I always find it amazing when someone can take an unusual media and bend it to their will. Like that backrooms video before this one, (which is a lovely parody of the 100 days concept) the way it starts so regularly, but then the feelings of terror slowly set in. The Garfilled in the mine in the real server 2, then seeing you stand the dog, the realization sets in entirely. Then the burying of that server, only to be thrown back into something worse- gives me chills and thrills. Bravo, my feline friend. Keep up the good work.
I am finding an endless amount of humor out of a RUclips channel about psychological horror in Minecraft being called "Garfilled" really hope this becomes a full blown series cause this... You've got an entirely new kind of unique that needs to be nurtured.
This channel is so underrated. Ever since I was 5 years old I was always fascinated about creepy stuff in non-horror games (Minecraft, GMod etc), so I really enjoy these videos, it also gives me ARG vibes for some reason. Keep up the good work bro.
Theory: We don't have much to go off of but we can tell part of what's happening here. As we can see in the backrooms video, it feels as he never left, ominous vibes and we have some proof as to why. 1. The thumbnail has the same shadowy figure, except this time with red eyes and a smile. 2. The backrooms has city like levels for example level 11 this could all just be another level that he managed to find in the endless backrooms. 3. There are signs everywhere saying "garfilled was here" which leads me to believe after looping through levels forever (like level 3 in his backrooms video) he started making signs saying that he was there but he doesn't seem to remember, he goes insane and starts placing signs everywhere and being someone that watches backrooms videos, going insane is common, maybe it's all in his head. Some unsolved questions that I don't really know how to answer yet is how did he find more levels? What did he do that is his fault and what the hell is that garfilled clone doing in the creepy area, maybe getting revenge for what garfilled did? I don't know. So basically there is a chance he is stuck in the backrooms getting karma for what he did, we just don't know what. (I don't have Twitter so if he said something about the lore or if there is none please tell me) (I am actually curious so if you have anything to tell me that could either debunk some stuff that I said or some more information you found please tell me, thanks)
If you see the manhunt in back rooms and then one of the graves in this video a grave says Debunky who later dies in the manhunt video which brings a lot more theories to the table.

Honestly I think the large amount of signs with “Garfield was here” signifys how many dead servers hes nostalgic with and played, the slow realization of just how many places you loved to be in only for them to no longer be active hurts, a piece of us never really leaves them, especially due to the nostalgia of them

I love exploring old Minecraft servers, abandoned or not, its just interesting to explore places that have been built many years ago, some servers have buildings that are 10-11 years old and are from the early Alpha/Beta versions of Minecraft. Its just nostalgic to see these old things built by players many years ago and imagining how much fun these people probably had when building them. Its almost like looking at nostalgic old photos/videos. Minecraft servers can become almost like historical documents of what players created over the years.
Man it’s insane how genius your videos are, these psychological horror style videos you’re making are so entertaining. I can’t wait to see the next one!

honestly your videos are incredible. the horror elements of this was just as incredible as last time, with a clear understanding of the human reaction and the psychological ways to play with the engine of minecraft. i will say some of the horror elements felt a little too dragged on, like the paper and the glitching effects, and the hallway scene felt less intense because the viewer had a lot of time to digest it and made it feel less creepy (which i think you nailed in your last vid). either way amazing stuff
I actually love that mine hallway scene! It reminds of one of the local movies I watched as a kid. It's not horror but a dramatic movie. Apparently a ghostly apparition appeared on one of the scenes. In the end of the movie, they played the scene where the ghost showed up again with no context, then again, zooming into the ghost. No sound, no anything. It left us to process what's happening in the silence of our own minds which is so freaky
Yooooo, glad to see another video dude! The first one was a real banger, glad to see it wasn't just a one-and-done! Old, abandoned servers are always so unique and interesting, there's no two alike unless they were literally copied. Each one has its own story to tell, forgotten memories of those who used to own them on display for anyone who goes looking. As someone who's abandoned at least a few servers after friendships fell through, it's nice to see someone take that idea and turn it into something truly creepy. (Also, I am not proud of myself for getting jumpscared by a Minecraft avatar of Garfield...)

