Probably the best Ryan's ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans on building a shed is hardly ever found. And Ryan takes the mystery out of different types of foundation options, etc. He even shows how to build a shed with different designs. Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.

I'm in the UK, and timber- or stick-frame homes are VERY rare here-they're 99% brick/block, or reinforced concrete. But it's fascinating to watch how quickly homes in the US and Canada go up, with much more work for carpenters. I've worked on lots of RC frame buildings by erecting formwork, but this looks FAR more fulfilling 🙏🏽🔥💪🏽📐🔨

This was a wonderful video. 2 hours!? Worth watching every minute. You all were amazing to watch. Nothing is more satisfying than watching people do what they know how to do. From the dirt to the metal top was (for the most part) one gang. AAA
Why did you all order trusses and not make them?

I hate that thin window cover plastic. I always use the thick stuff. So much easier to work with. I love the wood stairway wall. Pro tip, you can filter the paint before you spray. Does not take long if you have 2 guys filter and 1 spray. Less clogs. Or you may need a new nosel lol. Great video!

Also, an idea from Tiny Housers for Kitchen..Next to the Fridge Box, or elsewhere, install a pullout 12 to 16 inch inch closet, set on casters, on a movers dolly with 4 casters, welded or glued with PL to stay non-rotating, you can pull this out and access the shelling which is perpendicular to the front..very handy..so its an update design-wise from old kitchens..and people, as in this build, seem to prefer shelving for the more open look.

    One team does it all.
    It looked impressively good.
When installing an ondol, you must first insulate the floor.
You have to install an ondol over it.
Otherwise, a lot of heat is lost to the floor.

We truly enjoy all videos !! I was in Commercial Construction for 30 years. The foundation is one of the few things I disagree with you on. It costs nothing to bring up rebar from the footing to the block wall. It’s a pain because sometimes the rebar lands where the edge of or center of the block hits. Lay it out better or chip the block and bend the rebar over to the open cell. I don’t like a slick finish on top of the footing. I believe in a raked finish. I agree , It is easier to pop a line and faster to lay the block. The roughness of a raked finish bonds the mortar to the foundation. A slick finish will never give you the lateral strength that a raked finish does.

Congrats on all you good work while documenting it all too! Update now that I've finished: killer job! Pro Painter tip: Between all the masking time, materials (blue tape, plastic, paper), excessive paint consumption and time messing with the sprayer, plus the overspray that will still happen at least once, you are far better off to roll. I had a painting company for years, and we compared techniques and tools with stop watches on a regular basis.

For failure #1 as a structural engineer I would have provided a detail to interconnect each of the three plates to have the strength of a single 5.5" x 4.5" header which would easily carry the single roof truss, if asked. All it would require is the addition of 4" SDS screws at a specified spacing.
