Great work Dominic. Love the pano and really enjoyed the little timelapses thrown in there as well. You did really well at that location as the trees are quite thick.

Thanks Richard 🙂👍. Yeah, the pano came out better than I thought it would while I was out in the field. Had to put a bit of an exaggerated bow in the Milky Way arc, but I like they way it framed the building in this case anyway.

Amazing, what program you use to stack foreground with sky,and cut background beetwen the trees :)

Thanks a lot! Main programs I'm using here are Rawtherapee for RAW processing to TIFF and then Affinity Photo for doing the stacking, masking, compositing & touch-ups. The sky in this image is a 3 panel panorama which I created in Hugin.

Another great video and great outreach job. I do not understand how this platform does not promote and make this type of content more visible and yet garbage is very common. Greetings and keep it up.

Thanks so much, really is a great source of motivation to hear others enjoy watching and get something from my videos. I've wondered the same about what material gets promoted on the platform, it really is one of the poorest of all social media in my view in regards to the suggested media it pushes. Just so much garbage as you say that going off the content I view and create has no interest for me. I've seen several of my favourite solo content creators just get burnt out and give up because it demands so much if you wish to grow your channel.
Anyway, knowing that and knowing I have zero chance of keeping up with what the platform requires to grow, I'm happy just to stay small and use it to publish my content and interact with like minded people like yourself. Some incredible content on your channel to btw, thanks for watching 🙂👍.

Thanks Dwyane, was really great to get out again. Definately a juggling act with weather, work and family commitments. Think we are due an hour or two of clear skies this weekend, though will likely be restricted to lunar photography with a near full moon all night. Thanks for watching as always!

great vid, lovin the content, I’m on a Mac and I’ve tried to stack my sky frames in starry landscape stacker, but that program uses tif files, and then I don’t know how to open a tif in photoshop to blend my foreground and sky shots together…. any ideas?

Thanks John, great to hear you're getting something from my videos 🙌. Tif is definitely the best format to be working with for best post processing flexibility. I must be one of the few landscape astrophotographers that doesn't use Adobe products at all, so not sure I'll be much use to you here. Most programs will have an "open file" option from under the file menu. This doesn't exist in Photoshop on the Mac?
