  • The original Sound Factory on 27th Street NYC in October 1992.
    DJ Junior Vasquez
Knowing there's very limited footage from the era, thought of sharing what I have.. The video quality is bad and dark, but this was pretty much how it looked inside and Junior's music is Ovah.

Lovely to See Girlina, Onyx, Asif & Andre doing their thing!
I remember our weekly Sunday morning walks of shame from Sound Factory in 1992.
My friend Michelle and I lived a couple of blocks from each other in Soho, so our group would dwindle down from 12 people to just the two of us.
The families with their kids going to church at 11am looked at us in complete horror as we walked down the street all sweaty in our outlandish outfits.
    Lol- those were the days!

Such an amazing place with amazing people. Im straight and have been everywhere clubbing, nowhere has ever matched the Factory 92-95. The most friendly up for it crowd. Even on the nights Junior was not in the best of moods. Most mémorable moment the night the first time Junior dropped Kristine W " feel what you want" . Sorry for rambling had a couple of beers.

There used to be footage from a Japanese documentary on here but sadly it's disappeared. All there seems to be at the moment is a brief video of Louie Vega and the staff preparing for Underground Network ruclips.net/video/SeWGT2sSfLY/видео.html

Does anyone have a track ID for 8:30 in. "Pump the bass and jack your body and show em you can move." It sounds like Colonel Abrams but can't find it anywhere. @rjjny

Wish I could help, I've been trying to find it as well - kind of sounds like the ID should be obvious, but can't remember it and haven't had any luck searching based on the lyrics
