- Qorvex is the newest Warframe. But is he any good? In this Build Guide you will learn everything.
Qorvex was released with Warframe's new Update "Whispers in the Wall" and he is incredibly strong.
In this video I will explain his abilities, tell you how he works in active gameplay and of course also how to build Qorvex and how you can farm him for yourself.

I really love his appearance!
For me it is a good option to use the three umbra mods, since it manages to reach an incredible amount of armor and the ability to not need prime sure footed thanks to its third ability makes it quite comfortable to use.

Man this warframe is junk, lets be honest when you see the rad dmg numbers on steel path and each tick is only 65 dmg that is nothing. the dmg steel path deals out just eats through him even at over 2k armor so yeah de let us down again. Lets be honest people go nuts just cause its a new frame. De keeps giving us frames that have to have some other frames ability to be able to survive. I put 3 umbral mods on him along with additional armor so yeah dmg vs survival another frame that doesn't scale at all. so thanks again for a poorly made frame.

When I first saw this fella's 4th ability - I instantly thought about Ion and it's Laser Core from Titanfall 2.
The way you describe the warframe abilities and everything related is straightforward and time-efficient specially for new players
I just started playing 8 days ago I'm sooo addicted to this game I want this frame but I can wait I still only have 1 frame barely going to have my first farmed frame soon Gara
I have impulse control so I bought the Qorvex bundle on sight cause I thought bringing a Demon Core to a Gunfight was funny. Ended up loving the Warframe enough that I spent 3 Umbra Forma on it and gave that Augment for his 2 a shot and got even more armor stripping out of it. With the rest of the build, I'm sitting at +45% Range, +92% Strength, 2931 Armor, 600 Shields, and 2450 health(after Archon Shards). Still working on getting more Archon Shards and getting any of my Arcanes past Rank 1, but I'm getting there.
I am coming back to warframe after 1 year pause and I find so many new amazing content creators I am so glad I found u dude!

People have mentioned how his 4 adds the chain reaction property to his pillar, but another undocumented interaction is his 3: on top of preventing status procs, it also prevents all knockdown and stagger, effectively giving you a free primed sure footed. And since it applies to every teammate in affinity range, it's more like _4_ free PSF. Bonus tip: since it uses affinity range, you can use the fosfor flares from plains of eidolon to reach far away players.
I would recommend Nautilus over the Panzer. It can pull enemies into a group every 15 seconds with one of the bond mods reducing the timer by 3 seconds when you kill an enemy. It either doubles your grouping with ensnare on Qorvex, or allows you to use that helminth slot for something like roar, pillage or nourish

I think the new Precision Intensify mod (+90 strength to your fourth ability) would be good on him, since it seems like his other abilities don't need strength.

Qorvex DOESN’T need strength, only for his 2’s augment for armor strip/damage vul and more stacks for his 3, Crucible Blast scales off from Enemy density, the difference between 100% and 300% strength against *200lvl Steel path* enemies is very minimal

@@MHBlacky_ENG The problem that Qorvex is a Gas Guzzler of a Warframe which means he uses up energy way too much. But, Arcane Energize and Equilibrium helps....I guess.
Well, this video got you a subscriber, the way you comment is nice and relaxing and nothing like the usual videos I happen to stumble upon that have people that sound d*ad inside
Use beam weapons that arc to nearby emeries on Qorvex. Punch through on arcing beam weapons allows it enemies hit by the arc to make a new arc of themselves, chaining the arc. For each +1 punch through you get 1 additional chain arc, so at +3 the enemy being hit by the beam can also be hit again by a chain arc, doubling damage, and each enemy hit by the arc will emit anthor arc and those enemies hit by that emit another.

The radiation stick (when hit by his 4) will give out its radiation AOE more frequently and also spread the chain reaction explosion effect to enemies

I have been running around with Qorvex for a while and I made a conclusion after testing out his abilities:
Qorvex doesn’t need strength, besides making the armor strip for the augment of his 2 stronger, Crucible Blast scales off from enemy density, not ability strength since each explosion that happens empowers the rest, that means that effectively the more enemies are hit by the explosions the stronger the damage become, quite literally a chain reaction of mass destruction.
I’ll know, because I have used a base strength Qorvex against level 200 SP enemies and was able to keep up with Saryns and Octavias in damage and kills.
The difference between 100% and 300% strength on Crucible Blast is minimal, you’ll be better off going off the road with ability range.

Theres a new mod that gives 90% power strength to just the 4th ability, though it uses the Intensify suffix. Precision Intensify. It drops off of Nechramechs in the new tileset. In addition, there is a mod for the new secondary that can give you up to 60% more power strength for 20 seconds, as well as it being a fairly decent primer weapon.
Huh? I understood it as buffing the 4th ability casted in a row. Interesting.

