I like that the rear wiper is hidden on the RX. Cleaner look. I would like to get the RX, but I’m unsure about the smaller engine with turbo now. Simple is better when it comes to longevity. The six cylinder was a great engine. Your NX is beautiful. Love that it’s got all options. Should serve you well for a long time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Very helpful!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I actually don’t mind the engine on the new RX but I definitely prefer the smoothness of the hybrid model. But they are all good choices.

Awesome! Cadmium was actually my first choice but I’m very happy with Ultra Sonic Blue.

Great looking car Kenny! I just bought an Iridium premium+ with Gregory at NP and I absolutely am loving it. You’re absolutely right though they are both great cars and either will make their new owners very happy. First Lexus for us and likely not going to be the last. Thanks for your videos, I watched several when deciding on the RX and you’re right Iridium is the best looking color on these models. Keep it up !
I’m still waiting for my NX Fsport 350 like yours since early last year. Eventually I changed the order to the 2023 with all the options including digital mirror and ML sound system. The order was updated in early Nov. Now I’m being told that due to the ML system there’s a bigger chip shortage for that option at the moment. BTW mine will be in Cloudburst Grey with the red interior. If you are aware of any new delays I would love to hear back. Otherwise.. I will just keep waiting and waiting. 🙁

Amazing vehicle. I was used to my ES300h and swore I would never buy an suv. I was lucky enough to jump into this NX when the other person backed out!
A plug-in is the best for me as of now, but I never thought my dealer would ever get any and the more I drive the NX the more I love it.
Just over 1000 miles and same gas from the dealer when I picked it up!

Keep ur blue car. U are still young, you’ll have plenty of years yet to attain ur dreamy silver car. ur blue car is a wonderful car. Drive it another few years and then move up to the RX model. You have many happy driving years ahead of you. Sincerely......

I also have a 2022 NX 350 Luxury package in atomic silver. It’s a beautiful car without a doubt however I’m not a fan of the twin turbo engine and how loud it is when you accelerate. I almost opted in getting the new 2023 RX500H but very disappointed that none in the state of WA have mark levinson or a 14in screen. The one I had ordered was a rx 350h luxury fully loaded but I can’t justify the decrease in performance. Just wasn’t worth it for me anymore. So for now staying with my NX until a fully loaded RX500H somehow arrives to WA and isn’t taken by someone else already 😅
I don’t like the HUD dependent buttons. Otherwise it’s beautiful Kenny. Great tips as well..can’t believe it’s been a year.. I have Atomic Silver 2022 RX.

A great review … thanks! As to your question about which one … the NX or RX, I like both for different reasons. Actually because of that we have an NX and an RX. My hubby drives the 2020 NX300h most of the time. And since he usually travels solo for longer distances, the smaller NX hybrid is perfect. And I usually drive the larger 2022 RX350L. We wanted a vehicle that would be large enough to carry our “kids” .. 2 large German Shepards plus any luggage, groceries, etc. So the RXL handles that with ease. So when it’s time to upgrade (we bought and didn’t lease) we’ll probably go with another NX hybrid and transition to an RX hybrid as well. Of course I also have my eye on the RZ450e 😬. Oh and we seem to have the same taste in LV Carryalls … I have the same👍

Excellent review! I am an NX350h owner- waited 6 months for it but have aq 450 F Sport Plug in In that blue on order. That blue with black accents is just bad ass IMO. One question that I have yet to find the answer for is the suspension of F sport versions of the NX lower than non F-Sport? I think I have read where it is but I dont know. I think that my mods when When I get my 450 F sport is to lower it like 10 mm and add 10mm spacers to each wheel. Low long hood mean front grill... Anyway great review love the RX comparison- it looks amaazing but I like the smaller nimbleness of the NX
Nice NX.. I have a quick question. do you know if the right hand drive Japanese Lexus NX has an English option ? I mean can the infotainment and digital dash language be changed from Japanese to English ?
One of the facts is if you look clearly at the quality the Japanese version will have the better quality

If you turn off the NX350 after driving in Sport plus mode does it default to normal or eco or will it stay in the mode you were using before stopping the car?
Kenny, I have the 23 NX 350 FSport. Do you use the Digital Key? I want to use it however, there’s a message on the dash that reads “A New Key has been Registered Contact Your Dealer for Details”. Does that message go away at some point?
so the car only have the feature for apple? if you have a android phone can you still go wireless
I thought i saw one video of someone being able to move there back seats meaning open and close from the infotaiment system, maybe i was wrong or a button on the back that would do it automatically and not manually.. maybe i am wrong. my wife has it in black i love driving it but i always drive it in eco mod rarely in sport..
The option to move the seats from the screen is typically only available with cars that have power folding rear seats or luxury package.
I like The RX better, specially the 500h f sport in white exterior and red interior.

