My only advice to all of those starting in this business pease please take care of your safety and your employees. I’ve done this for 17 years and we use harnesses and we make sure all of our ladders are checked and certified before anything. Good luck y’all
This is all so brilliant! Ever since I discovered how good the $ is in this industry is I’ve known I have the potential to make a decent living off it! I’ll definitely be getting your course for next season!
What are the typical months to install lights? Where I live early-mid November it’s windy and stormy. Is it better to start early and get them up for people or tough it out in those cold dark months?
Dude thank you for the comedy comparison. I sell roofs as a job and I always make this comparison and I get weird looks sometimes because people don’t get it but you gotta run that sales set over and over until it’s sharp
You can do this solo for sure. I did about 90ish houses solo in a year but after that was when I got a helper the following year cause I was swamped. Take your time, get proper gear like cougar paws for roofs. If you're scared, that's when you need to stop because that's when people get hurt. Do a ton of research and figure out all the ins and outs of it

Love it! So true
@lawn&light - how do you keep track of your holiday light inventory? Do you use a software, if so which one?
Jobber for CRM. Inventory in excel
Love the hat! Hochatown is one of my favorite places
Heck yea! Same. We try to get up there once a year. What’s your favorite place to go there?
Wish this video was made beginning of the season but all good, thanks for the info.
It was. Just wasn’t posted until the end. Time got me
I was to do a year round installation, would I want spt-2 lights? Or are they more for extended season use but not year round?
They aren’t made for year round use. Look into permanent Christmas lights. We will be doing some videos on them in the future as well
How do you come up with $7/ft? Thanks! Love the videos.
Thanks Travis. Our Local market. Your Pricing is dependent on your market.
$8-12/ft!
Any tips on doing this solo for the first year? Not a ton of experience on roofs. Worried about safety and getting on tall roofs/ 2 layered roofs
Go slow. Be careful. Develop your skill level. It’s not a race. Main thing is that you go home each day. Don’t do a job that terrifies you

@@lawnandlight Awesome! Great mindset. Would you say a ridge pro or goat is needed for solo work? If so, which one would you recommend
@bl1352 I always brought someone. You get hurt you don't want to be alone.
Thanks. So many companies do the Christmas light. Do you think is there free space for this business?
Hey Alex. What do you think
@@lawnandlight I thins now so many people are going to this business.
@Alex.BestFilmmaker Depends on your city, if it's big you're good.
How to price out trees? $30 a foot?
most companies price it by mini strand
U need a professional RUclips thumbnail designer?
I’d love that. We are on a very tight budget though. Feel free to email admin@lawnandlight.com
