    I feel like I could have made this video. I can relate to this a lot man. I photograph social issues and the american condition as a photojournalist while also doing portraits and weddings. 2020 has killed me so far but I am not giving up. Keep going man and do what you love because it beats a 9-5.

      2020 was tough and this year will hopefully get better come summer with more vaccinations. So right that this beats a 9-5, Once a week it hits me how crazy it is to live this self employed life and hard to imagine going back to "strict" working hours. Good luck this next year!

    Nice video Paul! I’m also a sports photographer in Montreal, Canada and I can relate to how you feel about being freelance. Not knowing what is coming up this year is not what I am used to as my business is mostly the same clients calling me up year after year for youth sports or College sports.
    Question, why don’t you use Quickbooks to invoice your clients?

    • @Paul_Rutherford
      @Paul_Rutherford  3 года назад

      Thanks James! Honestly I made my own before I started using quickbooks, and then never thought about it. But I will definitely look into now! I still don't want clients to pay online so I can save the few percent in fees.

    • @jameshajjar
      @jameshajjar 3 года назад +1

      @@Paul_Rutherford I actually invoice them with Quickbooks but don't take the payments online. They either make a direct deposit to my account or they send me a check.
