You should get an award from Lexus for the deep dive videos! I am waiting for my new RX to be delivered and now I have an idea of where to start. I will be playing you video many times to set up everything.
Thank you for this site. The 2023 is so difference from the 2021. I was totally lost when the techs at Lexus gave me a quick run through of setting of the phone. This site makes everything so much easier. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm so glad! I know there is a lot to learn, but hopefully you will really love all of the new features and capabilities. Thanks for tuning in with me!
I have never seen a better Lexus explanation video on any platform like TikTok, RUclips, etc. I fell in love with you right away (very beautiful, technically knowledgeable, and everything is explained very well). Perfect! Thank you very much.
Absolutely Amazing, better than reading. This is a movie manual. Totally recommended and thank you for taking the time, and I understand why dealer don’t have the time to explain everything, too much to go into.
RX500 here........ Turn off driver monitor alert is probably the best part of this video. Mine was going off nearly every time I drove....... while my head was looking forward. I always keep the other alerts on. Thanks for making these videos!
I just love this - I watched all 4+ hours (part 1+2) at 75% speed and wrote down a notebook full of stuff! I filled a notebook !! LOL. I just wanted to know everything and this was just perfect. Great presentation - excellent detail. Just the best. I'll bet I can now show my local dealer more than they can show me! We pick up our RX this week.
You are amazing!!! Thank you very much for your kind comments and support! I love that you got so much help from my tutorials! That makes my day! Congratulations on your ne RX!!!
Picked up my 2024 RX350h yesterday at Lexus of Madison. They did a great job. I told the tech person, Jordan, that I had watched your videos. He said he watches them to and shares the link with customers. You do a wonderful job! I’m rewatching some segments now as there is so much to learn!
Just brought my new baby home today and this has been an incredible help! Thank you for such an in depth, comprehensive video! Saving to my favorites for future references🥰
Wonderful videos Melissa. Taking delivery of our first RX next week. Your information is explained so well. I am sure we will be referring to it many times over the next few weeks. Thank you! 🇨🇦
Melissa, I watched part 1 and part 2 - this was incredibly helpful to better understand all of the available features in addition to my technology specialist when I picked up by RX. Great job showing the differences on different RX models and h compared to F-sport too.
Picking up my RX next week. Wow! So much customization available. Overwhelming! I certainly appreciate your videos. I’m sure I will be coming back to view them often. Thank you for providing the chapters. There is no way the dealership could cover all of this and have a customer remember more than about 5% when they pick up their new vehicle.
Thanks so much for you comment! Congratulations on your soon to arrive RX! That is so exciting! I'm happy to help you learn all about it. And you are absolutely correct. It is not possible to absorb all of the information in one sitting. I'm really glad you like this format and the chapter index. It's comments like this that really make my day!
I am getting the hybrid. I will pick it up next week in Madison Wisconsin. Then I will drive it home to Southern Illinois. I will report back to you on how I feel about the power. I’m coming out of an ES350 with a six so I’ll have a good comparison.
@@Ray_Here I currently have a very clean 2003 GS 430/ burgundy with 168,000 on it and I would love to get a RX350H to go with it. Looking forward to your review 👍
Drove the 350h about 350 mi. Very impressed. The engine revs a bit loudly, if you tromp on the gas pedal. Otherwise the engine noise isn’t noticeable. My daughter has an Acura RDX turbo 4. The 350h is no louder than that. Though I will admit that the RDX has a more throaty sound. I bought the premium+ model, options including the 21” wheels, and the convenience package. It gets me everything I want without moving up to the luxury model that adds things I don’t care about. I highly recommend the convenience package. It has the drive assist functions which I found to be really good.
Hi! Yes, because the Lexus NAV is cloud based it will monitor traffic conditions and show traffic information on the screen without needing to add a wi-fi hotspot account. Thanks for checking in with me!
Great presentation. No way to remember all in video, so will be rewatching it for many years to come. Yes..Lexus needs to give you an award and they should also require the dealer sales people watch your videos.
Great detailed instructional video. This helped me more than going through the owner's manual......which I will still review. Loved the Advanced parking section! Thanks!!
This (and part 1) was extremely helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. I did have one question (and I think the answer is no but wanted confirmation). It looks like there are no split screen options any longer? I would love to be able to show navigation, radio and one other function simultaneously on screen.
Hi! Thanks so much for your comments. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. You are correct that the new Lexus Interface system does not currently offer a split screen view. However, many people have suggested it and a lot of us have shared that information with Lexus. We hope it could be added at some point with an OTA. Fingers crossed!
Eventually, I would like to update the deep dive. Especially since we have the new customizable multi-information display on the dash. I'm not sure how long it will take me so you may want to check this out in the meantime: For 2025 the RX has received a new Customizable 12.3” Multi-Information Display. Enjoy this tutorial from the introduction of that feature: ruclips.net/video/H5lbHZAmDSs/видео.html Thanks for being here!
Hi, great tutorial. Need help with the rear hatch. I push the lock button but it just beeps and doesn’t close and lock. How do I set it to close and lock?
Hi! The Walk Away - Close and Lock button, requires you to have the car off, all doors closed, no other keys in the vehicle, then when you hear the beeps it means it is in stand by mode. You have 30 seconds to gather your things and then walk away for it to close and lock. If you do not walk away it will cancel the procedure. I hope this helps. This is the link for the section in Part 1 of the Deep Dive where I show that: ruclips.net/video/ToLr5nIPVIo/видео.html
Yeah. That's a tough one. The previous versions of onboard NAV just can't keep up with the speed of updates most customers request. The older systems updated once per year through service, the Gen 10 & 11 NAV systems used Dynamic NAV and have a cloud connection, but it only updates twice per year and it doesn't store the information in the maps on the vehicle. It is just an overlay of information. Since most people are pushing for their car's infotainment system to operate like a smart phone, it seems like the cloud connected maps are the way to go for now. Thanks for being here.
I ordered a new 2024 RX450h+ last October. It is scheduled to arrive mid February, I can't wait!! Watching these videos have been very, very helpful and informative. Will there be any new videos pertaining to the features of this new plug in RX model? Thanks again.
Hi! I am working on a lot of different videos for everyone right now and I do have a PHEV video on the list. It will not be a deep dive specific to the RX plug in, but will apply to multiple PHEV Lexus models. I'm not sure how long it will take for me to get it finished, but I am doing my best to get time to film and edit once we slow down a bit from the year end sales event. Thanks for your understanding and congratulations on your new RX!
