@@scotttaylor5710 That's where I have seen it. It has been driving me crazy because I couldn't remember where I had seen it. 😂
@@Crossedsteve yes all the info is here in the BTS blog: home.otoy.com/roddenberryarchiveaug22/
Honestly, as much as I love watching these clips... it's absolute torture.
This is nothing short of magical.
This is my favorite of the lot! You need to turn this into a whole movie! Call the suits; cut a deal with them!
Kinda speechless wow masterwork full and absolute respect for this
Just noticed 4 others on the hilltop. This is all really well-done stuff. I'd pay to watch a full feature. It's done very, very well, and everyone can admit Trek fans are the most critical bunch.. and as one, I strongly approve of this so far. Is that winter ship the original Enterprise design sketch 22-L ? YES! That's the famous RINGSHIP XCV-330 model by Matt Jefferies!!!
@@alrightythen888 Hahahaha. Good on that kid, if he did! Rumor has it there may be an effort to Live-Action the Animated Star Trek series. If there is, and this is the result, I'm in. I've seen similar examples of Arex (orange alien (Edosian) crew member) modernized with stunning, realistic effect with period-correct lighting and uniform.
One of the cleverest sedgeways ever conceived... THANKS!!!!
This came up in my feed and it took my breath away. What am I watching here?
This was in my reccomended videos, this looks spectacular
The prosthetics on the actors playing Nimoy and Laurel Goodwin blow my mind. It's not CGI, it's amazing prosthetics.
I thought I was seeing things, but yes, did they seriously bring back the yeoman from "The Cage" for this? That's just insanely awesome.
It is CGI. Next Gen.
@@garrisoncollins6076 I had heard the makeup for the two actors was practical effects, good old makeup and prosthetics. Until you can show a reference to disprove it, that's my understanding.
@@garrisoncollins6076 Thanks, I'll check again. I've seen a few videos about it. Not sure why I thought the two actors wore prosthetics though. I know Josh Brolin had a fake CGI head on a kind of lollypop stick above his real head, so of course these would simply be CGI. Lolls.
Only the fans and the original creators know what makes Star Trek, Star Trek! This needs to be pushed into a full blown film!!! 🫡🖖
I swear it does 🖖🏾
wow, the work blows my mind, best I ever seen
Whatever this is building up to - I. Am. Here for it!!!
Is that the Yeoman from "the Cage"?
Here from the M2 chip announcement and YES. YES. YES. I have no idea what is going on but that actress and the Spock stand in are filmed brilliantly and the rendering is simply gorgeous.
outstanding... simply outstanding.
Live long and prosper my friend, we will get there eventually!
This really plays with my emotions.
0:47 For those that have had the 1980 book: "STAR TREK: Spaceflight Chronology" since childhood, it was so good seeing the USS Enterprise - Declaration Class with the two large rings. It was described as a 3.2 Warp Starliner in the book, ferrying passengers and goods between Earth and Alpha Centauri and resulted in 957 of these Declaration Class ships being built, because the demand for this travel was so high.
This is what they needed to do: a prequel TV series based in a timeline culminating in the events of ST:TMP (late 2260s - 2270s).
This is good. This is really good. Please do more.
Awesome. I immediately want to see this. Something that's missing in modern Trek.
Very cool, would love to see more. Seeing the old Enterprise on that frozen world, has to be a story there.
I figured that was the ship that crashed on Talos IV...?
@@JJROGERS41 Maybe but Talos is more a desert than anything else, we don't see grass there. I'm assuming that was supposed to be the Enterprise but who knows. Hope they do more.
Kinda like "TMP meets Bladerunner 2049". A complete overhaul of TMP in this style would be incredible!!!! OMG.
OKAY OKAY! I was thinking the same thing and WOW this!
There really needs to be a TV Series!
She was one of my favorite characters in The Cage.
Now I remember her and number 1 which is Roddenberry wife
I genuinely can’t accept how a prosthetic could be this good
This is REAL Star Trek, the way it was, the way it's meant to be...
I will pay all the money to see this as a movie.
I wish they made a Star Trek series that told hard science fiction stories that gave vibes like this and TMP.
