What I love about these two in their interviews is that they always seem like they have a quiet joke only the two of them understand throughout all their chin wags. That is one way to deal with answering the same dumb questions. Very endearing and projects a little mysteriousness which is so hard to achieve in music today with the 24/7 365 press world. This will go a long way keeping WL in the landscape for a career.
And that "in joke" thing just comes across as rude and they are taking the piss out of the interviewer.
And I guarantee you this band will disappear soon enough - a one hit wonder blueprint.

@@Razormiller As a former rock interviewer, I might suggest everyone needs to step up their game. They just ask the same boring questions again and again. I think that's what the girls are goofing on.
@@Razormiller If you were a punk-femme band, shouldn't you be trying to dominate, humiliate, and mock any Nice Guy (tm) that's being paid to pretend that they're your equal? Nobody-NOBODY-came here for whosamacallits' interview skills; they came here in support of Wet Leg.

they're a bit odd when they stare at each other while they talk, hope those interview get more flow as they grow as an artist, I love them they're great !

I’ve seen quit a few of their interviews. They don’t speak too much. And that’s cool. They will eventually speak essays. But great band. Great music.

Saw them at Rock City in Nottingham as warm up act for Inhaler and they really caught my eye…just hopeful that the next two albums have the same character and feel and that the record company do not get involved in the production

Note that they have gotten a little better at doing interviews. Typical older interview:
Interviewer: "So, how do you feel about making the Big Time?"
Rhian: "Hee-hee-hee; well I'm not sure, hee-hee-hee, we, uh, hee-hee-hee, have. I mean, hee-hee-hee, what is, hee-hee-hee, the Big Time, hee-hee-hee, anyway"?

Hire a different interviewer, I’ve done amateur band/artist interviews over Skype, that were somehow more natural feeling and smoother than this.

I love this band as well, but they do come across as a bit simple in interviews especially the little one. That said, perhaps that gives them more appeal.