Thank you so much for your reply. It must be an awful lot of work on your part to put these together. I must say they are exceptionally well done. I will be reviewing them several times to become familiar with so many features. Thanks again and I will wait patiently. 😂
This was a great video! I showed this to the technician when i bought mine as it had information he didnt know about! My question is: Is there an easier way to go from Android Auto back to the Lexus interface with a voice command or steering wheel option? Clicking the apps then Lexus takes a bunch of time and i feel distracted while doing that.
This is such a great question! Until Android adds the ability to keep the Lexus menu open alongside the Android Auto screen, the best thing is to use a voice command specific to what you want to do or see. You can say things like, "Hey Lexus, show map." "Hey Lexus, show my radio favorites screen." Then you can go back to Android Auto with "Ok, Google, launch maps." Or, "OK, Google, launch Spotify." If you don't want to use the wake phrases you can always press and release the voice command button on the steering wheel instead of saying "Hey Lexus" or press and hold that button instead of saying "OK, Google." I hope this helps! Thanks for being here!
Hi! Yes, you can mirror for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but only with compatible apps. RUclips and other visual video based apps are not compatible for screen mirroring since the screen is there to support the driver with items they will use while driving. I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in!
Hi Melissa , your informations will help me a lot for starting use my RX 450h +, that I will get next week, best regards from Czech republic, thank you
That is great news! Congratulations on your new RX450h+ We still don't have the PHEV version of the RX here in the US yet. I can't wait to see one. Enjoy it and thanks for tuning in with me to learn all about your new RX!
hey Tomy - I'm from the Czech Republic, too. Got 350h. Just curious, does your 450h+ reset the driver alert notification and excess speed warning settings each time you turn the car off? Mine just doesn't save these settings. I've read that this is by design due to EU regulations. Drives me crazy
just finished both part 1 and this part 2. Lexus should really be including these tutorials in their user's manual, and giving you credit. Thank you so much. I have 2 follow up questions if you don't mind: 1, is it possible to customize the shortcut menu? I'd like to add settings that I frequently change 2, related to #1 - I live in the EU, and the crazy regulations here force cars manuf. 2023 and later to reset driver alert and excess speed notifications. I have to go into the menu and toggle these off each time I start the car : ( the car makes multiple and constant beeps when driving slightly above speed limit it reads, and it doesn't always get the right speed limit due to various conditions
Hi! So glad you're here and learning with me! To answer your questions. 1.The Shortcut Menu is not customizable, but there is a Frequently Used section in the first field on the first page when you open the menu. Hopefully that might help. Also, if you have a HUD, there are some customizations for those touchpad buttons on the steering wheel and what they control. Depending on what you're trying to do, you might like to customize those. 2. Check in the settings for RSA (Road Sign Assist to see if it will allow you to have a visual only alert in the EU. I'm not sure if they offer that there or not. Thanks so much for tuning in!
Hi! I sure wish we could do that. The wallpaper customizations in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for wallpaper are nice additions, but the Lexus screen can only be in light or dark mode. Maybe they will add that at some point. The screen is so big that it would be nice to have a cool graphic behind the feature buttons. Thanks for tuning in with me!
Great video, very informative! Out of curiosity, do you know where the recording from traffic jam assist is stored? Also, can the recording be on at all times as it would with a drive recorder?
Thanks so much! I'm so glad to have you here. Here's what is states in the Owner's Manual: "When recording is approved, the system records images of the area around the driver in certain crash or near crash-like situations, such as an SRS airbag being deployed or the vehicle hitting an object on the road." So it is only recording under certain potential crash conditions. If you see the red light flashing then recording is in progress. If the red light is steady on, then it is ready to record. Data from those recordings would only be able to be accessed through legal proceedings like a court order. They would direct the dealership to obtain an encrypted file and Lexus would assist in accessing the information. The Pre Collision System data works in the same way. So this footage is not something that you can review like a dashcam. I hope this helps to explain it better.
I am so glad I found this channel. You are amazing .. I just got my new Lexus RX 350 premium plus and learned so much from this. And not so much from tech team at dealership. I have 2 questions.. 1. I setup my work address. How do I tell Lexus to navigate to work. 2. I just put it gas for the first time since I got car 2 weeks ago and every time I fill up I like to restart mpg. How do I do that on this new interface ?
Hi! Congratulations on your new RX! I'm glad to help you get to know all about it. 1. Watch this section to learn how to set your Home/Work address. It must be done in the Lexus app. Then you just say, "Hey Lexus, get directions to Work." Or "Hey Lexus, go home." 28:27 How to save Home location - Lexus App* 2. Most of the recalculations are done automatically now. You can reset Trip A or Trip B with the ODO/Trip button: This is from Part 1 of the Depp Dive, it may help: 50:27 Odometer/Trip Meter Thanks again for tuning in!
I owned a 2015 RX350 and was able to scroll thru my Sirius favorite channels from the steering wheel. I just purchased a 2024 RX450h+ and there are more many more features I am still getting used to but I cannot figure out yet how to scroll these favorites as before. Is this something I can accomplish or do we have to have the favorites shown on the screen and touch the screen instead. Thanks
Good question! I had a 2017 NX200t and could scroll thru Sirius from the steering wheel, like you. However, on the 2024 RX350h, I can't do that. However, I CAN use the right and left arrow buttons < > on the RIGHT side of the steering wheel and skip to the next station. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the next station will be. I guess I could order them and then memorize, but that seems like a lot of trouble. Right now, I'm going into the Music screen, selecting the Radio-->SiriusXM and then just using the touch screen to change the station. However, this interferes with Android Auto or the Lexus navigation. I can't seem to display both screens at the same time. It's either/or. OR, I can see the Navigation on one screen in Android Auto and the last station played on SiriusXM, but I can't seem to change the stations in that mode.
I FOUND IT!!! Do the following: PRECONDTION: You have to save your SiriusXM channels as favorites from the Music screen PRIOR to doing this work-around. 1. On the LEFT side of the steering wheel, use the 4-arrow pad. 2. Navigate left or right to get to the Music/Media section on the driver side screen. 3. Once in the Music/Media section, press the 'OK' button in the center of the 4-arrow pad to select Source. 4. Select SiriusXM. 5. You should now see all of the channels you previously marked as 'Favorites' from the SiriusXM section of the Music section and you can use the up and down arrows on the 4-arrow pad on the steering wheel to navigate to the channels. It's not like it was, but at least this gets you so you can navigate to your channels via the steering wheel.