I don’t feel much turbo lag and it seems pretty smooth

I’m hoping that the rotor’s & brakes on the Rx500F-sport will directly fit on the NX F-sport the rotors and the brakes look way too small with 20 inch rims on the NX plus do you know if the RX 500 can be ordered with Red Calipers, I see NX F-Sports all day long on RUclips from Japan with Red Calipers from the factory
Really? That’s interesting you mention, I was looking into replacing rotors to sport drilled ones with speed masters red rear calipers, front ones I haven’t found available yet. I’m waiting.

I will never buy a Lexus that only offers run flat tires because they are terrible. Owners have reported the bumpy / noisy ride. Run flat have no flex in the sidewalls. That is why you can drive at least 50 miles with no air in the tires at a max speed of 50 miles per hr. What a bad move by Lexus taking away the best available ride and noise comfort on a so called Luxury brand. As of 2022 they are no longer a luxury brand when they put run flats on all their vehicles. 👎👎👎👎 I now will never buy Lexus until they install quality tires for a quality ride. Should be using Michelin regular tires. A no brainer.

Was only available in Smog compliant states i.e. Calif & Florida....and then VERY very Limited, so econ 101 makes this car go up in price (if you can find one!, especially the "F" Sport 450h+).
Unlike 98% of vehicles where you loose your Proverbial when you drive them off the lot. So, " ~*~*~*RUN Do-Not walk to the NX 450h+ "F" Sport! ... . I own the Lexus 2022 450h+ F sport. Elegant and refined!.....Note the Heads Up display on the windshield W/8” & 14” Info on Dash board with Crystal Clear display on both, alone makes the Lexus better........Mine is In Atomic Silver Glows in the Sun Light with Lil" grey / Gold metal flake" and same Circut Red interior.. but with Electric battery...Has 306 Horse power 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (Via Road and track at drag strip!.) ** BIG NOTE: This model DOES- NOT have a TURBO...But rather, a Naturally aspirated / Carb...........(important because it is well known that TURBOS stress engines)...SEE: ruclips.net/video/_xYnXRqheoI/видео.html ...ON Turbo issues = Very Bad!..... I use Electricity exclusively non combustion! Has ALL Nice Carbon Fiber on ALL interior some have Piano Black i.e. Center Consul arm rests dash board & rear center heater consul between seats. ** Don't mind at all making these kind of upgrades as when you drive off the lot and your * Car, Note: As this particular vehicle goes UP IN VALUE: do you know of ANY other vehicle that will Go UP IN Value today??? MY 450h+ has gone up in value $17K at this writing!. FAR better built than Euro's (mine built in Japan) sadly, new releases are now being made in Canada! Canada is Union Shop, Like USA Union shops...no one gets fired.... for a hang over and bad work??? maybe)..... However, Lexus is Far more reliable...Far better Re-Sale that Euro beemers or mercedes (Check Engine Light Gucci headache) .!... IF YOU CAN FIND ONE ANYWHERE do grab it!......"econ 101 / Supply & Demand" .....Has (3) elec. motors gett'n 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (road and track) HIGH torque QUICK out of Hole!......~*~*Never EVER have I used gas * but highly comforting to have the option..... gett'n 47+ miles per 120 Volt charge (real world driving my experience.)....Almost Silent operation in elec....So do your research, PLEASE......as this is Far better than any European beemer, mercedes and korean etc. All those are depreciating the moment you drive off the lot & simple oil change / maintenance are extremely costly. The aforementioned Euros …....And are UNRELIABLE and get BAD Gas Mileage to say nothing of the: GAS HOG unproven G 70, & RDX not worth mentioning. Z Best of the BEST F Sport 450h+ ! ….One more thing, Jus' a heads up!......My wife drives the RX 2020 model...Consider putting Michelin's at $1000.00 0n / @ ebay deal is out the door and balanced......... on your NX 450h+ F Sport............ replace the Idiot Run Flats that the dealer wants a $1200.00 extra for warr because like me, You WILL eventually get a flat and the Run your WALLET Flats are required to replace??? are you freak'n kidding????....Michelin's primacy same size &......Far and away EVEN a much smoother ride, Shissh, Do Not tell my wife ...even smoother than her 2020 RX 350....because My "F" Sport has the added "Adaptive Suspension" along with lower center of gravity because of Large battery centered Low...+ Soft no roll stabil ride, Much better ride than the HARD Run Flat Bridgestones that come stock. I Carry a Batt. quality inflator ( DeWalt 20V MAX Corded/Cordless Air Inflator ) and string tar impregnated rope insert-er and Do-Not wait for AAA. Consider Use in Only Plug -in and a Hybred NOT a All electric Automobile!.........Using All electric YOU MUST consider YOUR Consider all the above insight, using a Credit Card to Open doors, start the car and monitor via phone app... & and You WILL Have the Best of the Best in the Lexus 450h+ “F” Sport and reflect having a Sophisticated, Elegant & classy platform as well! This vehicle has gone up in price approx. &17K+ at this writing, since I bought it! @ that increase in value what is the downside?
