-- VIDEO UPDATE: Wow! This linked video by Real Alex Clark fully backs our main point of our video! Alex hosted two phenomenal Christian moms debating between homeschooling and public schooling choices. Please watch this video as a piggy back to ours for a more full picture! The Video Here: ruclips.net/video/YvqARDF_-dc/видео.htmlsi=5n_HLtS9KMPqsKwr. And thanks to Alex Clark and her team for doing a great job and bringing such phenomenally presented, vital topic to the forefront again. We felt called to make our video on this topic recently too. God seems to be making a point here about our role as parents in educating our kids whether he calls your children / family to homeschool or public school on any given year. We MUST armor and equip them! God bless!-------. Come along in the story of our homeschool and public school journey! And enjoy the Freebie- payhip.com/b/WQJG1

I love this!!! I'm shocked you don't have more views/subscribers; you're very talented at making these videos. My son has mild autism and ADHD and is very advanced academically. He went to public school for K and 1st grade which went okay and then I started exploring charters. He did a Waldorf that was a disaster then transferred to a Montessori school that didn't work out either. I pulled him out to home school this last January and I was SOOOOO committed to doing this. I loved that he could work at his own pace, get more movement, outdoor time, etc. I also think that most of the technology/screen use in public school for K-3rd graders is completely unnecessary. We were planning on doing a hybrid homeschool/charter next year that does science, social studies, art, PE, etc. one day a week and a field trip one day a week and then homeschooling with math and language arts three days a week.
My son is also a very, VERY extroverted only child. Back in Aprili my mental health took a serious nose dive and I just couldn't make it to a lot of the homeschool social events like I wanted to. I cried to my husband that we would probably need to send him back to school next year. Without knowing that we were discussing it my son came to us and said he wanted to go to the public school down the street next year like he did for first grade. We met with the principal this last May about getting more solid accommodations in place for him right from the get go. My son has made it clear that he REALLY wants to see the same kids every single day that he can also bike through the neighborhood to find them to play on weekends. My mental health is so much better now and I told my son that we could still do the homeschool/charter hybrid but he is adamant on going back to public school. I no longer see this as a failure but just doing the right thing for the season that you are in.

Hi Mary. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony! It warms our hearts to read it. We are making videos that we hope are relevant, inspirational, and maybe a little fun. Hearing stories like yours give us the inspiration to keep going. It’s a beautiful struggle we get to face daily, and nobody should feel like they are doing it alone. God bless.

If you value autonomy of schedule, control over what is taught, and an abundance of time with your kids you should consider homeschooling. It is not easy however. There will be sweat and tears haha.
