BUT you can't judge a book by it's cover, my dad was a wonderful guy, fun loving, friendly, charismatic and everyone loved him. Same with my mother, she was great with kids, family and friends adored her, our friends loved hanging out at our house because they were fun. BUT what nobody knew is that my dad had an explosive temper and certain things triggered him and he would sometimes beat the s**t out of my mom, for a child to witness that is so traumatizing and damaging. My mother on the other hand used to beat the s**t out of us kids especially myself and our brother, my two sisters got very little beatings but she played mind games with them. She played psychological games with my dad and us kids and the emotional abuse was more damaging than the physical abuse. No one outside of our cosy homely house ever knew, not even the family and they were close to their siblings. My parents did not even drink or do drugs, they hardly took meds for colds. Their childhoods f them up and they projected it all on us. Amber was doing the same with Johnny and he relived his childhood while being married to her. I know how one can explode when cornered after being so traumatized. I think Johnny might understand his situation, I hope so he is my age and I hope he is wiser, Amber I hope has started to work on her demons, she still seems immature to me.

I just watched a portion of her testimony from today. Day 2, and I love that small half smile he gave her when she left the stand! She is definitely his rock in life and he’s also important to her. My mom was a mean drunk and my dad was rarely home because of his career (both long gone now whew!) so my brother and I had each other just like those two did. My late dad and late brother once told me many years ago I was so aware of my mom’s personality and behavior that that was my saving grace, that I’d never be like her no they were both right. I’m nothing like her so I completely understand what she meant. Children who grow up better people than a parent are valuable members of society, and look at how many people Johnny supports and takes care of…even Heard’s family. I cannot stand her! What she’s done to him is so egregious that it makes me feel she’s a sociopath.

Your statement implies only "a new model wife" could cause such chaos. If he left Vanessa, for good reasons that others have suggested, for an older woman, that wasn't a model, and it ended up the same way, then by your own logic it wouldn't be because of his selfishness, just bad luck. Bad luck applies the "young wife" way, too, only people that hold high value in vanity would suggest otherwise. Heard may look good, but it has been established that early on in the relationship there were arguments, if he was with her for only looks he could have left, but he has stated he remained with her due to love.
What a contrast, Herds Lawyers painted him as a spouse who physically and mentally abused his wife, takes copious amounts of drugs and shits himself. His sister states he is a kind gentle loving doting father.
I don't understand the judge objecting to Johnny's sister testifying that she never witnessed him hit Vanessa. Every time the lawyer tried to approach the question in a different manner the judge objected. Unfortunately, I don't see the trial going in his favor. Despite being a rich well known white man, even he will most likely not get the justice he deserves.
His attorney is the problem. It’s his job to choose questions that won’t be objected to but it’s like he’s not even prepared. I was looking forward to this because rich people always have incredible attorneys but this guy doesn’t seem sharp.

Walking away was not the answer. Depending on your age, you may not know that Amber Heard and her "friends" were continuously posting about this situation publicly on social media. Depp has lost income due to Heard whereas she has allowed to keep her source of income. Heard is continuing down the "battered woman" path, they both work in HW, and she is being believed, by taking it to court he gets a chance to prove and have it on official record that her evidence is false and that he is the victim. People will be more willing to hire him again knowing they can promote his survival from domestic abuse, audiences would be more sympathetic. Even with tons of evidence out there freely to view, many have not seen it, and most mainstream media outlets are only voicing Amber Heard's side. It boils down to perception, Depp is at an age where there is not enough time to just let it go, his kids are also being affected by it. Heard got 7 million, which she said she would donate as she never wanted Depp's money, and on a TV show claimed she already had, but not a penny has been donated, and may never get donated. They both are messed up people, but at least one of them tells the truth as far as the evidence, Heard has been caught in so many lies.
