Hearst rises to his feet to assert dominance. Al remains seated to reconfirm his.

That’s not what I felt. Hearst rising first, played his card too early. Al rising last meant he had the last say, plus walking away meant he won that exchange with Hearst speechless

Violated one of Al’s firm principles that he will go to war over. You can’t kill people in The Gem without Al’s full approval

    - You ain't the center of the universe in another words?
    - Exactly
    - Dont that lead you to despair?
The dialogue is so... genious, detailed, full of nuances.. beautiful and yet profane.... David Milch is the modern day Shakespeare.

Ian McShane is in the top 3 underrated actors of all times. Deadwood is a masterpiece painting wrapped in a profanity laced mud hole filled with whiskey.

It's my opinion that NYPD Blue was the finest cop show ever, and one of the greatest dramas ever made.
So this show is a no brainers, and never disappoints.
There aren't many who can write characters that you can both love and hate in secession or oddly at the same time. Mixing the profane, foolish, innocent, stupid, greedy, vulnerable, and desperate into every episode, in every scene, and sometimes in each person...
    Simply amazing.

Al tells the egg-hatched individual, holding the antlers to "ready for blood"
That's almost the same line he says in John wick 3 "prepare for war" parabelum
