1:19:25 Colossus Hammer removes flying from the creature whenever it attaches. It does not keep removing flying, which is why Modern Hammer Time is good as Inkmoth Nexus as it provides flying again when you reactivate it. Akroma's Will would provide it with flying allowing him to block (Yes, Embercleave would fall off before it is red.)
Doesn't Jon have to draw and lose 1 life when he attacked Cory for lethal putting him to 7 life then Cory sacs 7 creatures and Jon dies before he can gain life.
All damage is put on the stack that includes gain life damage. Then all damages resolved. Once damage is resolved your gain life has to resolve and then when the stack is empty you die
@@adambuechler9130 no... damage does not use the stack, nor does the stack have to be empty for someone to die, you die whenever state based actions are checked(which is pretty much any time a spell is not CURRENTLY resolving) if you have a lose condition(having 0 or less life, 10 or more poison counters, ect, ect). What Leonard said is correct, a trigger goes on the stack when Jon attacked saying Jon has to draw 1 card and lose 1 life, this happens after he declares the attack but before the actual damage step, before even blockers are declared this happens, this was the time where Corey did his sac 7 things to desperately find an answer, but he technically didn't need an answer for Jon, they just ignored Jon's trigger to have lost a life, which is not a may ability. In other words, yeah this game should've ended up being Corey vs Stephen at the end, probably resulting in Stephen winning unless one of those cards Corey drew was a boardwipe, then he might've had a chance.
Jon should have lost a life on attack. Corey could have killed him before blockers. Jon forgot the trigger when it was most advantageous. He remembered every other turn.

Had John taken the 1 damage from Syr Gwen (to draw a card because he attacked with a creature) when he attacked with Danitha, it could have been a slightly different outcome.
Yep, the only attack from John that doesn't leave him dead to Corey imploding his board is Rogue's passage on an unequipped Syr Gwyn for lethal commander. Of course, the board still implodes knocking John to 1...
I love the content folks as always. I do struggle with Corey’s constant desire to attack/kill Jeremy when Jon is the obvious threat. It’s happened in almost every game in the last couple of seasons and I don’t understand it. However, I am also not in their playgroup so it may just be a running gag between the two of them. It’s just just frustrating to never see Jeremy get to play his decks.
I would really like these camera settings to be figured out. Having blurry video on half the players and the deck tech camera is too much. Topdown looks okay and Corey/John's camera looks good, but damn, the other cameras scuffed.
I thought Jon was wrong about that hammer play "7/12/2019 If the equipped creature gains flying after Colossus Hammer became attached to it, it will keep flying." Gatherer agrees.
I love that Corey is like, I will not try to harm Stephen Green in hopes Stephen will not attack him back. But Stephen's deck tech is straight up destroy Corey
John missed so many Syr Gwyn triggers for attacking with an equipped creature 😂 isn't that the whole point of having her, card advantage/draw in the command zone
Hey guys! love the shows and the content. I say this not out of anything other than wanting the show to be the best it can possibly be - If you need some help with your audio/video please don't hesitate to reach out. I work in live entertainment and know some great people in the Carolinas that would be more than happy to give your set up a once over and smooth out any issues you may have things like the blurry cameras and inconsistent audio. Love the content and cant wait to see what's in store for the upcoming season!
"I'm going to make piece with Steven geen. This season all the love to Steven." 1st attack of the season....I attach Steven green. Lol and the spite continues
I'm so tired of Corey King-making for Jon. Also, tired of "Spike Voltron Suarrez" playing cedh when everyone else is trying to be entertaining. I would LOVE to see Jeremy kick it into high gear, play OP decks, and smash Jon and Correy all season long. It'd be a nice, refreshing change from watching Jeremy get mercilessly bullied every game.
What is happening with the quality? First it was the resolution, and now the sound? Love the show, I dont critic the contain. Just want to appreciate it in better quality XD
Jon is a try hard in my opinion, not matter how much the rest want to build fun and balanced decks he just says "nah, I play to win all the time lawl I'm awesome"
Seems like they should have agreed on deck power levels before they played. Jeremy is playing one of the strongest commanders ever so he underpowered his deck, while John did the opposite.
You guys not bothering with any quality checks? The camera on Jeremy and Stephen is incredibly blurry, the individual deck intro videos are even worse.
It’s frustrating, but he kind of refuses to play politics and it ends up losing him the game. He won’t team up with Corey, and Stephan and Jon know this so they feel free to punch him.

Kinda funny that Corey doesn't say anything because he plays constructed formats like modern.
Omg a scg RUclips shorts series where Stephen does a 1min hottake would be epic. ❤
The shorts should be clips taken from a long-form video that goes into his reasoning behind the hot-takes
Great now i cannot live happily until i have that in my life
I second this

He missed one earlier in the game also
Yeah he would of lost and stephen would have killed shirley and the episode would have been like 10 mins shorter
He also had an additional around 54 minutes in, so it evens out
There are a couple of slightly blurry camera angles but I still loved the episode
Seems to be the one pointed towards the gruul area primarily.
The last couple of episodes have had blurry video for the camera pointing towards the right side of the table.
I genuinely thought my eyes were going bad. I was freakin out lol

I would watch hot takes with stephen. That would be great.
was it just me or was a camera mad blury. some good but some not so good.

