I think coreys idea is so sick tho. My playgroup all made 50$ commander decks and i know cmdr vs has done budget decks before. What if u took popular and powerful commander decks and forced them budget
The elk triggers on attack too Jon did make everyone lose 3 when the ring was only on level 3. Also, Corey's just salty about losing--Eowyn is super good and I often win when I play it.
Cory's idea could work. If the cards you take out are of a higher value by $10 then the cards you put in. Downgrade a precon, so that if you were to buy the precon and sell the cards you took out, you essentially have spent $30 on a $40 precon.
The precon down grade doesnt sound that good but ultra buget week sound really fun. Bring the most powerful deck but it has to be under let say 10 dollars
The downgrade precon idea would probably be not to good but what about budget episodes with 20 40 or 50 dollars to build a deck? There's a lot of uncommon and cheap reprints that it's very doable
I've made an upgraded Eowyn deck with really leaning into the human tribal with support from enchantments like propaganda and ghostly prison to protect your life. It works really well he just really made some questionable decisions on what to cut and bring in.

paying someone to go through 1-2 hours of footage and slowly adjusting life totals takes a longgggg time , and the only benefit is for an overlay, which is really no different than irl phone. If they got 200,000 views on all their commander videos sure such expenses would be reasonable but I don't see how they could even pay minimum wage with the views they get, just for the 4 players

Can you bring back the life total and commander overaly? You can keep the phone for your own tracking, but for the viewer, its a bit small.
You can keep the new life counter but the old one as well

So....why did we get rid of the overlay again? The phone life counter gives such an amateurish feel to a show's production.

Please get rid of the phone life counter. It looks cheap and makes it difficult to see what life totals are for the color blind.
