all they need to do is re-read the cards. That's all. Something happens? Read it. "Oh, third saga trigger? I may as well pick up the card and read again what it does" that's all they need to do.
"Were guna try and complete everyone. Not just the praetors. Were gunna try and complete stephen. And were gunna try and complete jeremy. And were just gunna kill cory" 😂😂😂😂
Kosai does not say OR. It says AND. it must have all 3 (a counter, an aura, and an equipment) to get the ability to draw cards. I know it died right away, but steven definitely put it in his deck because he thought it said OR.
At 17:20 when Stephen attacked Jonathan and he triple Blocked Jonathan Should have had 3 Elesh Norn Triggers as two of his perminates and himself were delt damage by a source controlled by an opponent two triggers for Vorinclex and one for Doomskar Worrior Elesh Norn’s triggered ability will trigger separately for each permanent dealt damage by a source an opponent controls, plus once if you’re dealt damage by that source. For example, if an opponent casts a spell that deals damage to you and two creatures you control, Elesh Norn’s ability will trigger three times. Each of those abilities will cause that opponent to lose 2 life unless they pay 1. Similarly, the triggered ability will trigger separately for each source an opponent controls that deals damage to you or a permanent you control. For example, if three creatures controlled by an opponent block and deal damage to an attacking creature you control, Elesh Norn’s ability will trigger three times.
Just want to point out when Greene killed Corey, he did NOT have to assign 1 to the dominus, because it already had lethal damage marked on it from the fight spell :)
transforming vorinclex: "it's not getting exiled like the other ones so it doesn't get the ETB" [reads the card] "but it does exile, and then come back, so he wouldn't be able to attack with it" please just read the cards a little bit more and think about what they say
I’ve been trying to be reasonable about this stuff, but its gotten to the point where its just ridiculous now. We just taught a friend of ours how to play MTG like 6 months ago, and even she has better reading comprehension and deductive reasoning in Commander than these 4 guys + a director, who WORK WITH MTG CARDS AS THEIR JOB! At this point, I just assume they don’t care. The show used to be fun and quality. Now its just not reading cards and Corey goofing off… Damn sad to see where its ended up since Justin departed. #teamparnell
I really don't understand how none of them know what their commander's do. They all do identical things (i.e exiling when flipping). And they immediately acknowledged this a few second later on Jeremy's turn when sheoldred flipped.
As soon as they read Elesh Norn the first time, I knew they were going to mess it up. I’m still just absolutely amazed at the fact that 4 people who’s job it is to work with MTG cards AND a director, struggle SO badly every single week with reading comprehension. And as soon as anyone mentions it, apologist say ‘they’re just like the rest of us, they make mistakes’. But dude, come on. Every week? With 4 people who’s job it is to deal with these cards. AND they have a director? The rest of us don’t have all that…
I think Steven played the game perfectly politically actually. He attacked Jon after he helped, because well, he deserved it for last season. Which allowed Jermey to keep playing the game and have a chance. Then he killed Jon last which allowed him to have 2nd for helping him early in the game to deal with Jermey.
Nice to see a lot of new cards played along with the Praetors! Unfortunately it led to a lot of misreads and missplays, goes along with having an entire novel as commander, I guess. This game got weird really fast, but it was fun nonetheless.
I love when Jon says @45:38 no you don’t get to search it just transforms and but then reads the card and says it exiles itself and comes back into play but doesn’t mention he should be searching for lands
Stephen should have farmed an extra point there. Jon deserved everything he got after last season. Thank you for really dropping the volume on the music too.
I like that they didn't use Urabrask, since he's definitely the most popular member of the cycle and the Urabrask storm deck has already been played all over the place.
Honestly, playing Urabrask when someone else is guaranteed to be playing Elesh Norn seems like a bad idea. Her triggered ability doesn't play nice with his.
I hate to be a complainer in the comments, but I am finding it increasingly frustrating how often they are just not reading their cards. I know its their show, and they can play how they want, but I think it would vastly improve the quality of the show if they could make it a habit to just read each card aloud. These experienced commander players assume they know what cards do, and they are often slightly wrong. The mistakes are enough that I am routinely not finishing episodes, and this uses to be one of my most consistently watched series. Maybe the producers feel that all content is good content, and complaining comments is still engagement, but I can only vote with my views and so I personally will be taking a break from this series for a while, as the rules mistakes are very frustrating, especially when they go unaddressed.
Jon DEFINITELY deserved that backstab after that time he told Jeremy to fetch a land that would have stopped an Impending disaster, then opposition agent his fetch to steal a land so he could have a headstart after all lands would be destroyed. If that's ok, then Stephen just not killing Jeremy and swinging for non lethal damage at Jon is definitely ok.
My favorite combo to play right now is power conduit with any of the sagas. Sheoldred's first or second chapter over and over again and when you want to use the ultimate, just let it go. Constant destruction or discard and mill until i see the good stuff hit the graveyards, yeah baby
Yall should start doing a throwback episode. With hasbro printing cards at the rate of the US Treasury; we have missed out on a lot of great possibilities. While videos of new product does drive sales.. It would be a good homage of how the show started; guys playing table top Legacy.
The splicer is really cool. wish I had mommy norn because I got the precon BW deck and it has splicer, the deck is sweet Strongest deck might be Norn, coolest deck/highest power deck imo is probably Vorinclex monogreen. super cool. the henge + doubling counters and tribute new card is so awesome
I'm not even going to enumerate all the garbage that happened in this game that broke the rules. It's a losing battle. This entire game makes no sense as soon as Corey doesn't read his saga. Timetwistering himself in 2 more rounds would have completely changed the game. I will not back down on that music. Get it out of here!
Will y’all read the damn cards you play. I love watching but how do you not know what your own commander does and consistently get so many basic cards wrong
I think you guys should take a longer gap in-between the videos. A lot of the content is just the same jokes same cards same sets nothing new or interesting and things are becoming stale
@@novalga And that is honestly unfortunate for you. There are definitely other RUclips Commander players I avoid because of personality. Luckily there's also hundreds of other Commander players you can watch online!

