Yes, those are Lipa trees. The tree is also known as Tilia.

So Lipa trees don’t have helicopter seeds which these trees have. So it’s most likely some kind of maple tree. Love the smell of Lipa (which I also didn’t smell there lol).

@@gamal-salem Lipa has helicopter seeds just they are different shape than maple ones. Besides, maple tree has completely different leaves and overall shape. That is most definitely lipa. It is one of the most common trees in Serbia.

26:40 that spring is who knows how old. Maybe even from roman times. Turkish historian Evliya Çelebi, was in Belgrade in 1667 and described two inscriptions on that fountain: "This drinking fountain was renovated by the benefactor Sokollu Mehmed Pasha 1576-1577" and "Come, my God, if on this world you wish to drink from paradise spring"
So you drank the water from paradise😄 The Ottoman Grand vezier Mehmed Pasha Sokolović was of Serbian origin and made the fountains, churches, mosques and the well known Bridge on the Drina river (the architect was renowned Mimar Sinan).

27:04 actually that was spring water. And down to the Saint Petka church is also spring water. Maybe when they renovated they put the pipes for city water ć. But I doubt it. Because they are checking it regulary🤔

Wow that’s pretty incredible!! Thanks for sharing this information with me. We weren’t sure if it was city water or not. I just appreciated having water available to drink as it was super hot that day, but the history makes it that much better!!

@@gamal-salem yes it's nice to imagine how many people trough the centuries stoped there to rest, and refresh with cold spring water. Maybe even the Sultan Suleyman who spent some of his last days in Belgrade 😁

I just wanted to say ,very nice, but then i heard Tirol songs, which has nothing with Serbia. The opposite- Serbia has very bad experience in two World wars with Austrians and Germans.Albeit was the winner in both, but with great cost. So,next time, try to find some domestic song.Serbia has beatiful own music.

Thanks very much for your input. 🙏🏽 It’s challenging at times to find copyright free music which has everything I am looking for. Though I am aware of the history you just mentioned I didn’t know the origin of the music. It just sounded nice and added to the feel of the videos. But I’ll keep this in mind for future videos. Cheers.
