      Yup. Conservatives doubting libertarians simply for not having airtime don’t have to look far in terms of how their own are treated in the social media sphere of major platforms. They’re shadow banned into corners of discourse, with diminished traffic. Remaining blue pilled in perspectives of legitimizing media presence when major media outlets are controlled does not do anything positive for conservatives in their own odds against the reigning progressive regime.

    Sadly, all the faces of the Libertarian party since after Ron Paul have all been kind of cringy or lame. Gary Johnson was idealistic and uninformed. Jo Jorgensen was incredibly boring and leaned into the woke BS (on top of clearly not having the ability to debate or be charismatic). Larry Sharpe is kind of idealistic and doesn't seem to know the nuance on lots of things. His podcast with Joe Rogan was cringy to watch and I would have sworn he was high on coke.
    I'd still prefer libertarians to Republicans and Democrats but I just wish they did a better job with political strategy and actually propping up someone that's strong, charismatic and highly intelligent so they can debate and sell their ideas and prove they know what they're talking about. I honestly just want someone that's rational and doesn't cave to the left or right but it seems like libertarians are always trying to toe the line of pleasing Republicans and Democrats at the same time but never being strong enough to coerce voters from either side. I'm not claiming to know the right strategy since people are tribalistic by nature and only seem to get more so, as time has gone on, so might just always be a losing battle for Libertarians.

      I think the gist of it is they do debate but only when they can be televised.

    So much cope. Libertarians aren't allowed in the debates because people don't care about them. Big third parties have made the big boy table before (Ross Perot) because they were popular. LIbertarians just aren't as appealing as they think they are.

    • @Hibernial
      @Hibernial 2 года назад +1

      Victories don’t have to be uniquely in the political realm. Cultural victories are more impactful anyways.
      There’s good potential in people who are calling to end the Federal Reserve in the liberty movement, and those who are tired of the wokeism in the conservative and populist movement, to come at a joint front. Increasingly socialist governments also always build themselves up onto an inevitable collapse.

      He's from the city, it's pretty normal. He's trying to sell the idea of solutions, he's already got double the funding of his previous run. He also has 10+ events every week meeting people across the state, only candidate to hit every county in the state(we have 57) in an election cycle.

    • @Hibernial
      @Hibernial 2 года назад

      He’s good in the NY climate and culture. Of course that is a very niche culture not reflective of much of the rest of life elsewhere in the states. I wouldn’t blame him for coming from where he’s most familiar, and after all NY state is arguably the worst of all 50 states. Still there’s something valuable in his perspective I’d believe if he’s able to endure in that harsh of a political climate.

      The first time I heard Larry speak, I was like "who the f**k is this guy?" Now, I pay close attention to him when he speaks. He has a very different approach than what I was used to over the past 35 years. After watching him campaign in all 62 NY state counties (which I believe no other gubernatorial candidate in NY history has done) and thinking about what that has cost him over the last 5 years (it can't be cheap, and lately he looks worn out), and I am happy to see that he is finally catching on and getting more attention. Granted, he's high-strung and a human being who of course won't get everything right - and he admits this. I hope that you get the opportunity to speak to him in person, if that's a possibility. I appreciate you even listening to him. Cheers!

    • @Hibernial
      @Hibernial 2 года назад

      The ones organizing the country now are statist progressives who ridiculed Ron Paul in a similar manner of wording, yet he ignited a lot of people regardless. In fact the ruling progressives love the idea of the standard opinion being that an entire country ought to be organized; it infers there’s credibility in the position they assume to have and in declaring power they presume to wield.
      But it is changing, albeit the party is just something at face value ultimately. The corporate press would rather want public opinion to remain on their side as long as possible in slowing down momentum that’s picking up in the liberty movement.

Unfortunately the duopoly has created so many barriers to entry politically that local candidates and the national party alike have to spend a lot of their time and relatively miniscule budgets on things like ballot access efforts, and so there's usually little time and money left for advertising and such.
