Poor thing passed away a little before 8:30 pm last night (1/14/19)
He may have lost his fight against his damaged kidneys (due to babesis), but he spent it with a loving family who was willing to stay by his side through it all. God bless Arbuckle, at least he's no longer struggling and I wish his family all the best 💕

+Sadaf Taj he was obese* BECAUSE he was neglected. the lady said a dog his size is supposed to only be 50lbs, but he was more than twice that..
Sadaf Taj They found him in a random location by himself. The joints of his legs were obviously not okay. He could barely move.
They neglected to give him the vet trips and diet he clearly needed. Neglect can come in many forms.

@@moonglow1311 Some dogs naturally have no self control too (usually labs, including my labrador-poodle cross) but it doesn't really matter - what matters is his old owners pathetic disgusting behaviour that let him get so big
@@evangelionaddict8212I had a black Lab, and a Yorkie Terrier (unfortunately, no longer with me). The Terrier was very fickle, and only seemed to have an appetite during weird times of the day. However, the black Lab was constantly hungry(?) wanting more food after eating his meals, never seeming to be satisfied - often eating the smaller dogs food when I turned my back. I loved him and didn't want to deprive him, so I 'fed into' (excuse the pun) the Labs need for more; in ways of treats and table scraps. As he got older, he gained a considerable amount of weight, to the point where it was difficult for him to stand up, started having breathing problems, etc. Of course, all of this was my fault. I'm not talking the same amount of weight as the dog in the vid, but still heavy. As in humans, who have loss control over certain addictions, there are enablers (me) who give in their to problem, and it is the responsibility of one logical person to step in and take control of the situation.
Some dogs don't really know when they're full, so they'll just eat as long as you give them food. Might be most dogs, I'm not sure.
But that's why you've got to have a 'feeding time' and train your dog(s) to follow this routine. They will follow it and probably be happier for it. :)
They have an amazing inner clock, I can tell you. :D

My Bf and i went to a shelter to adopt a senior dog. We saw quite a few dogs but non of them caught my eye until we did a 2nd trip around and we saw this CHUBBY dog tapping her feet of excitement. That is all it took for us to adopt her. He name is Tinkey she is a Corgi/Chihuahua Mix or a Chogi since we brought her home she has lost so much weight and happier than ever, she is spoiled and loved unconditionally. I always tell everyone that wants her " She is the best $5 dollars I've ever spent"

Domesticated animals, like Arbuckle, are dependent on humans to care for them. It is a God-given assignment. I feel sad for the person who got him into that state of being so obese. They must have suffered the same way. Many show "love" through feeding. I'm grateful he had a happy life at the end.
I have 4 dogs and all are from people who couldn't keep them and one is over weight and I love him so much along with my other 3 and I will still keep helping any animal I can.❤❤

This baby was neglected. He is a adorable and looks like a sweetie. He just needed real love and tender care and a real home. A woman like this who have kindness and a desire to do good things.
Went on RUclips because I wanted to distract myself and be happy for a while then this video was suggested and it did make me happy. I wanted an update on him and saw him on Instagram and damn it, I’m sad and upset again because poor pup passed away last January. I’m sure the rest of your life was full of hugs and kisses, sweet arbuckle. Ugh, my heart. 😭

I love these kind of videos because it makes me so happy for how excited the owners get over small things and I love how she’s like “oh, he just walked over for some pets!!!!” That made me so happy.
Swimming is the best thing for dogs. It's easier on their joint, they loose weight and have fun. My dog a rottweiler mixed with German shepherd was diagnosed with Hip dysplasia when she was 2. I brought her swimming every day in the summer for about 4 years she was 11 year's old when she past her legs gave out. The Veterinarian was astonished everytime he saw her... Shelby was my babygirl and I was privileged to be part of her journey .....

Somebody fed their own ego by letting him eat people food junk and then when he became a living sign of their abuse, they abandoned him. People suck! So glad he has a loving family now. You can see the excitement in his eyes.

Even if you should take care of your pet so he doesn't gain too much weight so it doesn't affect his health, you shouldn't abandon him because he is overweighted. Seeing video like this where pets are saved just reminds me that there are still good people in this world

I used to work at McDonald’s and their was this women who came in every day twice a day to get two cheeseburgers plain with extra cheese and no buns, I looked at her funny and she said this is what she feeds her dogs because dog food is to expensive. Every rescue story I see is the best story ever. I will never understand the mentality of a human being treating an innocent creature in such horrible ways... I'm immensely grateful for people who do the tough work of rescuing and rehabilitating them - and showing them the love they deserve.
Ill try to explain. Some people are so selfish that they only care about their own convenience. They are so self serving that they will not relate to an animal's suffering.

My dad did that to his dogs(it was later in life)- He kept telling me that he only wanted his 'friends' to be HAPPY! Then my dad got diabetes

He might not know how to swim :/ swimming is a great exercise for anyone overweight but if he cant, he cant.
McLovin McLovin almost all dogs know how to swim but they would also use a flotation device to hold him. Then he would be able to exercise without the stress of the extra weight on his joints.
He might hate the water...my dog does...so that would stress him out if that was the case. Good idea though! But, I'm sure they know what they are doing...
