I just found out about them few weeks ago, and I was amazed how far it went. They have amazing sound all round, also look great, but hasn't even discovered themselves yet. I wonder what is their future, hopefully all this insane success won't burn them out much too soon.

There seems to be a problem with this video. Set the playback speed to 1.05 (custom speed), and it will look and sound much more natural. Otherwise it looks as if they are playing half-asleep, which I am sure was not the case.

That's exactly what the band have said! Joshua has said they have written a quite a number of intentionally dumb songs just for mucking around and Rhian has said the lyrics for Chaise Longue were written in the mind set of two giggly 13 year old girls on a sleep over.
All their songs are. It's stupid derivitive teen pop. But it's fun.
@@Teeveepicksures Its true that Wet Leg refer to some of their tracks as their 'dumb' songs and its also true that they created the band simply in order to have fun and not take themselves seriously - hence the silly name.

I think if they were playing this song to 15 people in the back room of a pub in Sandown, IoW, they would be sick of it. However they are being paid sh!t loads of money to fly around the World in private jets to play to adoring crowds at famous festivals. Hence not sick of it.
