  • In this video we look at the developing our PI set up to create refined commodities using the refined materials me are producing.
    The set up in Low sec have evolved over years and never been planned. They still make around 750 million ISK a month.
    We also compare yields in High Sec, Low Sec and Wormholes.
    In game name ThinTrash, say hi! (No ISK required, thanks!)

    For anyone watching, there is a skill called "Customs code expertise" under the "Trade" skills, that will reduce the taxes transfering on and off planets.

    Each type of plant can make one p3 level item. I do find you need to really be out in nullsec to make the best out of pi. If you are doing it in highsec make sure you train into lowering the taxes.

      I couldn't find an npc customs office even out in the 0.7 :( I didn't mention the skill though and will, thanks. Yes successful PI really need a set up in as low a sec status as the player can handle. Hope fully if they watch my other vids they know how to travel pretty safely and will get a little more confident xD

    You are in one of the most populated clusters in all of eve, you are in the main gallente hub for missioning and trade and very close to Jita and Motsu the Caldari hub.
    Also there is an important trade skill that reduces the tax you pay that is quite important to boost profits.

    Always nice to see a detailed PI guide, I'd suggest removing the storage altogether and just run everything through the launchpad. Unless you've made a total arse of the maths it'll work fine and it's more elegant. Fly safe.

    It sounds weird but you command centre does not need to be connected or even part of your network. If you are looking for a bit of storage use the launchpad which can act as storage and launch or an additional storage facility if you need the extra space.

      The owner of the customs office sets the rate and I think can exempt the owning corps members. No one can touch your on planet assets they stay there for ever even if you neglect them for ages.

  • @hundun5604
    @hundun5604 2 года назад +1

    Couple of things. Correct me if I'm wrong. It has been a while the last time I did PI.
    1. You can export (without a launchpad and custom office ) with use of the command centre. Yes only 500m3, but you can do that multiple times.
    2. You've to bring the slider al the way to the left to pick up low yield spots on the planet.
    3. The range you can scan on the map is in ly radius. It has nothing to do with jumps.
    4. 👍

    • @daddex9222
      @daddex9222  2 года назад

      Did you see part 1, that stuff is covered there? The light years thing is correct, i have no idea why as you cant easily relate it to jumps at all.

    Is it true that its not worth it to build a p2 using p1 resources from 2 seperate planets? I was going to tale the p1s and combine them on a third planet where i would not extract and just focus cpu on the p2 production.

    • @daddex9222
      @daddex9222  3 года назад +1

      Not at all, there is customs tax to pay, but never so much there is not profit. The real benefit of processing into t2 is the huge decrease in volume. I would say the time saved more than offsets a bit more tax.

    The beginning of your video is not totally accurate when it comes to remote scanning.
    As I said in the other video (i been playing eve since 2007 on and off, so memory is hazy), it is the scan resolution when you observe the planet that is impacted by the skill level. The further away, the less accurate the scan is when you are remote. It doesn't have anything to do with jumps.

    • @WyMustIGo
      @WyMustIGo 3 года назад

      Read about REMOTE SENSING... It is 100% related to the distance of you and the source you are scanning in the system.

    • @WyMustIGo
      @WyMustIGo 3 года назад

      With 1 skill in remote sensing, you must be within 1 lightyear of the planet in order to get the most accurate surface scans. At level 5, you can be 9 light years away. You can be further away, but your surface scans will be innacurate. A jump has nothing to do with lightyears.

    • @WyMustIGo
      @WyMustIGo 3 года назад

      Here is the SPECIFIC NOTE:
      "Big note: Scan accuracy varies heavily by range to the system. While scanning at your max range may give you an idea of a planets usefulness without travelling there (spotting two rich resources near each other), be sure to rescan when you're in the system for best accuracy. In-system vs. in-orbit makes no difference. You can scan your existing colonies at any range and seemingly at in-system accuracy - which makes sense, since you've already got "equipment" there. So don't worry about range if you need to rearrange your extractors."

    • @WyMustIGo
      @WyMustIGo 3 года назад

      BTW, a single jump in eve could be 12+ lightyears...

    • @daddex9222
      @daddex9222  3 года назад

      @@WyMustIGo Thanks for the info. I don't stray too far from there so it has never been an issue. I think the fact it is related in light years makes it hard to think of in a range system wise.