Hi! SO glad you all are helping each other! Love that! Similar to the previous models, there are arrows on the steering wheel that will move you through your radio favorites after you save them, but those same buttons can also Seek for the next station so it can be confusing if you press and hold or if you haven't saved favorites yet. Thanks very much for being here.
Thank you, I have viewed this several times and I will be picking up my 2024 RX h soon. For me, my ecosystem is Google, RUclips, Pandora Spotify and Google Maps. I’m not going to use CarPlay. I don’t see the value. I have used CarPlay before and it’s pure Apple (I’m probably missing something on that). I just want my Lexus Sound System for my non-Apple apps, just like I do on my 2018 RX 350.
Hi! Apple CarPlay is just the name of the mirroring feature that allows content from your iPhone to show up on the vehicle's screen and allows you to interact with those features with voice command and via touch screen on the RX. There are many compatible apps. If you have an iPhone and want to use Google Maps, then you will be connecting through Apple CarPlay so it can show on the car screen. Pandora and Spotify are also compatible apps and work really well through Apple CarPlay on the vehicle. If you don't want to use Apple CarPlay, you can select to have a Bluetooth only connection for your phone, but then you will need to use the Lexus navigation system or only hear the audio from the Google Maps app through the sound system. I hope this helps explain it a bit more for you. Thanks very much for being here!
Security sensor from quick access menu is actually a very important feature. I don't have it greyed out and I have to turn it off everytime when I park in our foldable 2 story parking. Otherwise the car starts beeping loudly and blinking whenever my neighbor moves the parking up or down waking everybody up. It switches on automatically in each drive session.
Hi! I would love to get some feedback from you about how you are able to see the icon highlighted. Everything I've tried, it stays off. Would you mind letting me know the steps you use so I can look into it more? Thanks so much!
Hello there, last week I traded my 2024 Honda Pilot Elite for a 2024 RX350 AWD Luxury, sort story, only used the car for long trips, the Pilot seat is like flying Frontier after a couple of hours, at least for me, this one is a lot better. Now the question, the pilot had this feature that if you walked away from it with the key it would fold the mirrors and close the car automatically does the RX have the same walk away feature by any chance?
Hi! Unfortunately we don't have a auto locking feature on any Lexus models. But if you have the Auto Folding mirrors turned on and you touch the indentation on the front of any door handle, the RX will lock and the mirrors will fold in. But you do have to lock it by touching the indentation on the door handle with the smart key in your hand, pocket or bag. Thanks for tuning in and hope you will enjoy your new RX!
This is the most amazing tutorial ever! Thanks for your expertise. I do have a very important question. I pick up my ‘23 RX350h in 2 days and ordered an activity hitch for my bicycle and it came in without one😢 My dealership (Hendrick) in Kansas City cannot tell me IF one can even be installed when you have the rear kick door option which I have. I would appreciate any input from you on how I go about getting one installed.
Hi! Congratulations on your new RX350h. I'm sorry the accessory Activity Mount didn't come on your vehicle. UPDATE: It seems that in the past, the activity/tow hitch and kick sensor would conflict with each other and only one could be installed on the car. However, now some models are compatible, depending on the build and other equipment on the car. Looking in the instructions on TIS (the Service team at your dealership will have access to this also.) It looks like it is possible to have both, on some but not all RXs. It can depend on how the bumper and structures connecting to it are built at the factory. RXs not compatible for the hitch are: 1) TOW HITCH Cannot be installed on CBU vehicles. All 9401 and 9402 model codes with a VIN starting with a "J" are affected. Please confirm VIN applicability before moving forward. They will need to check your VIN and then see if it is compatible. If it is, then they can follow the instructions for the installation. I hope this helps. This is outside of my training so I'm doing my best to point you in the right direction. Make sure to confer with the Service and Part team at your dealership as well. Thanks again.
How does lane tracing differ from lane departure? Also, I commend you on these videos. Very impressed. I can imagine you were exhausted by the end of it.
You're so sweet! They are a labor of love for sure LOL. Think of Lane Departure Alert as the first stage of the lane monitoring system. If you start to leave the lane without your blinker on, you will get a visual and the audible alert. The Lane Keep Assist kicks in, that will give more of an alert and nudge the steering wheel in the right direction. Lane Trace Assist requires Adaptive Cruise Control to be on and set. It can "trace" off of the car traveling in front of your car. This is really helpful in heavy traffic or if the lane markers can't be well identified. I hope this helps. Thanks for being here.
Hi. Thanks for tuning in. If you have the HUD, there is an Audio Power "button" with the controls on the left side of the steering wheel. But you can always just use the main Audio Power/Volume dial to turn the system off or on, just press. :)
Hi. I noticed when using navigation via Apple CarPlay, the ETA on the multi-media display is fixed on military time (all my settings on both my car and phone is set on standard time) and can not be changed to standard time. I called Lexus and they couldn't figure it out, any clue if it can be set to standard time? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for checking in about this. Apparently it is some sort of bug between the two systems (Apple CarPlay and the new software for the Lexus head unit) and how they communicate the ETA calculation. It's my understanding that Lexus is working to identify if the fix will come from Apple or Lexus or both. I don't have an eta for when that will happen. For now, when you are prompted for phone related updates or vehicle OTA notifications, just make sure to do them and eventually one of them will contain the bug fix. (So the Maps app, iOS, etc). I'm sorry I can't pin it down more for you, but hopefully this will at least solve the mystery.
Hi Melissa, thank you for your videos. If you can present a little more information about traffic jam assist and adjustment, my tech at diler don't have experience with that future.Thank you
Hi! Once we have more vehicles with Traffic Jam Assist that are approved for demonstrations, I would love to film more about it. At this time, almost every car we have coming in is pre-sold and I am not able to drive them. In general: The Drive Connect subscription is required, Driver Monitor must be included on the car (the alert can be turned off, but the car must have the monitor), TJA only works when you are below about 14 mph, with Adaptive Cruise on and set and only on some HD mapped highways. Make sure that "Extended Resume Time: I mention is turned on. When it can engage it will, otherwise it will not be accessible. I hope this helps. Thanks for being here!
