It's my opinion that NYPD Blue was the finest cop show ever, and one of the greatest dramas ever made. So this show is a no brainers, and never disappoints. There aren't many who can write characters that you can both love and hate in secession or oddly at the same time. Mixing the profane, foolish,innocent, stupid, greedy, vulnerable, and desperate into every episode, in every scene, and sometimes in each person... Simply amazing.
Interesting how Hearst is initially presented as a polished gentleman but as the story moves forward his true sociopathic nature is slowly revealed.. Deadwood is genius
