best terraria progression guide out there. Used this to help me step by step in my first world on classic mode, and thanks to this video I can play through expert mode relatively quickly with almost no struggle.
Wow, this seems like the most detailed guide I've seen! All of that info in such a short amount of time is a tad bit overwhelming, and I may have issue remembering what items I need, but between this and looking up stuff on the wiki to help me with crafting recipes and such, this is def going to be a lot of help for my BF and I, who just started trying to figure out the game a few days ago 😁
I totally agree it is very overwhelming but remember the video is am etire playthough so take it section by section as a playthrough can last 30 hours, that was my aim too as the wiki can be confusing if you do decide to use it type class guide in the search bar! Good luck hope you two have fun!
I've watched a lot of these guys and none of them ever seem to mention this one particular thing that I do every time I start. The very beginning of any play through I do starts with the character that you're playing. All of the items equipped to you or in your inventory Stay with you when you go into any world you create. So I begin by scavenging new worlds for pyramids. I first look for a sandstorm in a bottle And a flying carpet. Pyramids are easy to find as most of the time they're sticking out of the ground or visible from the surface. As i'm looking for these pyramids i'm picking up every surface chest that I can see. A surprising amount of rope will be found and access to the sky islands are easy and safe from then on. After grabbing a balloon and horseshoe my first difficult task is getting the goblin tinkerer. Use his tips for finding him and combine all that I mentioned and your mobility is all but set up. Then you should make what I call my home world. And I make it large every time.
Yeah nothing wrong with creating multiple worlds to get geared up if that's how you want to do it! That's the beauty of terraria you can do what you want xD
Many thanks to you, i've beaten the game in my first 160 hrs gameplay with your tutorial. Also gotten the Zenith for an additional 20 hrs The only difference in my progression is that i took up a battle against Duke Fishron just before the Mech bosses to get the best Mage weapon. Now i've became an overpowered glass-cannon build Mage with a literal triangle glass cannon. Going to try the expert mode for my next playthrough, maybe i'll try to be a Ranger or Summoner next time.
Nice one that's awesome!! I would reccomend the summoner class as its so much fun and my favourite class! It's low on defence but I'm sure you have the skills to pull it off!

Absolutely loved this guide! I have about 3000 combined hours across vanilla and tmodloader with completed infernum and eternity mode worlds (masochist mode soon™), but coming back to these beginner guides makes me deeply appreciate the depth of content even the most basic playthrough has to offer. Kind of like how after working towards items like Infernum’s Kevin and Fargo’s Soul of Eternity, it’s nice to go back and appreciate crafting a platinum sword and or any tinkerer’s workshop upgrade to slowly begin triumphing over the once deadly pre-hardmode enemies. Big congrats to everyone completing their first runs btw!

Connectto a 20 x 5 workshop, then build underground, one house and one workshop consecutively downwards, mine forest biome with 3 high mine shafts extending to each bordering biome every twelve blocks down.
Thank you! Yeah it's pretty crazy! If I play modded for too long I forget how to play vanilla xD
Spawn, build 5 x 10 house for guide NPC. Connectto a 20 x 5 workshop, then build underground, one house and one workshop consecutively downwards, mine forest biome with 3 high mine shafts extending to each bordering biome every twelve blocks down. Use workshop space for chests and crafting then for grow blinkroot. Grab sand, make glass, make bottle, make bottle of water then make mining potion. Wash rinse repeat.
If i had the patience to do that yeah xD
@@misted73 It takes forever until you get the potions.
just started playing love this game so far so much more than i was expecting
This helped a lot will you do modded series like calamity and thorium for all classes like rouge, mage, melee and etc love your content
That my friend is a brilliant idea! I will definitely put that on the to do list! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos :D
You've done great job here. I didn't understand anything's going on in terraria, but because of you I understand this game now and that's one of the best games I've played so far. Lots of thanks
Glad to hear you're enjoying the game!
How did you spawn the first boss?
Crown and 20 gel at an alter will create the summon item
Or you can wait for a slime rain and kill loads of smiles. That will cause king slime to spawn
@@ZhaloSupercell1 Not sure if that works. I tried it and that didn't work for me.
@@toneon4289 if it didnt work then you didn't kill enough slimes
i was playing with a veteran friend and it was hard learning the game now i decided to do solo play by myself so i can learn the game better and this guide helped me ty sub deserved

I used to play terraria 1.2 on mobile a while ago and recently came back to the game but forgot almost everything. This walkthrough was excellent, thanks man!
i’ve commented a lot on this video but i just have to say how amazingly well done it is. This video genuinely got me through the game for my classic and now expert play through. Honestly the best help for a game ive ever had.
It means alot! Thank you so much! If you're interested it would be awesome to have you in the discord I'd love to see screenshots of what you've accomplished!

I'm coming to this video because me and a friend of mine beat the game a year or so back and I totally forgot the progression system and stuff so this really helped a lot
Nice one! Alot has changed too xD
Great informative guide. Everything i needed to learn the game while playing with my son is i here. This game is that in depth, and while he explains to me everything i should do, without visual understanding i have no idea what my son is on about, its just too much lol. So you sir deserve a sub, thank you 👍
That's amazing! I hope you two have a great time playing together! I agree there is alot to take on, I'm glad the video was able to assist your sons explanations! Good luck and thanks for the sub!
Thanks for the guide! there are a lot of guides out there but this walkthrough helps cut through the confusion of when you're ready for each boss. Thanks a ton!
You're welcome glad it was able to help!

This tutorial has really helped me out since I just started playing thx :)
Glad to hear it!
thank for all your work! I played terraria for just 2 days and was quite overwhelmed by it. I might have to look up some armor since I'd love to make a summoner, but thanks to you I now have a path that I can follow and so much more stuff I know I should do to progress.
Thank you! You're welcome I'm glad it's still helpful! I'm planning on doing a guide for other classes, I was going to wait for 1.4.5 but that looks like it's still a few months away
Thanks soo much for guide i couldnt find any new usefull guidr but this is rlly good
Awesome, I'm glad it was useful

Bro really fought every boss with 1 hp at end. Clutched every time. Respect. Subbin
I like the way you think xD I see it as lucky xD thanks for the sub mate
This was my 2nd purchased game on steam and I hope to have a lot of fun. Was so confused how everything works like I couldn't even figure out how to build a wall for my starter base and don't know how to progress later on so that's why im here. Thanks!
I also never expected to die from a fucking boulder lmao when I was exploring a cave I found for the first time
Yeah there's not much guidance within the game, it's very much figure it out as you go xD oh yeah they always get me even now xD
@@misted73 Yeah! Right now I'm making my base look comfortable then I'll start exploring to upgrade my gear 😁
@@Dom5S sounds like a good plan! Good luck!

It's going to be a wild ride then! Alot has been added xD
@@misted73 definitely , i played on mobile so i had limited things even then
@@remembertofeelreal oh damn!
I got into this game for the first time probably around 3-4 months ago and I played all the way until hard mode, I broke the altars and I just couldn’t seem to find any of the new ores so I gave up playing. But now I’m going to try and get back into the game and this video is going to be a huge help with that.
Glad you're getting back into it! Yeah hard mode can be a big struggle as it's almost like starting over! Good luck in your playthrough
I'm a new player. I tried it once on mobile years ago but I thought it sucked. Now that I have it on pc I'm loving it. This video really is helping me get startded. TY.
I have just gotten the game and started playing it with my friends and so far we only beat the eye but now ik what we need to do bro tysm
