JT, this is absolutely beautiful. Obviously, I would never condone Joker's actions (and you should NEVER do so) but this song really gets to the centre of Arthur's mental health problems - I particularly like the idea of Arthur watching his future self on stage, nice visual way of showing Fleck's emotional struggle.

When I listened to this in my car to work I thought wow I do fake a smile, often. The singer also has a Freddie Mercury quality to his voice, a pleasure to listen to.
I avoided this song until I had seen the Joker movie. And now I am glad I did. I don't think I would have been able to appreciate your performance or the lyrics of this song as much had I not seen the movie. Thank you for enhancing and completing my Joker experience.