glad it wasn't just me thinking that

I’m so on board for a Steven complains series!
what is happenning with the camera this time ahah it looks like they're in a sauna
I mean they have complained it gets hot in the studio... and looking at how sweaty and crabby they are, maybe it actually IS condensation!
I love that Corey is like, I will not try to harm Stephen Green in hopes Stephen will not attack him back. But Stephen's deck tech is straight up destroy Corey
its funny how the editor put the wrong commander damage for Corey, he put it in Jeremys color instead of Jon
Always a good day when you guys out out a new game video!
John missed so many Syr Gwyn triggers for attacking with an equipped creature 😂 isn't that the whole point of having her, card advantage/draw in the command zone
Excellent, as always. Thank you.
audio seems blown out more than usual, like damn, i rarely adjust the volume on youtube but this one just made me do it

A "Stephen's Strife" series would be entertaining. :)
Green's Gripes... Stephens Reasons... Grindin Green's Gears...
We are Syr Gwyn the Eldraine as it were
It's been a good couple years since i seen you guys. Good to see you're banter is stil going strong
Is it just me or is one of the cameras blurry?
I see Corey is channeling Commander Clash and is Embracing the power of "FRIENDSHIP"
Why kill Jeremy when Jon litereally presents lethal to anyone... That was harsh. Jeremy needs to have a turn to blow out everyone.
good video guys. your right cameras quality is pretty off. it looks very blurry / foggy
Please amend for the future, I agree 💯
Wednesday before Friday, what weird times we are living my friends
Stephen Complains podcast. I'd sub
Corey was cracking me up with those handshakes.
"Knights as a tr- as a creature type..." Lol
"I'm going to make piece with Steven geen. This season all the love to Steven." 1st attack of the season....I attach Steven green. Lol and the spite continues
Is it just me or is the camera out of focus for Stephen and Jeremy
"I hope that Fractured your plans." Hilarious
I love my chulane, landfall, primal surge deck.
Nice flavor text on that Balin's Tomb
Corey: I think me and Steven can be friends again this season
Steven: My goal is to get Corey out first
Hey looking for the deck list link and I'm missing it...

41:20 I like those style of cards how dare you Corey
FOCUS!
bros i love you guys. just re-watched an old episode. we need justin back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Justice for Corey! Jon should have been dead when he attacked. It would have been such a funny moment too.
I'd watch Stephen Green and Cory argue over mtg rules on a podcast. Episode one: casting lands.
What is happening with the quality? First it was the resolution, and now the sound? Love the show, I dont critic the contain. Just want to appreciate it in better quality XD
*have YT premium, and setting is in full hd*
Hopefully someone can answer me on this. If I build a colorless commander deck, can my lands or artifacts say add any color?
Did Jon draw at all outside his first attack with Gywn? That could have ended a lot differently.
Jeremy needs to go on his Villan ark he has been taking to many Ls lately. #teamnoell
Stephen tapping the heraldic banner for wubrg
It would be fun to watch
Did they put Vaseline on the winners cam?
Peter Jackson’s King Kong was dope😢
Stephen's Salty Takes sounds like a new shorts segment
Wait does double strike work on blocks?
Omg kill jon first. Jon is always too much of a threat. I mean damn 😂
Jon is a try hard in my opinion, not matter how much the rest want to build fun and balanced decks he just says "nah, I play to win all the time lawl I'm awesome"
He was playing the weakest of the precons. It was just a tribal voltron deck.
As for playing well, I would hope everyone does that.
Where is the link to send deck lists?
Like, comment, share, subscribe, binge, and change days
Here for the sleight of hand reprint.
Just let it GO become three balds and a fluffy head
Jeremy is my favorite PUN-ching bag
RUclips shorts from Stephen with hot takes called "Green's Screen".
Something just looks wrong with the camera on Steven & Jeremy they're blurry or a snapchat filter on them.
I would pay $5 to hear Mr. Green complain for an hour each week.
That's a plus one of Stephen complaining podcast
That one camera seems to have had better days... Very blurry on Jeremy and Corey
The camera on Stephen and that other guy looks like the lens is covered in vaseline
The way they pick on Jeremy is ridiculous makes me not want to watch
It’s frustrating, but he kind of refuses to play politics and it ends up losing him the game. He won’t team up with Corey, and Stephan and Jon know this so they feel free to punch him.
@@Alejandrodemontanathat’s not true I pretty sure Corey die from being pick on more 🧢

did you know there is a 1/1 for one red mana Knight that taps for black? i didn't and now you know too spread the word
I want a series of Steven complaining.
should 100000% have Stephen complain at least a one hot take a show!
hammer guy has flying still it gains flying against layers etc
Poor Jeremy getting pubstomped again
he could sleeve up slightly more competitive decks but he likes his green mythics.
I would Def watch an episode of stephan complaining about magic
I thought Commander VS was the Stephen complains show already?
Oh great Coreys back and still has no fans.
BASED steven
When is rhe first episode of Steven Says ?
14:11 Those were the good old days. Jitte with damage on the stack was insanely fun.
Is it me or does the picture quality look worse these past few episodes
Yeeeaaahhhh Jon cheats by forgetting his triggers to his advantage and wins the game 😂😂. Whoops.
The camera being out of focus really bothered me lmao
Jon went to no answers, better attack Corey so he don't get me... to having too many answer's in one turn, yikes 😅
Why is it yall always take out jermey 1st ever time
Steven Complains has got to be at least as interesting as most of the Professor's rant videos...
ok, who fingered the camera lens?
Jeremy, my guy stop making non-powerful decks. They're going to lie to you every time
I would watch Steven complain all day
Guys, please... Fix your cameras
Glad to see Syr Gwyn win, she is pretty good.
I could watch him complain
sunforger is 1 of the most annoying cards I hate that card
Now I remember why I stopped watching these, cards being read wrong, missed triggers....
Like you haven’t miss triggered and miss read Mr pro-tour champion 2 years running
@@Dark-Pikachu1 maybe on a random card, or if I'm distracted by someone else, but never played my own commander wrong!