Does the RX350H illuminate as you approach with a key fob in your purse? I can't seem to figure out how to do make this happen. My other car automatically illuminated every time the key fob was near and I loved that feature.
Hi! The welcome lights are linked to the Door Mode for your interior lighting. Make sure to look up by the dome lights and press the "Door" button so that when you open a door the interior lights turn on. Also, keep your headlights in the Auto mode. Then when you approach the vehicle with your smart key, the welcome lights will turn on. :)
HI, This tutorial is so helpful! My tech contact at my dealership was a complete fail! Thank you very much for the time you put into this, it was very helpful content! I do have a question that I can't seem to find support on. When you use the Lexus integrated voice commands, the volume of the media will automatically "turn down" to give Hey Lexus the opportunity to hear what you are saying and you the opportunity to hear the answer back without your media volume (great feature). However, this does not do the same when using "Hey Siri", my music will not turn down to allow Siri a clear sound to hear my commands and even worse, I can not hear what Siri says back to me. In all of my other vehicles, when using my Hey Siri feature the volume on the music will almost mute to allow me to hear Siri back. Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy and I have searched everything I can to try and figure this one out! Thanks so much in advance!
Hi! Thanks so much for tuning in with me. I know exactly what you're talking about and that information has been reported to Lexus and to Apple. When you say "Hey Siri," the other audio doesn't duck out. It can be very annoying. At the moment there is not a fix for this, but Lexus and Apple are working on a resolution. I'm not sure when the update will roll out, but I do know they are working on it. I don't know if it will be an update for Apple CarPlay, iOS or an OTA for the vehicle, or possibly a combination. Definitely do any updates that come through and hopefully it will help sooner rather than later.
Anyone have the volume controls stop working after driving? Mine stop working and i have to push the volume button off snd on to get it to work. Love these videos!!! They are the best.
Hi! Thanks so much for checking in. I have noticed that sometimes after using Siri, my car will keep the Phone's audio selected as the source and it won't jump back to the Radio as the audio source. The same thing can happen if your passenger is using your phone to look at apps on the phone that show videos, like Instagram, Facebook, Amazon, etc. Basically the video interrupts the audio source connection and kicks off the radio and automatically selects the Phone as the audio source. I find that using the Audio Mode button on the steering wheel helps me quickly change sources and get back to the radio. I hope Lexus and Apple will get this worked out. It doesn't happen all the time, but it can be annoying. I hope this makes sense and helps with your experience. Thanks for being here!
Hello and Thanks for the terrific videos. We have owned a 2023 RX for a year and have been trying to figure out how to turn the Text Alert Volume DOWN when Apple Car Play is active.. It is WAY TOO LOUD. !!! Your video indicated the volume control for this is on the iPhone. Is it under Sounds and Haptics? Can you be specific? This volume problem is ruining our new RX experience. We are ready to get rid of this car over this issue. Thanks in advance.
Hi! Glad you're here. If adjusting the volume from the radio dial or the steering wheel is not working for you, then I would reboot your phone, adjust the volume on the side of the phone while Siri is talking and then see if you can adjust it more on the car's volume buttons. Hopefully this will solve it for you.
Thanks for your response. Please let me ask a follow up question which gets to the heart of the matter. When in car play with a connected phone, does the Car control ths received text volume, or does the iPhone control the received text volume. Here is the confusion - when the iPhone is connected in BLUETOOTH mode (Car Play turned off) the car screen has an adjustment slider (Received Text Volume) to control the volume of the received text volume.. Thank you
Hi @@pete21853 There has been quite an evolution with the volume controls and Bluetooth/CarPlay. At this point it seems like each app or audio source has it's own volume, including Siri. And each one can be adjusted, but usually it has to be active to make the adjustment. When Bluetooth only is connected, it is advised to adjust the volume on the phone all the way up first, then adjust more with the volume controls on the car to turn it or or down. When CarPaly is your connection method, it seems to merge the volume controls and they happen on the car rather than on the phone. But keep in mind this can change based on iOS and CarPlay software and even app settings and customizations. I wish I had a clear and easy answer for you, but they change so much so quickly it is a moving target. I hope this will help a bit.
Thank you so much for such an informative video! I believe the answer is no as I have been unable to figure it out, but wanted to have your expert opinion weigh in. Are you able to independently adjust the rear climate fan speed like you can the temperature? I do not see it as an option on my 2024 Lexus RX 350h. Thank you!
Thanks so much! I couldn't agree more about the split screen. I do know this feedback has been given to Lexus and there is a rumor that they may be able to add that with an OTA update. I can't confirm that for sure and I don't know how long it would take it they decide to do it, but a lot of people would be really happy! Stay tuned!
One thing that I did not mention is that taking your Lexus (RX or other) into a Car wash can be quite an experience. The experience could be better if you could tell Lexus to set a car wash mode ! The car wash mode would temporarely disactivate the auto wishield wipers and all of the sensors. A driver with a cardiac condition should think twice about going into a car wash until a car wash mode is available !!!@@NorthsideLexus
@@MichaelPhillips-c7r Car wash mode and "Puppy mode" where you can leave you car on, AC running, music, etc. and lock with the key fob instead of the manual key, are also on the request list. Car wash mode is long over due, in my opinion. There are so many things that would be nice to temporarily mute or turn off. I couldn't agree more!
This is probably my 4th time thru the tutorial. Always learn something I've forgotten ... :-) This time I was hoping to find how to activate the "What would you like to do?" response when using the wake commands. Seems that has disappeared after the last update. Any chance you would know how to turn that back on? Assuming it's just a soft switch that was turned off.
Hi! Sorry for the delay. It did disappear with the most recent OTA and apparently there is not currently a way to turn it back on. All of the other confirmation assistant prompts are still there, but there is no longer a prompt after you press the Talk button or say Hey Lexus. It will just beep and show on screen that the system is listening. Thanks so much for checking in!
I just bought a 2024 RX350. Is there a way to use the Lexus screen at start up? When I turn car on it goes to Android Auto. I prefer the Lexus screen instead. Thank you for all this information. It has been most helpful
Unfortunately there is not a setting for that option. Once a phone is connected for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay that connection preference usually takes over. Have you tried leaving it on the Lexus NAV screen when you turn the car off? To see if it might stay when you turn it back on? A possibility would be to use a Bluetooth only connection, but you would be turning Android Auto off to do that. If you want to try that Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > click on your phone's name > turn on Use for Phone for a Bluetooth only connection.