Precision intensify's potential is really high on some warframes. I'm using It right now on mesa. And thinking about putting it on my nezha/wisp/khora with roar/pillage/nourish in the 4th. 90% strength is pretty huge.
Qorvex is gonna LOOOOVE Breach Surge.
Another unique, neat synergy for survivability for Qorvex in particular; With life strike and ample access to Radiation, the Rakta Dark Dagger can build both health AND overshields, making all his tools very efficient in keeping this walking reactor reinforced.
I'm still not convinced Qorvex isn't just a skin for atlas skin or something

Something interesting to say that I think you ommited is that the 2nd abiltity makes hit ennemies more vulnerable to damage including abilities. Even though I agree that its cc potential is weaker than khora's power, it still has the potential to increase your ult damage even more

Maybe slowva? It would be really good for interception mission and mobile defense
if you don't pick a buff, you want a grouping ability. stuff like this has no place.
But, it is usable on a Gloom Nova instead of Gloom to 99% slow enemies for... whatever reason. there are no game modes, except mirror defense, that support an approach like this.

Need to add that for the new player build version you can include the umbral mods because WITW is a post new war quest and the sacrifice was doable way before that

To be honest, the umbral forma is actually a pretty fine investment. Usually i consider it excessive to get all 3 umbral mods onto a warframe, but Radiation Boi here actually benefits from it greatly.

Agree indeed, it also synergizes perfectly with the new arcane that gives you more max energy the more armor you have, this neat little thing makes Qorvex jump from 200 base energy to a whopping 950!

A great thing to know about qorvex is that his 4 can hit his 1 to create the chain explosion on his 1 rather than only his 4

1:57 Another thing to mention about radiation is that enemies do more damage to each other the more stacks they have. This also makes it a not terrible option for softening up hordes of enemies without any input from yourself.

I went with an interesting approach with Qorvex's abilities and it mainly plays with the walls. There is a new mod which fully strips armor from enemies hit by the walls which can turn those heavy gunner grinners into paper.
Also as this play style isn't playing with the pillars I went to push everything while lowering ability duration to 10% as the other abilities don't interact with duration.
So I line up everything with the walls and one single tap to delete everything.
Lvling Qorvex atm and was comparing my build to yours.
I was like: "huh? Steel Fiber?.... 1750 armor... wtf mate!"

No way you showed dagath’s 4 nuke as an example. Literally nukes everything. It one shots high lvl enemies if you know what you’re doing. And it armor strips permanently

The new Qorvex augment makes his 2nd ability CRUCUIAL for his build. Using it will armor strip 50% permanently and refresh his 1st ability duration!!!
I've found a max range build with spectrasiphon goes hard on qorvex. The lure helps group up enemies and the lack of scaling with strength makes lower strength a bit possible (though I run trans. fortitude and augur to get some above 100). It's not the best on boss type enemies, but it tears down grunts and provides infinite energy for those willing to sit still. I like running it with the cedo for extra viral spreading and wide spread radiation spreading

I made mine with as much strength as possible and %145 stretch, it works well for those cqc hallways, 2 green taus, 2 yellow taus for energy efficiency, and one tau red for melee crit damage, it's so beautiful, my strength is at like %300 I'd have to confirm but making him full umbral is totally worth it

I think wisp is pretty down low on the list of frames that deserve a buff.

Usually, my clutch heals come from my Op's arcane that has scaling regen (% of max AND heals entire team if in range).. I think it was called something like Magus Mend.. It has been months since I played last, so the name might be wrong.. Think Wisp was the new prime or was being talked about when I played last.. It was before October.. I loaded up my Panzer Vulp with a number of utilities including a secondary means of healing via Primed Pack Leader (I think, or was maybe some other mod that heals me when it deals damage) and 3x 60/60 status mods to make viral+fire so the quills always apply those 2 statuses.. I cheapened out on survivability because, well, immortal fox.. I heard all pets are now immortal or was that an update yet to be released? Pretty sure it is in game because you mentioned bond mods and I think they were part of the same (immortal pets) update..

Nah, due to the diminishing returns with increasing armor, Inaros with his much higher health pool will always come out on top 😉

that assuming was stupid that was Qorvex unmoded. he did insane amount damage for unmodded frame against level 100+ enemies
In that vid I was mostly referring to how I envisioned his kit to work in practice. Not to the low damage. That this was not representative was obvious but from the stream I imagined his kit to be mostly underwhelming in terms of which role he'd be playing.
7:08 with the release of precision intensify I suggest you use that if you are focusing on strength with that singular ability

No way people are still saying dagath's 4 is bad. Yeah its clunky, and doesnt go down for some reason? But it can definitely one shot sp heavy gunners with very minimal effort, especially if paired with her 2

Fr that made me sad. Cuz dagath’s 4 is an absolute nuke. Idk wht ppl are saying about it being clunky. The horse just going straight? I don’t see that as a problem. And to one shot you don’t stand close but alittle bit far away like 5m
At this point if a frame can’t do the funny numbers in as many button presses as another, people consider it worthless.
For Dagath's horses, all you need is a bit of casting speed. Use Natural Talent, Madurai, or two Amber Archon Shards, and they can be spammed really fast, annihilating whole rooms of enemies.
@Zuxtron I prefer having slower casting speed because they do more damage when casted on top of enemies

I personally would swap arcane energize with molt augmented, and then simply slap on 1-2 amber archon shards for more energy orb efficiency, on top of zenurik's energy regen from energy orbs.

