Sorry, Holyfield is absolutely a top 10 heavyweight but Bowe isn't even top 20, as his only wins vs. elite competition are against one guy. Some of it isn't his fault (he was supposed to fight Mercer until he shit the bed vs. The Boogeyman and tried to bribe him to throw the fight during the fight so he'd not lose his shot!) but most of it was his fault, whether it was ducking Lewis (Rock Newman was behind that) or fighting two stiffs in his 2 title defenses, then losing the title and never getting it back.
I love how you stay in the background, and let them talk about whatever they're going to tap about without interrupting them every two seconds. Very respectful, and the best way to get the sweetest information from them. Keep it up man!
These 2 guys are Hall of Fame ! ...I am now 55 and remember all 3 of the WARS they fought and to see them now, touches my heart, life goes by so fast !! GOD BLESS !
these are one of a kind conversations, 2 Titans of Boxing one of a kind footage. These 2 men fought wars, literally wars and the years show, but the respect and admiration is always their. The camera man kept it professional. I love these conversations.
Thank you, I've built a good relationship wth both Holyfield and Bowe over the last 3 years so its always great to listen to them and Im happy they are both comfortable enough to let me film them.
In my humble opinion, I've admired many boxers during my lifetime but Evander Holyfield gets my full and complete admiration. He wasn't the biggest in the ring nor was he the most charismatic outside of it, but it was his unmatchable heart that always inspired me. You could never count him out. Holyfield was roughhouse inside the ring yet gentlemanly outside it. The man thrice fought Riddick Bowe and twice fought Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. He accepted all challengers. Holyfield, despite the many ups and downs in his long career, appears content here. He can rest easy knowing that he was always ready like Freddy and gave 100% every single time he stepped into the ring. On the other hand, if there was a heavyweight who had the physical tools to lead to greatness it was definitely Riddick Bowe. He possessed power. Height. Reach. Quickness. A great jab. Sadly, and most infuriatingly, Bowe didn't have an eighth of the discipline and dedication Holyfield had. After Bowe put it all together against Holyfield in 1992, he, like James "Buster" Douglas, became just another heavyweight one-hit wonder. Probably one of the biggest wastes of heavyweight talent ever. Now you know Bowe's game was raggedy when the legendary Eddie Futch said it was time to bounce and got to steppin'. And, finally, you see and hear the physical toll Bowe's bizarre career has taken on him.
@@xX1ruthless4Xx Your right but they wouldn’t be considered old if they were normal guys. unfortunately all those wars in the ring accelerates the ageing process in a boxer.
We sure hope so. I met Bowe at a fight in Florida a couple years ago and he was a real gentleman. Took a bunch of pics with my friends and I. You could hear the losers talking behind his back because he's so big. I hope he takes better care of himself, he's huge and he's only 51.
LEGENDS!! It crazy, I just saw Bowe's and Holyfield's highlights on YT and it was great. Great times!! Was born in 1980 and I can say it was the best to be a kid @ that time. Loved and missed those great times!!
Love these chaps to pieces, boxing is a very dangerous sport, isn't it just great to see them like this best of friends, put a tear in my eye. THANK YOU chaps for all that you have done in the heavyweight division.🤗👌👍
I love this. Needs to definately be in a Documentary. Boxing and life has lead these two all time Great Champions to be Humble and Friends. God is good. Who wouldve thought after the first match that these two wouldve still been this close today? I believe Larry Merchant said it best when he said "These two needed each other as much as we boxing fans needed them". Thanks for the wars Champs.
Evander has to be one of the best ever. Very skilled, tough as nail, headstrong and a very smart fighter. I think he is very underrated. But he did head butt people like crazy. Also, he never fought the prime Tyson, but it’s not his fault. Seems like a great guy too. Glad he still seems in good health after a long career, unlike so many other greats.
Gabriel Martinez definitely agree with you.. But in all honesty, Bowe seems far worse in comparison to Holyfield.. I mean, while in the process of talking.. he was literally forgetting his own memories that he set years ago in his prime for himself!!!!😔 I think Bowe still believes 1-day he'll be world-champion once-again smh😁.. There are several types of Hepatitis. Hepatitis C is chronic, A and B are not. But now with new drugs even C is not chronic any more for 95% of the patients

holyfield`s advises from his mother are good, he weighed 179 pounds in the 80`s and took steroids to bulk up to heavyweight 220+ pounds later on, he had many good fights, tyson vs holyfield should have happened in 1991
Ron P; genetics, I read tyson book Iron Ambitions, he weighed 200 pounds at the age of 12 and was about 5.6, they all thought that he lied to avoid adult prison, but he was heavy as a kid and stopped growing in height after he turned 13...

88' MikeTyson very true. Tyson style of boxing was built for speed power and fast twitch fibers - to fit his short stature and arms. A style that needs dedication and constant training; and a style not designed for older fighters.

Basically we were able to catch and watch the bests of the Heavyweights talent that was spread pretty deep in the Division during the 90’s thru early 2000’s and middle up! Big bangers man a compiled list, and I’m not even putting down no names because I’d be unfair to leave a man’s name out with the long listed of mandatory must include names! God bless them all and the ones that have been called home from us,someone should gather up an event held in honor to everyone with a great barbecue and filming classic gathering event!! It would be an epic event!👍
It's good to here these old champs talking abt there fights, good laughs.
Nice to see these guys hanging out and talking junk to each other like long lost friends.
Wow. I attended Thomas Jefferson high school with Bowe.He was in a few of my class we had some good laughs together up in the lunch room on the fifth floor. Nice guy to be around with. May God keep blessing him /Holyfield/Tyson and all the Great boxers out there.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It’s really sad to see how punch drunk these two are. They are slurring their words soo bad & let’s keep in mind Bowe is only 51 while Holyfield is 56. Gotta respect every man that steps into the ring for they sacrifice a part of themselves for our entertainment.
Epic interview 👍👍
That Look Bowe gave when Real Deal said who came to NY and beat you're 2 champs, Priceless, hahahahaha
They seem like real nice guys who are friends! It’s guys like this who make the world a little better. I love to see real men who care about one another.
88' MikeTyson very true. Tyson style of boxing was built for speed power and fast twitch fibers - to fit his short stature and arms.
A style that needs dedication and constant training; and a style not designed for older fighters.
It's good to see two warriors show respect and love to one another.
