Aliyah Boston was not the player I heard about from last year, in fact it took her 20 games to get into shape. I'm hoping she hangs with Caitlin during the off season working out and staying in shape!

Boston is performing better. Could be from being in better shape.
It's also turning out that Clark may often be more beneficial as a playmaker than as a shooter.
When she gets 12 assists that's often 27-28 points feeding those open girls who can make 3s.

CC has a mens style of playing and is exposing how the players in the WNBA doesnt have that skill set. And players in the WNBA are slow.

Yea, I think that’s why she’s more popular….gets more people watching….her style is much more exciting….the far shots,quick passes, etc. I will say….when I do see so many missed catches, or layups…..I understand the family guy jokes more now. Lol.

The Fever need a better coach, one that can work with all of the loaded egos on that team. If you actually look at the starting 5. 3 of them are capable of putting up 40 points each a night while the other 2 are able to put 20-25 a night, and the bench has 3 who are capable of dropping 30 each a night. Let Caitlin get her triple doubles, while Smith, Boston, Fagbenle, Samuelson, Hull, and Mitchell all score their 25-30 a night.

A better coach than the one that took the 5-win Fever team to 13 in her first year and by halfway through her second season beat the first .500 team the Fever had beaten in about 5 years and last Sunday beat the winningest team in both conferences the 17-3 NY Liberty?

They have the coach that works for them ! She is responsible for the improvement! You don’t fix something that is not broken . You need to learn how a team works.The players learn to play together and they communicate with coaches on any given game what is working best. The coach is new , she has to learn how each player plays and put the best group on the floor at any given time. She has a learning curve too!

She's had a year and a half to ensure that returning players like Mitchell, Wheeler, Boston, Wallace, and others know how and why to set screens, do a pick and roll, defend effectively, etc.

@@JE-IC They recently beat the winningest team in both conferences the 17-3 NY Liberty after going 6-34, 6-34, and 5-35 and not making the playoffs since 2016, before Coach Sides started this team's resurrection with 13 victories her first year. They were so lousy they got the first draft pick two years in a row.
You're talking about pro players who already know how to set screens and have been doing it for years, know the pick and roll, and play defense.
Those skills are taught in high school and before.
You're just pretending you know something.