Thank you for the details video. I have one question concerning the Driving assistance, excess speed notification. If I do not want to be notified, do I have to switch it off every time I start the car?
Hi! No, that setting should remain off if you turn off the Excess Speed Notification. Then you will not have any notifications if you go over the recognized speed limit. :)
Oh, how I miss the simple push buttons, you know, AM, FM, SAT, DISC (no CDs anymore) and AUX. FM gave me FM 1 FM 2 or FM 3, each with 6 presets. Simple, effective and not so damned distracting as to be dangerous
This new radio is very different and takes a lot of getting used to, but I do like that you can easily remove and rearrange favorites now and if you go from one car with Lexus Interface to another, and connect your profile, your radio stations go with you. Even in a Lexus loaner. So once you get it set up it should be easier to deal with moving forward. At least that's the hope. Thanks very much for being here.
First of all thank you so much for the details tutorial. These sessions are very helpful for the new owner. I have a question to ask about the navigation, on my old RX-350 I can marked on the display map frequent place such as "Target", "Home Depot" etc... and make it easy to navigate there later. On the new 2023 RX-350 can you do that too? Would you please help. Thanks. TV.
Hi! Yes, the new system also has navigation favorites and recent searches. You can click the little heart to save a favorite location and you can manage Home, Work and Favorites in your Lexus app. Check this section of the video for more help: 28:27 How to save Home location - Lexus App*. Thanks so much for tuning in with me!
How come my 2024 RX350h only allows me put in 13 gallons of gas? Also, the display only shows 450 mile range. Lexus shows 17.2 gallons, with 600+ range.
Hi! There is usually a 3 - 4 gallon reserve on Lexus vehicles, that is why you aren't able to put the same volume of fuel in the tank, it is not completely empty. Also, the range you are seeing seems normal for the 350h, you may also see it adjust up or down depending on the fuel type, your driving style, cargo weight in the vehicle, tire inflation, even the temperature in your area. I have not ever seen anything with 600+ for the range. Unless maybe on a Plug In Hybrid at the very first calculation. It usually takes a few tanks of fuel for the systems to learn and more accurately calculate the projected range. So early calculations are always higher, because there is not enough data in the system for it to project more accurately yet. Thanks for checking in.
Did you cover the "hey lexus" voice commands anywhere? My dad just got a comparable model and even I wasn't able to help set it up.. it won't make calls or even launch the voice command training. Touching the talk switxh doesn't show any command prompts.. he has to make calls using hey Google which is fine but we shouldn't have to do a work around
Hi. Thanks for checking in. There are two assistants on the vehicle if you have your phone connected for Android Auto you will use the Google Assistant to make calls. This is not a work around, it is a function of Android Auto. If your Dad does not want to use Android Auto then make sure to connect the phone for a Bluetooth only operation. Then he will just have the Lexus assistant and Lexus can make calls for him. I cover this type of connection in the phone section of the video as well so you can see both options. There is not a voice training program to do for the new system. It is a cloud based system that is learning. Thanks again for being here.
Hi! Lexus has moved to just one app that consolidates all of the profile info and connection. It is just called Lexus with a black background and a silver Lexus logo. Any other apps being used are compatible apps for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto like Google Maps or Waze. I hope this helps to answer your question. Thanks for being here.
Thanks for the tutorial . How can I permanently change notification for speed alert. When I change to visual only it comes again to Audible in the next drive . I need each time to go to the settings and change again…
Hi! Sorry for the delay. The customization for the speed notification with Road Sign Assist should stay as you set it, but it is possibly linked to your profile. Make sure your profile is active, make the customization, press "OK" if required, then make sure your key is linked to your profile for better profile recognition and see if that helps to save the customization for you.
I don’t find the automatic set on based region option to work. I drive through Canada and USA a lot and it doesn’t automatically switch back and fourth between mpg and L/100KM. I just change it manually.
Hi! Thanks for letting me know. That is interesting. I wonder if the system in Canada is on a different cloud network and it isn't seeing the region change? Is your Drive Connect subscription active? Does the map change location correctly for you? I would ask your dealership if they have seen this also. Please let me know if you find out more about it.
@@NorthsideLexus So I get a notification every time I enter the States. It’ll say “Welcome to the USA”. Everything seems to be normal, it’s just switching to mpg and vise versa. I will definitely ask my dealer.
Please make sure to consult your Owner's Manual about this. Hybrids can be jumped, but there is a specific process and place to connect. It is not usually recommended to have a hybrid jump another car, but again, I would recommend you speak with a Technician trained on that type of equipment and read that section of the manual for instructions.
Hey Melissa, Does the Active sound Control option only come with the 21 speaker setup? I have the tier just below this and don't see that option. Thanks in advance!
Hi! Active Sound Control is not available on the RX250 or 350h model. At least not in the US, according to the manuals. It is on the RX500h, though. Are you asking about another model? It is usually an FSport feature, but does not come on all models. I hope this helps.
1:48:08 my driving assist notification setting for excess speed is not saving my choice. I’m setting it to visual only and next time I start the vehicle it’s set to visual+audio again. This is the only setting that does not sync. Is this a software bug?
That is definitely strange. When you make the selection, make sure to confirm the selection is saving. Also make sure your key is linked to your profile and that your profile is correctly connecting when you start the car. If that doesn’t resolve it, I would check with your dealer and ask them to open a ticket with Lexus to see if there is something they need to correct or update. Let me know what you find out. Thanks for being here.
This is the most current RX Deep Dive tutorial I have. I hope to make a video with some tips about PHEVs, but I'm not sure when I'll get to do that. Hopefully some of the main RX tutorial will work for you since the majority of the vehicle is the same. Thanks very much for checking in.
Hi, yes, music from a flashdrive, when programmed correctly is possible. The USB ports that support data are usually under the arm rest. Make sure to look for the data icon, not just charging. You also should look in the Owner's Manual for formatting requirements. Keep in mind that the new systems are going toward streaming and mirroring music from the phone and not a flash drive. Also, many flash drives have a very large storage capacity now and the system on the car can not process all of the data quickly so they might timeout. It is better to have your music on a compatible smart phone or MP3 player. Connect with Bluetooth Audio or plug in to one of the data compatible USB ports and for better access to your music content. I hope this helps.