As someone who is currently playing through an smp with close friends, seeing all those worlds and imagining all the good memories that must have come with it hit me right in the feels. Yesterday we took a trek back to our original spawn, and it was feeling insanely nostalgic, so me watching this the literal day after just brought all those emotions back. This is fantastically well done and I can't wait to see what you make next! Keep up the awesome work!
What i think happend: Garfilled was a real person, and thats why he had a house in server 2 and the signs say Garfilled WAS here. But then, he died in some sort of accident, as on the graves it says "gartilled is here" which explains the "its all your fault its all your fault". He then visits abandoned servers, but as a ghost dosent remeber his past, which is why he dosent understand why he had a house in server 2. The clone of Garfilled which i presume is a sort of grim reaper ready to send him to heaven/ paradise/ whatever he goes to in the end. However, The soul of Garfilled understands who this clone is, as in the VERY last vrame wheee he is in server one, wierd text says "g...... has joined the game" The G i presume is the clone, and as garfilled see this, he immediately leaves the server. Also, this MAY be connected to his new video, where by going into the backrooms he kills 3 of his friends and later maybe dies mysteriously? This would explain the "its all your fault" as i previously mentioned becuase in some graves it says daytra is here, who is garfilled's friend. This was stupid and badly done, this is bamburfix, signing off.
Not only is it all visually terrifying, the story is clearly super thought out ! The execution is truly amazing and the work put into this is seen so clearly with how beautifully it all goes together, i miss minecraft in the good old days when there was tons of horror, and this brings it up, but just so much better, i never thought I’d get to see more horror minecraft content, especially now, I’ve always found the simplicity of minecraft to be good for horror making, like with PS2 type styled horror games that are getting really popular now, so wow did this intrigue me :)

Funny things i found while watching the video: 3:15 for a brief moment in the chat you can see the message ‘Garfilled joined the game’ 4:08 The person at the end of the tunnel is Garfilled himself 4:18 Normally when you try to interact with a dog that isn’t yours, it will start attacking you but in this case the dog doesn’t and instead of being hostile it works just as if Garfilled was the original owner of the dog 4:48 Most people saw this but the name of the paper is ‘we miss you garfilled’ 5:05 it says SERVER 2 instead of SERVER 3 and in the section of the video it appears as ‘Server 2?’ Notice the question mark? Because i sure did 5:24 The name of the Dark Oak Planks is changed and it says ‘its all your fault’ you might have missed it 5:29 The name of the Diamond Sword is changed and it says ‘garfilled was here’ and he just immediately clicks out of the chest 5:39 he does point this out, in multiple places it says ‘garfilled was here’ its basically saying that he was already there And there are probably a lot more but I’m too tired to point them out! 😅
Awesome man, this is the quality content i subscribbed for, my only gripe is that you should upload more then once per year. The backrooms/surreal horror/liminial space stuff is just as creepy as always.
On the real though, liminal spaces are scary. You don't even have to have any activity from human beings while playing Minecraft for it to feel liminal at certain points.
I used to play a lot on a server called msc, it was a city roleplay server with quite some people on it, after I heard it was being shut down and a world map was being released, I of course downloaded it too keep a piece of memory. It’s so unsettling and sad being in a world completely alone knowing it used to be a place where a lot of people could share their creativity and just goof around.
Theory for the second server - Garfilled was in that server a very long time ago he just suddenly stopped playing on that server. After a while someone put those signs in his "base" then he finds that server possibly relating to a traumatic event in his life,
a few easter eggs: in server 1 the name that joined during the last second was actually garfilled during the dsmp tags joke, the last tag he writes "garfilled was he" which im guessing means "garfilled was here" in server 3 (2? i dont really know) theres a stack of spruce planks in the left chest by the fountain named "its all your fault" in the other chest there's also a sword named "garfilled was here"
A few things I noticed: 1: Someone joined right at the end of the server 1 part 2: Theres an item in the chest in “Server 2(?)” that says “it’s all your fault” 3: The sword in the second chest says “Garfilled was here” 4: One of the signs at the end is on the a backrooms wall
v all the things i noticed and theories ive come up with from this video v nearing the end of server 1 chapter, you can see that somebody with the user name Gyardevil(?) or Garfilled joins the game. pretty neat. im also quite sure that its the same thing at the end of the mines corridor. im also thinking that "server 2" was just an old world with garfilled and his friends, especially saying that he "hasnt played with anyone on an smp in a while," and another weird theory being that he was watching himself in the corridor. he mightve also built the "im so fucking alone :(" sign when climbing the stairs. and within the "server 2?" chapter, the diamond sword is named "garfilled was here." he also mentions that he didnt take anything since it "felt wrong." i have a theory being that garfilled here in this video, is in a comatose state (maybe,) and his subconscious is lonely and or bored. following this diamond sword event, he finds a series of signs with the same repeating statement "garfilled was here." he then gets teleported to an abandoned hospital or mental facility in server redacted. this brings up a new statement being that he might just be going insane (lol.) another situation further proves this insanity theory. he finds graves, this now perhaps being a cemetery rather than the mental facility atmosphere i thought he was in. we see signs on tombstones, declaring different names with the follow "was here" phrase, such as "Debunky was here." the main aspect being that he finds another sign with "garfilled was here." him being seemingly terrified, he backs up into many signs declaring that "its all your fault." this might be saying that he somehow killed all these people, and is regretting or again, might be having an episode resulting from his insanity. after this he gets creeped up on his own garfilled avatar. again being teleported to an area with no buildings, paths, or any of the sort. kind of like a flatland desert. theres a single sign saying "garfilled i̲s̲ here," rather than the past-tense, was. we then see a quick collage of the signs with the phrase "garfilled was here." after this, we see a (maybe depressed) garfilled, staring deeply into the sign. one last theory being that garfilled, is in fact, dead. he's reminiscing about everything thats happened, and maybe he died in a group of people (explaining why the "its all your fault" signs were repeating, filled with guilt) that deeply cared for him, thus proving that the server 2 server was their smp. this is all i could think of, you can perhaps look up the lyrics to the song that plays, it might have some correlation to the video itself. i deadass wrote a whole documentary for a video lol. to whoever is reading this, hope youre doing well. and to those who read this to the end, what do you think? please, reply to this comment to share your thoughts. to all, good night.

