i have no idea if my razer blade advanced 2021 even supports 2,000 mb/s but i got it because i found the 2tb for $190 and im in desperate need of an external storage drive. do you trust samsung drives for me to transfer my data over to the T9 permanently?
Theoretically I can't see why *not*... but I'll note that I've not tried and it's been a while since I've particularly done much with Linux myself. But for the most part that's more going to be a function of the system that you're using to run Linux itself and whether it can recognise external SSD drives as bootable drives; there's nothing inherent that I can think of that would stop it being formatted in the right way or set up as a bootable Linux system to speak of.
@@AlexKidman couse i can say the ssd is quite fast, but how it will perform if is used to install an Linux OS, so that you can boot on different PC/Laptop.
It should work, but bear in mind (IIRC) the PS5 treats external storage as good only for playing PS4 (or earlier) digital titles, not PS5 ones, due to the speed limitations over USB.
I'm thinking of getting a backup USB Type C Cable to use this SSD with my iPhone 16 Pro Max for the best performance. What kind of cable should I buy?
It's 2000 MB not 20GB
That was the first thing i noticed too :D
How is the cooling between the two for something as long tasks watching movies and such
MacBook Pro M3 and iPhone 15 pro ok with the speed?
Is there any device that has USB 3.2 2*2?
Nice, informative video. Thanks
Hello i bought legion 5 pro ,it have only type c gen 2port 10Gbps speed port will it work on it 😢

could this be used with an insta 360 x4
hello what was the speed testing app you use?
In this case it was Amorphous DiskMark.
Alex, great review. However, I think 2,000 MB/s = 2 Gbps (not 20 Gbps).
You’re totally right - I’m going to blame the brain gremlins for that one. Off to hang my head in shame…
Generally they say, 20 Giga bit per second (20 Gbps) just to make it attractive.
can I use their with iPhone 15 pro
Im wanting to store thousands of photos and videos on this, how much in GB does it store.
Depends on the capacity you buy -- sold in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities.
Hi, can you install Linux on this ssd? and boot from it? Thanks

Do you think that external drive would be good for gaming like for example ps5?

Nice review 👌 keep doing it