In my 2023 Lexus RX350 Luxury, In Settings > Vehicle Customize > Utility, I don't see the same menu options as shown in your video. I don't see (video time 1:41:05) Active Sound Control, but I do have Start & Stop duration. Start & stop duration gives me 2 options: Standard and Extended. Not sure what this is? Is Active Sound control an extra option that must have been added at factory?....Also, one more question, Can my digital camera rearview mirror come on automatically when my lexus is put into reverse? or do I always have to flip the mirror handle to access digital camera view? thank you!
Hi! Thanks so much for reaching out. Congratulations on your new RX! - The Active Sound Control feature is included on the F-Sport models. It pipes in engine sounds through the vehicle speakers to give a more sporty ride experience. It can not be added as a retrofit. - The Start & Stop duration adjusts the Auto Engine shutoff feature. You can leave that one the standard time if you are keep the Auto Start & Stop feature enabled on your drives. - The digital mirror must be selected manually when you want to use it. It would be great if they add an electronic operation for this in the future. I hope this helps to clarify those items for you. Thanks again for being here!
It seems that the radio interface limits the amount of favorites you can select with the heart symbol. It is telling me if I want to add another favorite I will need to remove one already stored. Is this correct we are limited on the stations we can select as favorites.
Hi! Unfortunately an enclosed parking space like a garage, can not be registered based on the maneuvers it needs to make to align the vehicle for parking. Thanks for checking in!
Hi there, can I ask something about camera? When I shift to drive , the camera not appearing on screen driving slowly, light stop and I didn’t see Letter A on main screen . What do I do now ? Thanks
Hi! The vehicle needs to be in Drive for the auto feature (the Camera icon with the A and the slash mark) to show. Apply the brake, put the RX in Drive, press the View (camera button for the 360 monitor) then you should see the icon with the camera and the A on the lower left hand side. Click on it to remove the slash mark and turn auto mode on for the feature :) Thanks so much for checking in!
I get my new Lexus 2023 RX500h F Sport but Android Auto is not supprted wireless connection. Just USB. So do you know any update for support wireless android auto. I am very pleased if you can give me info
Wireless Android Auto started on the 2023 RX model. If you have a 2023 RX, you should be able to follow the steps to allow that connection type when you set up your profile and pair your phone to the vehicle. Hope this helps.
Hi! I'm happy to try to help. We have so many abbreviations and acronyms. Are you asking about Dynamic Rear Steer? If so it's part of the Lexus Dynamic Handling system. DRS controls the turning angle of the rear wheels, based on vehicle speed and steering angle. Making it easier to steer and maneuver the vehicle under different driving conditions. If you want to get super detailed, here's the very detailed description about the whole system, including DRS, from a Lexus training manual: "Available on certain F SPORT RWD models only, the Lexus Dynamic Handling (LDH) system with Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) and Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) provides target vehicle characteristics in accordance with vehicle speed, allowing the turning angles of the front and rear wheels to be changed arbitrarily in response to the steered angle of the steering wheel. LDH consists of the Variable Gear-Ratio Steering (VGRS) system, which controls the turning angle of the front wheels, and the Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) system, which controls the turning angle of the rear wheels. LDH integrates and controls the VGRS, DRS and Electric Power Steering (EPS) systems in order to achieve superior vehicle stability and reaction performance in response to the driver’s intention. The system controls the turning angles of the front and rear wheels in accordance with the steered angle of the steering wheel and the vehicle speed to achieve target vehicle characteristics. The LDH system drives the steering actuator assembly in the VGRS system and the rear steering link assembly in the DRS system in accordance with the steered angle of the steering wheel and the vehicle speed; thus controlling vehicle slip angle and yaw rate to achieve target vehicle characteristics. Control of the rear wheels’ turning angle by the DRS system is calculated by the front steering control ECU and actuated by the driving of a DC motor in the rear steering link assembly (via the rear steering control ECU). In the low speed range, yaw rate characteristics are set high to achieve reduction of the driver’s steering efforts and to shorten the turning radius; vehicle slip characteristics in the low speed range have been optimized. In the medium speed range, yaw rate characteristics are set high to ensure superior turning performance and a steering feel appropriate to the driver’s intention. In the high speed range, the vehicle slip angle characteristics of the target vehicle characteristics are set to “0”; in addition, vehicle slip angle changing characteristics are set high in order to achieve a level of stability and vehicle motion performance that suits driver intentions.."
Hi! Settings > Vehicle Customize > Utility > ACC Customize set to Off That will allows the radio and screen "accessories" to operate even with the vehicle is off. 😊
Hi! The RXs with Rear Climate controls are for temperature and sometimes seat climate, but they do not seem to include a fan speed adjustment. That used to be available with the RX-L version, but I have not seen it continued on the newer RX. Thanks so much for checking in.
Hi. It is still technically possible, but a lot of people tell me they have challenges with the newer larger capacity flash drives. Even when you set the music files up according to the instructions in the NAV/Multimedia Owners' Manual, if the drive is too large, it can time out before the system is able to process the full library of music files. The car's system is definitely designed more for streaming music from a phone's music library or from an audio app on the phone. If you want to give the USB music a try, I would get a smaller flash drive and make sure to follow the formatting exactly as it is in the manual for the best luck with it. Thanks for checking in.
Hello i have heated and ventilated seats. When I turn on AC even at full speed my seats don't blow out air. I also have the fan for seats at maximum level .Does it need to be on a certain setting? Or is the air just not rhat powerful? The heat I feel but not the AC ventilated seats.
Hi. If you have the seat fan turned up to three and you don't feel the air coming through the perforated seats, I would have your Lexus Service team check it for you. Thanks so much for checking in.
IS there a way to disable the seatbelt chime - when I'm working on site I'm in and out of the car - not on highways or roads and it's a hassle to keep buckling and unbuckling but the chime is super annoying
Hi! You would need to check with your Lexus Service Department to see if they are able to do that. Since it is a safety feature they may not be able to turn it off. Thanks for checking in.
Hi. I would recommend speaking with your Lexus Service department to see what can be disabled. The Technicians would have access to this level of the equipment. Thanks for checking in.
RUclips is not compatible in the same way with the new system. You could try to connect the audio source to your phone through a Bluetooth only connection and disable Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Then see if the arrow buttons operate the audio content from the app like it did for you on your previous vehicle. Thanks for checking in.
