@A S Yes, you're correct. Both songs were named C'est La Vie but were completely different songs. The Bwitched version came out in 1998. Robbie Nevil's came out in late 86.

The song is about Western society's drug and sex party scene in the '80s/'90s.
The distorted body parts are pretty much what you see when you're wasted and everyone around you is hooking up all around you, just a blur of body parts.

This was quite the catchy tune and a hit for the Escape Club, but...this was their "fun" song, not their great one. That would be their hit I'll Be There, which is truly a musical/vocal masterpiece that will tug at your heart strings. The video is a dual- dimensional theatrical show, but the full version song (no video) takes you on a trrue ride through the sky,, sonically. DEFINITELY worth a first listen, or a sentimental memory. Brings a tear to my eyes every single time! Sadly enough, there is only ONE RUclips reaction to that song.
