Recipe Courtesy : • सॉस पैन(चाय दान) में ब...
Ingredients
Fine Sooji Powder (Semolina )- 11/2 cup or 21 tbsp
Wheat flour or Maida - 1/2cup pr 7tbsp
Curd -1/2cup
Oil -1/2cup
Powdered Sugar -1cup
Salt-2 pinch
TuttI Frutti -
Milk - 1 cup plus less than 1/4 cup
Baking Powder -1tsp
Baking Soda -1/2tsp
Method
Roast 1 ½ cups of sooji/rava. grind it in the mixie. And sieve it into a bowl. Add ½ cup of wheat flour. take a big bowl add curd/2 eggs , add sugar. Mix well. Whisk it till the curd is mixed well with the sugar. Add the oil to the curd. Mix well till the oil is fully mixed.add a pinch of salt. Add the rava+wheat flour mix. Mix well. Add warm milk and stir well. Almost 1 cup of milk is added. Keep it aside for half hour.Close it with a lid.
Preheat for 10 mins.grease a cake tray /align the cake tray with butter paper. Take some tutty frutty. Add 1 tbsp of wheat flour on the tutty frutty. Add ½ tsp baking soda and 1 tsp of baking powder to the batter. the batter will be thick. Now mix it with milk and loosen the batter. bring to a consistency shown at 11:05 mins. Add essence of your choice. Mix well. Taste the sweetness. Add the baking soda and baking powder, tutty frutty and mix well. Pour it to the cake tray. Keep it for baking on low to medium flame. It will take 50 - 60 mins. Let it cool . then slice it up.