Hi. The airbags are always “ready,” but when the PCS determines there could be a collision they are able to respond even more quickly if there is an impact that requires an air bag to deploy. It’s one of many advancements in airbag technology and the systems that operate them. Glad to have you here.
I have a 2024 350RXH. When I first got the car, the volume of whatever I was listening to would decrease substantially when Siri announced a text or I asked Siri to do something. Suddenly that disappeared and I’ve spent the last 2 months trying to figure out how to get it back. Any suggestions?
Hi! Apple has changed the ducking behaviors of Siri. And it seems like Siri will talk over just about anything now. A lot of us do not like it and have sent feedback to Apple. Hopefully they will make improvements for the next iOS update. For now, I usually turn the radio off, then activate Siri so I only have one audio item happening at one time. I hope this helps, until Apple can get it updated for us. Thanks for checking in.
Hi! Here's a great resource for the Lexus Dashcam. www.lexus.com/My-Lexus/resources/dashcam I haven't made any videos for it, but make sure you get the correct app or it will not connect to your phone. It's called the Lexus Integrated Dashcam. It has digital manuals and even a troubleshooting guide right in the app. Look in the My Tools section by clicking on the Profile "person" icon on the bottom right hand corner of the app in phone screen. 👍
You should get an award from Lexus for the deep dive videos! I am waiting for my new RX to be delivered and now I have an idea of where to start. I will be playing you video many times to set up everything.
You are so sweet! I’m very glad you’re enjoying the Deeps Dives! Congratulations on your RX! 🥳 I’m happy to be able to help you learn all about it!
This is incredibly helpful! I am brand new to Lexus and the RX, so this is invaluable. Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your new RX! I'm so excited for you and thrilled to help you learn all about it! Thanks very much for tuning in with me.
Thanks so much for your compliments! I really appreciate it!
Can we just appreciate the time and effort that was put in to make this video?
Thank you so much for all of your support! That means the world to me!
Absolutely Amazing, better than reading. This is a movie manual. Totally recommended and thank you for taking the time, and I understand why dealer don’t have the time to explain everything, too much to go into.
You're very welcome! Thanks so much for your kind comment and support! So glad to have you tuning in!
RX500 here........ Turn off driver monitor alert is probably the best part of this video. Mine was going off nearly every time I drove....... while my head was looking forward. I always keep the other alerts on.
Thanks for making these videos!
Thanks for sharing. I'm so glad the tip was helpful for you! Thanks for being here!
A great job to make these videos! They are absolutely fantastic! Thank you very much for all this work!
Thank you so much! I'm very glad you like them! :)
That is awesome! Congratulations on your new RX! Thanks so much for tuning in to learn with me! 👍 I'm so glad your here!
As a Lexus technician this video presentation is ❤ Excellent ! description of features in a proper format ! This video is a must have for reference.
I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Thanks very much for your support!
I pick up my 2023 RX 500h F-Sport on Tuesday and just got through parts 1 and 2 of this series. So helpful and I can't wait to get behind the wheel!
Awesome! Thank you for tuning in to learn with me! Congratulations on your new 2023 RX 500h F-Sport!
Just brought my new baby home today and this has been an incredible help! Thank you for such an in depth, comprehensive video! Saving to my favorites for future references🥰
So nice of you! Thanks very much for tuning in! Congrats on your new RX!
Melissa is absolutely phenomenal she is one in a million. Great asset to Northside Lexus
Thank you so much for always being so supportive! Happy New Year to you!
Wonderful videos Melissa. Taking delivery of our first RX next week. Your information is explained so well. I am sure we will be referring to it many times over the next few weeks. Thank you! 🇨🇦
That's awesome! Congratulations on your new RX! I'm very glad to get to help you learn all about it! Enjoy and thanks very much for tuning in with me!
Thanks. Your video is so much clearer than the 1,000 pages of manuals that come with the car. I'm not overwhelmed by all the gadgets any more!
Glad you liked it! Thank you so much 😀
Excellent!!!!! Best way to learn all the features of a new 2023 or 2024 Lexus RX. Love it. Great job....
Awesome! Thanks so much for tuning in to learn with me! 👍 I'm so glad your here! Congrats on your new RX!
Melissa, I watched part 1 and part 2 - this was incredibly helpful to better understand all of the available features in addition to my technology specialist when I picked up by RX. Great job showing the differences on different RX models and h compared to F-sport too.
Thanks so much for your support! I'm so glad the videos have been helpful for you!
You’re genius!! Thank you so much!! I’m heading back to autozone to return the relay lol.
Yay! That's great to hear!
Hey Ray, Congrats on the RX👍. Which one did you get, the hybrid? How's the power and the sound from the 4 cylinder?
EXCELLENT Video, thank you very much! Will the Lexus navigation give traffic conditions and traffic alerts without a hotsport / WiFi?
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks very much for tuning in to learn with me!
Saw both tutorials and it helped me a lot in deciding to get an RX! Great videos, Thank you!
That is great to hear! Congratulations on your new RX! I'm so glad to get to help you learn all about it!
Fantastic deep dive
Thank you again! I really appreciate your comments and am so glad you are enjoying the videos!
Great detailed instructional video. This helped me more than going through the owner's manual......which I will still review. Loved the Advanced parking section! Thanks!!
Great to hear! Thank you so much for your support and for tuning in to learn with me!
You do an excellent job.......it is so helpful. You are a very talented instructor. Thank you for doing this.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your support! So glad to have you here with me :)
Good afternoon, Love your informative videos. Will you be doing a 'deep dive' into the 2025 RX 350h? Thank you.
Eventually, I would like to update the deep dive. Especially since we have the new customizable multi-information display on the dash. I'm not sure how long it will take me so you may want to check this out in the meantime:
For 2025 the RX has received a new Customizable 12.3” Multi-Information Display. Enjoy this tutorial from the introduction of that feature: ruclips.net/video/H5lbHZAmDSs/видео.html
Thanks for being here!
@@NorthsideLexus Perfect. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I’m a big fan of yours. Shout out from Cambodia.
Thanks so much for tuning in with me! I really appreciate all of your support!
Excellent tutorial, I am disappointed that we no longer have in car Navi and stuck with Lexus connect subscription for basic navigation.
Excellent tutorial! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks very much for being here!
Many thanks for providing these videos. Fabulous job!!!
