This thought is originally used in INDIA from million years।
🤔 we Indian till 1900 lives in saprate house small but enough house in group called villeges।
🤔 25 crore to 50 crore INDIAN are living here from ancient time।
Like 5500 years ago there was more than 70 crore INDIAN। but then PAK BANGLADESH AFGANISTAN and some other was part of INDIA
      🤔🤔🤔
i am saying that concept of making huge city is a big problem itself for nature and economy also।
🤔🤔 Look at Delhi City it expanded after 1900 and that time river YAMUNA was drinkable, but due to govt careless it become gutter।
🤔 Second one look out China's modern cities contain world class building 20 floors, 100-100 building group and road good infrastructure। 😭 But sadly there is no job no business Chinese buy it on paper live it in on paper sell it on paper।
      They are just tool।
🤔At last everyone come to accept Indian philosophy 😀
      🙏🙏🙏
in my view almost all people should have same category house same size and technology, otherwise it make insecurity to other।
🤔🤔🤔 Today poor people are trying hard to work for paying rent and emi of home 🤔 why they purchase house bigger than savings i don't know।।

You can't occupy more than one room. Eat, Sleep, Work. & Bathe/Shit. Multi-Purpose Room. You occupy 15 square feet of space at the most. If you have a relatively small 1500sq ft house for 2 people, you could downsize 98%. People waste too much energy heating and cooling unused areas. Probably 1/4 to 1/3 of energy used for heating and cooling is used for unoccupied space. If people had human powered generators, they would appreciate how much energy is needed for heating and cooling. They wouldn't stare into the refrigerator with the door open for very long.

Scandinavian Longhouse, the English would call it a small bungalow, in Oz its just a small house but here it is just a stunning house and a sensible size which would suit many people. What a great job this lovely couple have done...Love those polished concrete floors and the timber walls. The patterns on the external wall and the internal actually look pardon the phrase "New Zealandish" for want of a better word. They remind me of Hei Tikis and totems. Heidi don't be too impatient to get those gardens going, it all takes time, its part of life. Your carrots are amazing, I've never been able to grow veges like that.. Gorgeous dog you have there.. Thanks Rasa & Bryce fantastic job as always and clever of you to continually finding something different to keep us all interested. cheers from WA ***One of the best you've shown. 💯‼️ Agreed. This “Almost Tiny” speaks to me. NOT cutting out what you need and/or want, but this home is definitely NOT including unnecessary excessive space and energy. Favorite by far.
I hope more “ Almost Tiny” is showcased more. I’m noticing the tiny homes that are built with a locked foundation (no intention to move the home) speaks directly to me. I would just build on land that I owned… because the level of options that you can have keeping it off wheels is endless. Great home, great job showcasing this lovely home.

I think? ... most of look at tiny homes as cute but not realistic or plausibly functional for today's world. This is a really smart design for minimal wasted space. Most of us are paying taxes on parts of our home that we never use. I often hear tiny home owners say, "we gave of this so we could have a larger that." This place has an amazing kitchen, entertainment area, and two decent sized bedrooms. The bedroom closet/headboard is a brilliant on another level. I laughed at Bryce's comments about the cold weather (lol) -- come to Toronto in February, but I wonder if they added (or needed?) heated floors? Congrats to Matt & Heidi on a truly well thought out floor plan that can only inspire the rest of us. Thank you for sharing with us.

I am so glad I ran across this video by accident. thier whole set up is EXACTLY what I was trying to square up in my own head for my own space. Because of the cost of homes and land I was thinking, I may have to build a smaller house in order to get the size of land I want. I thought...maybe I can have one or two separate buildings for an office, but I want the land for growing food. and this set up is perfect for what I had in mind.

This is a dream tiny home for me! Beautiful finishes and details. A huge shop/garage for my hubby to tinker in. A studio of my own to create art in. Gardens for growing yummy food. Lots of outdoor space. Indoor space to store home-canned goods. Maybe we were meant, as humans, to have separate dwellings, small in size, so we could get away from each other and then connect when we felt like it. Katherine Hepburn said something like….couples should buy separate houses and live next door to each other. I have ALWAYS ascribed to that sentiment. After 37 years, happy to see hubby…and then happy to have time apart. This is a win!

The outside land is beautiful. I love the garden area. I was raised in a 5000 sq. Ft home and it was just too big. The thing about tiny homes to me that makes it exciting is the coziness of homes and that if you have a partner or children you are forced to be with each other, not running off to hide in another wing of the home. My goal is to get an acre of land and build a retirement Small Home (not tiny) for my hubby and I and to have a garden like this one. It would be a tiny home but no lofts or stairs. It would be the size of small apt but just planned out space that just uses all the space from top to bottom. Can’t wait!

I really love seeing tours of these small homes. The limitations of a tiny house on wheels, especially how long and thin the houses have to be because of the shape of the trailer, aren't super very appealing to me personally. I would want a bit more space than the 300ish sqft you get in many tiny houses on wheels. But, I find the apartments I've lived in to be plenty large and would love to have a house with the same square footage, similiar to what you see in this house. .
