Her 2005 leading role in "Memoirs of A Geisha" was stunning. The movie itself is a classic with so many incredible Asian actors like Gong Li, Ken Watanabe and Michelle Yeoh giving memorable performances. John Williams did the score, cinematography was pure art, and the story takes me to a different, hidden and mysterious world.
Zhang ziyi would've been perfect for Mulan especially now despite her age here in this scene she's crazy ,but badass as well also I could see her playing Kitna in the new mortal kombat remake ,but missed opportunities.
A interesting fact about her is she never studied martial arts. She studied dance, many styles, and used it to do all her martial arts fights, obviously rehearsed with choreographer. Learning this after Crouching Tiger, it was hard to believe.
at 3:28 was that a body double? If you pause it shes not wearing heels and has a slightly bigger frame? Also you missed the part she kicks Lee before inserting the bomb in his mouth.
