Fuck it, I'm buying one of these. Right now. I have to order it out of Russia so it will take a while but I can wait.

Miałem taki, kupiony w komisie za 1000 zł (koloru szarego) latem 1972 roku. Straszna tandeta - stale się zacinał i belkował.

I tried to find it today to scan but it looks like I've misplaced it. It if turns out I will scan and post a link here.

@@vzaliva Great! I'd appreciate that. I have a partial copy from an online calculator collecting site. (I just sent a model M off to my son in Oregon as a Christmas present and deposited another earlier model on my other son's porch for Christmas. Gave them both copies of the manual I have, plus a manual for the Odhner ;-) )
. . . Stay safe and stay healthy!

The zeroing device for the input couldn't be any simpler; it's just a spring loaded bar with notches for the levers to pass through.

Did you ever end up scanning the manual? I would love to make further instructional videos for the more advanced calculations you mentioned.

@@jphili typewriterbook.ru/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Arifmometr-Felix-instruktsiya.pdf is the scan I found. I have another manual, actually, a book, which I am also going to scan.

Google for the "TOEPLER-method" to find out how it is done.