Or keep energize and run the new energy regen mod and run a different skill tree to zenurik. No need for flow and equilibrium with the new mod. For further security add the amber for energy or efficiency or purple for budget equilibrium or both.
@@malpheus4299 doesn't work for me personally. still don't have archon fusion, currently in the process of maxing arcane energize through gargoyle cry, and with 2 augments on my nezha, can't fit it on them. Could probably try that on other builds though when I get the resources, but my setup still shreds so yippeeeeeeee

I do not agree with you on the wall. By default, energy management with Qorvex can be a bit hectic due to his 4 being such an energy sink by default, the containment wall plus pillar combo is an undeniably safe way to clear enemies with radiation + stun while also grouping them together. If it was something like Mag's pull, in my eyes it would do more harm than good, not only because it would just genuinely fill the Mag niche by default, but also, you can group them into a pillar, yes, but the frequency at which you may need to do this makes it incredibly redundant.
To be clearer, the good thing about Containment wall + Pillar is not only its consistent damage, but also the fact that it is cost effective. So while you could do a hypothetical Pillar + Pull +Laser, it would end up being straight up way more inefficient for basically just a more complicated version of the same thing. The good thing about the way is the WAY it groups enemies as well. Lining them up with the pillar means that you can more consistently hit with the laser.
I was sold as soon as I saw the chest laser 😭
why? whats the reason everyone likes that... why is shoodting a lazer that does suppar dmg costs to much more interessting "good" or even anything that shooting a weapon or hitting something with a melee weapon ... this warframe gives you nothing he is not a good weapon platform and on top of that not even a good "casterframe"
@@gehtkeinenwasan8087 Idk how oblivious someone can be if they say Qorvex is not a good casterframe. Stop thinking about whole room nukes, both frame ability wise and weapon wise and you'll see that a lot of frames are actually fun and useful.
@@Fox5z ähm no he is just not good my all time frames and weapons are not aoe ololol stuff... stop asuming stuff. he has only one passable ability his 4... the 1 is just bad if you take it alone. his two does not work most of the time and when it works there are better otpion that do it better.... his 3 is useless... and his 4 does is ok with his 1 together. he is passeble tanky... and for me he is ugly as fuck but that is subjective. there are manny frames that war more fun to play have abilitys that actully interact with each other. i hope he gets a good augment that helps him being good. right now he is meh.

@@Fox5z status imunity should never be the only thing that is on a ability. his 2 is not a good grouping tool becouse there are better and easyer options that actuly work... his one has only one purpose buffing his 4... and if you think playing a warframe where where you do this 14444444444444444444etc is fun then you have a problem. oh and procing radiation in a room is not hard... i have atleast two other warframes that can do that too and one of them heals you and your party strips armor and ca do a lot more than 144444444444444etc
if you like him thats fine... i do not and i will not till the point that his 2 does what it thould do grouping enemys in actural gameplay and give him a skin.
I really want to subsume his first to wisps ability. It still spreads radiation and gives you a damage boost instead of a slow.
And it still has a benefit from the wall smush to help spread it
Wow who wouldve guessed a warframe with high health and now the highest armor wouldnt need to use shield gating to survive. Azninvasions build is the wackiest thing i have ever seen. Rolling guard on a frame with over 800 armor?? This build is much more suitable. Nice content!
Because you can't tank level cap, most of Anzvasion build are compliment around the level cap content! But I have to agree, this feel like a better, easier to put in build for normal SP contents.

Having him demonstrate a clunky build for survival at 5 minutes against level 101 enemies isn't really saying much as it's not actually showing the build in the scenario it should be used in. I am aware of how clunky builds that go to level cap can be and all the work the operator does but watching his video against not even max starchart steelpath enemies is just so funny to me for some reason.

So apparently you don’t need strength on Qorvex. His radiation scales better on enemy density.

I like my build better. 0 forma. Stand United, no exilus, Intensify, Stretch, Augur Message, Primed Continuity, Augur Secrets, Augur Reach, Transient Fortitude, Primed Vigor. Arcane Grace and Molt Augmented.
I call it Desolator, after the unit from Red Alert 2. Complete area denial. Chaff mobs turn to soup instantly, and anything chunkier gets a rad-pumped Opticor or Catchmoon blast right to the DNA. Save my 4 for blowing up groups of toughguys that survive the 'rinkas.
