There's no guarantee that, three years from now, she will be even play for the Fever. Everything will depend on the next 3 years; D1 will be mostly a language issue, as will Euroleague, but Euroleague is more likely to have a team where someone, player or coach, will know enough Mandarin to help her transition to life away from home.

Do you think Ziyu would be, like, a mid-late first-rounder in the 2027 WNBA draft (the Fever made the playoffs this year, and might do so again in 2025 and 2026) and then the Fever could draft her without having to trade away a significant player, or the Fever would be ready to trade away significant pieces to move up in the draft (if she goes into the 2027 WNBA Draft as a potential first overall pick)?
Right now, the only real untradable player on the Fever is CC.