Loose plays is a hallmark with these guys anymore unfortunately.
Cory and not reading his cards. Classic combo.

Which is funny because he read it to them he needs to make sure he actually reads the card and not just assume what it does he does that alot
When he read it wrong and no one else checked his work I was SO worried it was going to matter.
In fact, when he read it he said "or"

Yep most people I've challenged with my Elesh deck don't notice it triggers if they damage your creatures too.
As a new player, I was confused most of the time as I think a lot of cards were played wrong. A fun video regardless!

Elesh Norn pings for any of your permanents damaged. Steven would have taken 8!

I laugh so hard when Steven drew that scavenger grounds. The greatest spite against Jon ever.

Spoiler alert: it’s a storm deck
I could see urabrask getting banned
A competently made Urabrask deck can threaten lethal on turn 5. And that's not going super high powered. Most of the praetors can't deal with that.
Jeremy channeling Justin this week!
RIP those ranger class triggers, I guess :) still, well done, mr. Green!

I don't think I've agreed with Stephen's spite as much as "He deserves it" with Jon. The shoe's not always as comfortable on the other foot XD
48:45 Steven didn’t cast his free spell 5 mana value or less. Lol
Imagine John 1:13:29 drew Destroy all creatures thing that creates mites and poison Steven
Green definitely did just about everything any of the other three colors wanted to do without even trying 😂
Jhon totally deserves everything that happened to him on this game #teamParnell
We need to make a Kosei deck and submit it for Stephen Green to play #teamgreen
Why did Steven lose a life for first blood?!
Vorinclex would etb with the saga flip btw
The Antiquities War is an until end of turn effect. Corey shouldn't have lost his stuff.
Loved this episode! I love a good Green Green deck
Elesh is a Rhystic Bloody

why? when Jeremy get sheoldre in his final stage of the saga he didn't get any of the creatures in the graveyards?
All the graves got exiled by Scavenging Grounds
Wait can’t you only transform incubate tokens as a sorcery? 26:24
First mom got left for the upgrade 😂😢
When's the director gonna get a mic?
1:00:33 Lots of cards seem bad when one doesn't read them
John betrayed Stephen multiple times last season. So good to see a revenge.
maaaaaaaaan you should know by now not to deal with steven xD
Yay go Green!
Wow Stephen today is just not your day did you forget how to read magic cards incubator tokens get counters to
at 46:40 what's giving Vorinclex haste? It just got exiled then entered the battlefield the same turn right?
Jon proliferated the Saga at the end of Coreys turn, so it entered during his turn, before Stevens turn
They explain it in the video: it gets exiled and returns during the endstep of the turn before. So it wouldn't have summoning sickness or need haste.
@@jonathandias3524 aha I went back and watched it but didn't notice that bit, did he get the forests at least?
Stephen's also
how was this game only 50ish minutes long with it seemed like this entire game was board wipe tribal
Why was John swinging for 5 with mondrak. That counter is just an indestructible one not a +1 counter.
Jeremy please play Sek Kuar

34:30 how did john play both mondrak and elesh norn together for only 6 mana?
He uses nyxthos, shrine to nyx. Taps for mana equal to your devotion. Devotion was 6.
John deserved it.
Vorinclex is by far the weakest of these praetors. I think Urabrask is the strongest.

Kosei read wrong for sure
This game was board wipes city. Jeez.
John would get an incubator token with 4 counters on it and a token with 0 with anointed procession
Lowkey is Justin ever coming back?
People really need to stop defending Stephen. The spiteful chaotic guy isn't funny.
Aaaand the saga's exile themselves, whch means they dont have haste when they come back into play.
"Before the end of Corey's turn"
It was at end of turn prior. And with the exile the etb would trigger as well
I think you guys should take a longer gap in-between the videos. A lot of the content is just the same jokes same cards same sets nothing new or interesting and things are becoming stale