honestly your videos are incredible. the horror elements of this was just as incredible as last time, with a clear understanding of the human reaction and the psychological ways to play with the engine of minecraft. i will say some of the horror elements felt a little too dragged on, like the paper and the glitching effects, and the hallway scene felt less intense because the viewer had a lot of time to digest it and made it feel less creepy (which i think you nailed in your last vid). either way amazing stuff
I actually love that mine hallway scene! It reminds of one of the local movies I watched as a kid. It's not horror but a dramatic movie. Apparently a ghostly apparition appeared on one of the scenes. In the end of the movie, they played the scene where the ghost showed up again with no context, then again, zooming into the ghost. No sound, no anything. It left us to process what's happening in the silence of our own minds which is so freaky
I hate when people go to random old servers and disrupt the beauty with "x was here" signs and this captures that plague so well
Yooooo, glad to see another video dude! The first one was a real banger, glad to see it wasn't just a one-and-done! Old, abandoned servers are always so unique and interesting, there's no two alike unless they were literally copied. Each one has its own story to tell, forgotten memories of those who used to own them on display for anyone who goes looking. As someone who's abandoned at least a few servers after friendships fell through, it's nice to see someone take that idea and turn it into something truly creepy.
(Also, I am not proud of myself for getting jumpscared by a Minecraft avatar of Garfield...)

But now it is even creepier, knowing that everything is linked, but distorted
Wow this was really good. As someone who is currently playing through an smp with close friends, seeing all those worlds and imagining all the good memories that must have come with it hit me right in the feels. Yesterday we took a trek back to our original spawn, and it was feeling insanely nostalgic, so me watching this the literal day after just brought all those emotions back. This is fantastically well done and I can't wait to see what you make next! Keep up the awesome work!
What i think happend:
Garfilled was a real person, and thats why he had a house in server 2 and the signs say Garfilled WAS here.
But then, he died in some sort of accident, as on the graves it says "gartilled is here" which explains the "its all your fault its all your fault".
He then visits abandoned servers, but as a ghost dosent remeber his past, which is why he dosent understand why he had a house in server 2.
The clone of Garfilled which i presume is a sort of grim reaper ready to send him to heaven/ paradise/ whatever he goes to in the end.
However, The soul of Garfilled understands who this clone is, as in the VERY last vrame wheee he is in server one, wierd text says "g...... has joined the game"
The G i presume is the clone, and as garfilled see this, he immediately leaves the server.
Also, this MAY be connected to his new video, where by going into the backrooms he kills 3 of his friends and later maybe dies mysteriously?
This would explain the "its all your fault" as i previously mentioned becuase in some graves it says daytra is here, who is garfilled's friend.

