Thanks Tim- there will be another in a day or two, dashboard going back in this weekend. Then a big sandblast underneath and a wee rust repair. Oh the crazy wiring drop outs were caused by a dodgy ignition tumbler- when that is replaced, then I can reliably trace all the other faults lol.

I changed all mine on a 67 2A to LED's 2 years ago. all lights are way brighter, sharper , I can see farther and almost one quarter the amp draw...

you should measure the voltage under load to get real numbers. i am pretty sure you will see it close to your nine volts if you do so . . .

I can't believe that you didn't rust treat the light surrounds either, unless you did it off camera of course !

Priority is get stuff working again for a road check Thats why Im not painting it or doing seats. Ill comeback to all the the pretty stuff at my leisure. They only needed a wire brush and a spray of rust converter. Itll all get stripped again for painting.

Mine is now fixed!- you can see its repaired because the texture is different on the new plastic I added in. but Im real happy with an afternoon's work. It'll be in the next video in a week when the wiring, rust and demister are all sorted.
