It is both fun and interesting that old nations (not all citizens of countries per se) very often find friends easily, are more welcoming and go easier on day-to-day life, similar food, and look more to person than daily politics and stuff that might change tomorrow. Usually they got it stuck in mind from history or from their grandparents how to deal with issues and who you can rely to. Egypt is one of such countries that Serbia never had issues with, just mutual respect. I am happy you had good time in Serbia and come back again when you can!

Have you tried Serbian traditional food? I only saw you eating salmon toast with poached eggs. Not very traditional Serbian food.