Not only is it all visually terrifying, the story is clearly super thought out ! The execution is truly amazing and the work put into this is seen so clearly with how beautifully it all goes together, i miss minecraft in the good old days when there was tons of horror, and this brings it up, but just so much better, i never thought I’d get to see more horror minecraft content, especially now, I’ve always found the simplicity of minecraft to be good for horror making, like with PS2 type styled horror games that are getting really popular now, so wow did this intrigue me :)

4:18 Normally when you try to interact with a dog that isn’t yours, it will start attacking you but in this case the dog doesn’t and instead of being hostile it works just as if Garfilled was the original owner of the dog
4:48 Most people saw this but the name of the paper is ‘we miss you garfilled’
5:05 it says SERVER 2 instead of SERVER 3 and in the section of the video it appears as ‘Server 2?’ Notice the question mark? Because i sure did

On the real though, liminal spaces are scary. You don't even have to have any activity from human beings while playing Minecraft for it to feel liminal at certain points.

I used to play a lot on a server called msc, it was a city roleplay server with quite some people on it, after I heard it was being shut down and a world map was being released, I of course downloaded it too keep a piece of memory.
It’s so unsettling and sad being in a world completely alone knowing it used to be a place where a lot of people could share their creativity and just goof around.

Theory for the second server - Garfilled was in that server a very long time ago he just suddenly stopped playing on that server. After a while someone put those signs in his "base" then he finds that server possibly relating to a traumatic event in his life,

during the dsmp tags joke, the last tag he writes "garfilled was he" which im guessing means "garfilled was here"
in server 3 (2? i dont really know) theres a stack of spruce planks in the left chest by the fountain named "its all your fault"
in the other chest there's also a sword named "garfilled was here"

A few things I noticed: 1: Someone joined right at the end of the server 1 part
2: Theres an item in the chest in “Server 2(?)” that says “it’s all your fault”

v all the things i noticed and theories ive come up with from this video v
nearing the end of server 1 chapter, you can see that somebody with the user name Gyardevil(?) or Garfilled joins the game. pretty neat. im also quite sure that its the same thing at the end of the mines corridor. im also thinking that "server 2" was just an old world with garfilled and his friends, especially saying that he "hasnt played with anyone on an smp in a while," and another weird theory being that he was watching himself in the corridor. he mightve also built the "im so fucking alone :(" sign when climbing the stairs. and within the "server 2?" chapter, the diamond sword is named "garfilled was here." he also mentions that he didnt take anything since it "felt wrong." i have a theory being that garfilled here in this video, is in a comatose state (maybe,) and his subconscious is lonely and or bored. following this diamond sword event, he finds a series of signs with the same repeating statement "garfilled was here." he then gets teleported to an abandoned hospital or mental facility in server redacted. this brings up a new statement being that he might just be going insane (lol.) another situation further proves this insanity theory. he finds graves, this now perhaps being a cemetery rather than the mental facility atmosphere i thought he was in. we see signs on tombstones, declaring different names with the follow "was here" phrase, such as "Debunky was here." the main aspect being that he finds another sign with "garfilled was here." him being seemingly terrified, he backs up into many signs declaring that "its all your fault." this might be saying that he somehow killed all these people, and is regretting or again, might be having an episode resulting from his insanity. after this he gets creeped up on his own garfilled avatar. again being teleported to an area with no buildings, paths, or any of the sort. kind of like a flatland desert. theres a single sign saying "garfilled i̲s̲ here," rather than the past-tense, was. we then see a quick collage of the signs with the phrase "garfilled was here." after this, we see a (maybe depressed) garfilled, staring deeply into the sign. one last theory being that garfilled, is in fact, dead. he's reminiscing about everything thats happened, and maybe he died in a group of people (explaining why the "its all your fault" signs were repeating, filled with guilt) that deeply cared for him, thus proving that the server 2 server was their smp.
this is all i could think of, you can perhaps look up the lyrics to the song that plays, it might have some correlation to the video itself. i deadass wrote a whole documentary for a video lol. to whoever is reading this, hope youre doing well.
