Bit sad his deck never got to do anything. I have an Adrix and Nev deck and it can do some pretty crazy things.

You don't have to reveal your top card of your library with Omnath every time. The card goes to your hand regardless but you only reveal if the card is 3 or more colors.

You may reveal that card if it has three or more colored mana symbols in its mana cost. If you do, add three mana in any combination of its colors and put it into your hand. If you don’t reveal it, put it into your hand."
The way I read this is:
1. Look at top card.
Either:
2a.) Reveal if it has three colored mana symbols to generate floating mana.
Or:
2b.) Don't reveal if it does not fulfill condition 2a. Don't add mana.
3. Put that card into your hand.
Could you explain why you think you would have to reveal it anyway, Ayli?
@@krazoanfox You don’t tho. First you look at the card. Then you may reveal it and get the mana and put it in your hand. If you don’t reveal it, you still put it in your hand.
He was basically giving away free information.
@@Guerte so you know what. Looking at more at it. There isn't a common on the second time the word "reveal" is used. Dyslexic at work. I was seeing if you don't, reveal it and put it into your hand.

Lynch is hilarious: literally in the same round he was so excited to untap all his lands with Ayli, thanks to his Wilderness Reclamation, he forgets to do it on Peter's and Skylar's turns.
I've been playing Mangara forever. Happy to see how much overlap there is, like I didn't intend on being so Angel heavy, but it just seems to be the thing to do
Peters accent makes him my favorite guest. I can listen to him narrate everyone's turn it is fantastic.

@1:20:25 Lynch is right about his mana being doubled. The World Tree makes his lands tap for all colors. So he tap them all his basics for white mana to double up. Chromatic Orrery says you can spend mana as though it were mana of any color.

That was one hell of a match! Lynch's Dryad forests were begging for some action after that ruinous ultimatum but i'm pretty sure they were cheering on the sidelines.

It feels inherently unfair, that us Germans sound the way we do when speaking English, while the Austrians get to sound like sophisticated Christoph Waltz villains
So, I believe when Lynch played "The Great Henge" and cast "Courser of Kruphix", he should have gotten a counter +1/+1 from (TGH) onto (COK) and drawn a card.
I think there were a few missed things in that turn. Looked like everyone forgot to pay for Elspeth's 2nd lore counter for +2 mana cost on non-creature spells
You don’t have to reveal every time on omnath just if it’s three or more colours and you want the mana option
Machine God’s Effigy is totally a slept on card.
I have to say I'm loving Ayli's look this episode, don't get me wrong she always looks great. Her style was just so on point, the hair draped over her shoulders with that fabulous scarf was just *chef's kiss*.

At 1:22:06, when Ayli casts Defy Death to return Angelic Field Marshal from her graveyard to the battefield, isn't it a creature entering the battlefield without being cast? Shouldn't Lynch's Containment Priest see it happening and exile the angel instead?

Absolutely loved this episode, I think Sky may have been able to take out Lynch in his swing with cursed mirror. If he’d made the cursed mirror into a serras emissary, then made his warforged copy and populate it of the same had any of them give protection from creatures, he could swing in and maybe take out Lynch

I think Lynch misplayed his Assassins Trophey 1:13:38 ... Deafening Silence weather it's removed or not checks the entire turn for non creature spells cast :P ... but hey I'm no judge and could be completely wrong :D

Hmmmmm.... No one can cast spells or activate abilities between the untap and upkeep steps because no one has priority.

I don't really understand why Sky thought he misplayed at 18:55, He had the red floating to activate goblin engineer, he had a clue he could sacrifice for the cost and he had ashnod to double the effect so he could get both the mirror and the bauble back to the field, please correct me if i'm wrong.

@Lynch Great vid. You probably already know, so forgive me. Omnath doesn't require you to reveal the card to put it in your hand. Only if the card has 3 colored pips, you may reveal to get that ritual effect.

I just realized that you didn't take into account the trigger from great henge when courser of kruphix ETB. You were supposed to draw a card and put a counter on it. Great Henge states whenever a nontoken ETBs, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature and draw a card, and its not a may effect.
When mike played animist awakening he said the x=12 but only revealed 10 cards shorted himself there

I don't think that's true. It enters *as* a copy.
Yo lynch, you should reread omnath. If it has three color mana you can reveal it and get the mana. But then it says if you do not reveal it, put it into your hand. So you basically just draw another card without revealing if it doesn't have the 3 colored mana value.
While Cursed Mirror can copy the Angel of Serenity through the protection from “card type artifact” it could not target the protected creatures.

Unfortunately using sequence engine with adrix and nev out only creates 1 token. The additional tokens it creates come out with 0 power and immediately die as tokens created do not carry counters over.

Great game. Unsure why Ayli insisted on flickering her creatures with the sword. Lost counters and unattached sword.
They were -1/-1 counters. I dont want those
so Vilianous wealth has you put the spells that you are deciding to cast on the stack in the order you are going to have them as a part of it's resolution and not a delayed ability to cast them. nobody can respond in between the spells unless they allow the spells to resolve to that point. Think of it like holding priority and putting them all on the stack.
Cast restrictions still apply too. if someone had a "Spells cost 1 additional to cast" you would still have to pay it. This part is unrelated but funny interaction.
I would love to see it go further. And if Lynch was killed by that horde of double strike flying angels it would have been amazing

Watching this for the juicy Mishra content :) Is Sky using Copper sleeves? If so, that's the same I run on my Mishra deck!! Looks similar anyway, but I thought the copper was a nice touch on an artifact deck. Lesgo!
What a legendary artifact joke, top tier
I was hoping to see a counterspell at some critical moment or something like Heroic Intervention, Flawless Maneuvers, Teferi's Protection.... but nothing... ever. The Mishra is fun to play but needs some kind of control cards, in late it lacks wincons.
I would love to have Peter narrate one of my games and record it for future viewings.
Peter was awesome. Great game all around though was enjoyable to watch all the way through.
After the black suns zenith, it is not shuffling to randomize the deck. You just keep the top on top. Entertaining episode nevertheless.

Mike, You're playing Omnath wrong! "If you don’t reveal it, put it into your hand" Note the location of the comma. You only reveal the card if you are using it to add mana to you mana pool.
I wasn't sure at first if there was beef between Ayli and Sky or just good natured ribbing.

So many missed triggers or effects. Lynch missing around 14 black mana by not unhappiness his land and tapping it on other turns....it is fun seeing missed effects and triggers. Granted I am sure many if these don't affect the outcome. I will have to see to know if it could have.

It says "as it enters" which is a replacement effect. As it modifies how it enters. It doesn't enter. Then become a copy

I had a round on spelltable using omnath locus of all and was able to get 46 into villainous wealth. It was incredible🤣
