in the same situation. . I had the box for about year before I decided to install it . It is extremely heavy . Skar audio makes good stuff i will be downsizing - two 8” .
@@jit9925 i say go for it bro it is definitely worth it just please buy the accordion seal first and please have a fiberglass tonneau cover as well and then build u a solid box and also don't forget to get a 2x4 in-between the bed and cab and reinforce that area well also drill and bolt sub box to bed and add bolts with lock washers and lock nuts and you will be fine also post a build on here too GL bro
With the AC Epicenter installed, it surpasses the Skar amp's bass knob. It should not even be installed. All it is doing is adjusting the amp's gains remotely. The Epicenter is also a line driver sending increased RCA voltage from the head unit. You simple adjust the amp's gains to clipping, or the onset of distortion, and leave its. No bass boost. No bass knob. The Epicenter is also a "bass restoration" unit. A lot of 80's rock music and Latino/Hispanic music lack low bass from around 60hz and below. The Epicenter's circuitry and main functions are to enhance the loss of bass. Please remember, tuning is everything. You have the best gear there is but if it is not set up correctly, even the most budget gear will beat it out in overall sound quality when it's tuned perfectly. Some one said the box should be bigger. That's hard to tell honestly. I'm sure who ever built that enclosure had the right plans to build it to what he 12's needed. It's a nice box and it would be a shame if it was built blindly without direction from Skar or a program.
Thanks for the feedback 💯. I definitely need to take it in to the audio shop to get it tuned .I ended up going this route due to me having the box already. As for the epicenter I do listen to a lot of Mexican music . I’ll have to do an update video once its cleaned up n dialed in .
Clean ass truck bro what muffler u running and what year did I get the cluster out of also was it plug and play or did u have to tie into some wires u should make a vid of it thanks
Thanks bro . I have other videos on everything . I purchased cluster from white automotive & media new & programmed to my vin . Plug n play . You can buy one of eBay it’ll work plug-in-play, but will get a bunch of fail alerts. You will need a steering wheel with button controls on right side and just pick tail one wire to control the cluster. Keep in mind my truck was an LS work truck. If you have an LT trim, you’ll be fine it’ll work.
I'm all about keeping it as Factory as you can man but you got a damn one foot square hole cut in the cab and an eight cubic foot box in the bed. How stock is that? Nice build I wish you knew little bit more about it though so apparently you did do it
Great setup, very clean. Is your bed cover soft or is it metal? I'm wondering if it rattles from the outside of the truck. I'm currently looking for a good bed cover for my Silverado 2500.
Yeah I was gonna say if he’s limited in his cutting space, that port is too small for 4 12’s in a 4th order bandpass or whatever box he has. You need to start at 90% cone area and shrink until it sounds good from my experience, and yes I’ve seen 4th and 6th orders with giant ports that performed optimally
Hey man did you ever find out the specs on the box? Could I get some outside dimensions? I'm wanting to do 2 10s in a box similar design Clean truck man
@@97gmc97 No worries bro 💯good luck with your blow trough . I took mine off it’s too heavy. If u need pictures follow me on Instagram. Gabestang. I can send them over

nice sound system looks like it hits hard and the vocals sound clean. ! bad ass truck all around.
Gracias! Bro . 💯. For sure it sounds better in person . 🔥

Sick blow through
Maybe i will have to look up some diagrams i like the factory screen . Ill have to pin them and get the volume controls working 💯
🔴 When it comes out this clean looking, whats there to argue about cutting a hole❗️

No because u can still have ur epicenter up and have bass knob low.
the truck is sweet man.

Bro nice setup props say them gauges where did you get them made thanks in advance
Thanks man. Its an OEM cluster similar to the Denali cluster. Just have to get it reprogrammed to your vin to work properly .

Ide like to see the inside of your box to see the way it’s designed I’m looking for ideas for a box the same 4 subs
Its a 6th order design . Recommend 2 x12” or 4(8”) 4 (12”)is too much in my opinion .
What is your exhaust set up bro? Really like the sound system btw
I built a blow threw box for my 2 skar 12in subs.I inverted my subs was this rt or wrong?
Yeah, that box is small for 4 12inch. Probably really bang if it was only in there. But each it's owe. 👍🏾😎
Do the stinger height 10 inch fits oem
Nice setup

Where did get that cluster from I like it
Its a OEM Denali cluster . Here is a link with more details

WHERE TF DID YOU GET THOSE WHEELS DAWG
I’m thinking about doing a blow through but I just remember about the pump how would you change it if it went out and you have a blow thru.
Uhm, you drop the fuel tank...
Great work very knowledgeable clean 👍
Hey boss… how much does a blowthu cost? And is it worth doing a blowthru? Like no dust or water goes into the cabin while driving?
It all depends on the equipment and set up. I would say ball park $1,500- $3,000 simple basic set up
Why does your gauge cluster look different from my 16?
I swapped it out for a denali cluster . It was also reprogrammed .
Not trying to hate bro but that box is choking those 12s way too small for them. Still sounds great!
Thanks , The original box had a big port 1’x4’ into the cab. I didn’t want to cut too much. The next set up will be two 8” subs reduce some weight .
@@gabestang I think you should keep the 12s just do a box for 2 of them instead of 4💪🏾
@@daneirowashington7444 Thanks for the feedback man , I’m actually gonna down size - 2 x 8” subs and smaller box . Im trying to reduce weight .

What exhaust is that??
3” Catless / 18” oval magnaflow muffler +headers
How much did this cost bro ? Thinking of doing that but I have no idea on how much it going to cost
In my case I spent like $2k . It all depends on the equipment you go with and the shop that installs it .
2k ? Including the box in the back
Bad ass truck, Badass system,Kool Basshead=Subscribe,Niiiiccceeeee!!

Nice truck nice set up but please please fix that hyper flash…. The easiest fix 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

More power at 2ohms vs 4 ohms and it's less efficient @2ohms