I appreciate the kind words and support! Thanks for being here!
"Link to Profile Setup" in description links to private youtube video. Maybe you know that already. Thanks for all your work.
Thank you SO much for telling me! I just fixed it. 🙏
Amazing video. Very helpful and informative
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for the great info! Are you able to screen mirror from phone? Or add a RUclips app from the screen?
I have 2 follow up questions if you don't mind:
1, is it possible to customize the shortcut menu? I'd like to add settings that I frequently change
2, related to #1 - I live in the EU, and the crazy regulations here force cars manuf. 2023 and later to reset driver alert and excess speed notifications. I have to go into the menu and toggle these off each time I start the car : (
the car makes multiple and constant beeps when driving slightly above speed limit it reads, and it doesn't always get the right speed limit due to various conditions
@@NorthsideLexus thank you so much for the insights! I'll definitely try to customize the buttons on the steering wheel!!
Very informative videos for both part 1 & 2. Thank you
So nice of you! Thanks for tuning in with me! 👍
New owner of 2023 RX350, I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this Lexus!
YAY!!! Congratulations!!!
Can we wallpaper the display screen instead of white screen?
Here's what is states in the Owner's Manual:
"When recording is approved, the system records images of the area around the driver in certain crash or near crash-like situations, such as an SRS airbag being deployed or the vehicle hitting an object on the road." So it is only recording under certain potential crash conditions.
Then you just say, "Hey Lexus, get directions to Work." Or "Hey Lexus, go home." 28:27 How to save Home location - Lexus App*
2. Most of the recalculations are done automatically now. You can reset Trip A or Trip B with the ODO/Trip button: This is from Part 1 of the Depp Dive, it may help: 50:27 Odometer/Trip Meter
Thanks again for tuning in!
Very informative. Thank you!!
I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Thanks so much for tuning in with me!
Do the following:
PRECONDTION: You have to save your SiriusXM channels as favorites from the Music screen PRIOR to doing this work-around.
Fantastic job! Thank you!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for tuning in with me!
Very helpful videos; great job!!
Thanks so much for your support!🤗
i am waitinfg for my rx500h, feel like i need to study how to maneuver the new features as well
Hopefully this will help make the wait go by faster for you. Thanks so much for tuning in with me! 👍
RXs not compatible for the hitch are:
1) TOW HITCH Cannot be installed on CBU vehicles.
Very helpful and simple to follow.❤
I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Thanks so much for tuning in with me!
Wonderful videos
I’m just have RX350h/2023
How I can turn off the Radio ( not pause ) Thanks
Thank you!
Hi! Unfortunately the fan speed is not independently adjustable for the back seats. Thanks so much for checking in though.
Very well done video. It is unfortunate that such a large screen cannot be split in order to have two functions displayed at the same time !
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you for confirming. And thanks for the vids.
@@NorthsideLexus Many Thanks for the reply and for the great deep dive tutorial. 👍Greetings from Luxembourg 🙂
@@giovannidemichele7958 Hello to you in Luxembourg! 👋
Thanks again for being here.
which app are you using in this video?
Can I use my 2024 Rx350 hybrid to jumpstart a conventional vehicle and vice versa?
Please make sure to consult your Owner's Manual about this. Hybrids can be jumped, but there is a specific process and place to connect. It is not usually recommended to have a hybrid jump another car, but again, I would recommend you speak with a Technician trained on that type of equipment and read that section of the manual for instructions.
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you for your response. Big thanks for the tutorials. Great job.
@@NorthsideLexus thank you, I have the RX 350h so this makes sense!
I RECENTLY BOUGHT A RX 450H+ AWD AND IS SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT.
IT WOULD BE HELPFUL A TUTORING VIDEO.
This is the most current RX Deep Dive tutorial I have. I hope to make a video with some tips about PHEVs, but I'm not sure when I'll get to do that. Hopefully some of the main RX tutorial will work for you since the majority of the vehicle is the same. Thanks very much for checking in.
Is there anyway we can use the USB type A port for music by connecting a USB stick. I have an RX 350h ultra luxury package. (2023)
Thnx
Thanks for checking. You can have 20 favorites in the new radio system. Hope this helps 👍
Can home garage be registered in Advanced Park? I am having trouble with the system identifying a spot.
Hi! Unfortunately an enclosed parking space like a garage, can not be registered based on the maneuvers it needs to make to align the vehicle for parking. Thanks for checking in!
This is a question I had as well. Thanks !

Hello. Any info on DRS like how it works?
If you want to get super detailed, here's the very detailed description about the whole system, including DRS, from a Lexus training manual:
"Available on certain F SPORT RWD models only, the Lexus Dynamic Handling (LDH) system with Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) and Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) provides target vehicle characteristics in accordance with vehicle speed, allowing the turning angles of the front and rear wheels to be changed arbitrarily in response to the steered angle of the steering wheel.
How to keep the radio playing til open the door
Hi! Settings > Vehicle Customize > Utility > ACC Customize set to Off That will allows the radio and screen "accessories" to operate even with the vehicle is off. 😊
can I adjust the rear fan speed independently ?
Hi! The RXs with Rear Climate controls are for temperature and sometimes seat climate, but they do not seem to include a fan speed adjustment. That used to be available with the RX-L version, but I have not seen it continued on the newer RX. Thanks so much for checking in.
Does the new RX have route tracing in the NAV ssytem. Don't see the option for it.
Hi, Kevin. Route Trace did not carry over to the new Lexus Interface system. So sorry about that. Thanks for tuning in with me!
Thanks for the info!
Can you no longer use an USB to stream music in 2024?
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you so much!
Question: How can I scroll favorites in Music? Seems like we should be able to and all I see is a "seek" feature which is sort of useless. Help!!
Hi! Use the left and right arrows for the audio system on the steering wheel. They will scroll you from favorite to favorite on your list :)
Hi, how to disable the Access System with Electronic Key?
Hi. I would recommend speaking with your Lexus Service department to see what can be disabled. The Technicians would have access to this level of the equipment. Thanks for checking in.
How many stations on FM, AM or cirrus can you save?
Lexus Interface gives you 20 total favorite stations. You can save them in any combination, but 20 is the max.
How can i control to play next youtube videos from the buttons? I used this feature in 2021Rx350 but unable to find it in 2024• please help
1:00:16 "Prime the airbags", This sounds weird, the airbags are always ready...?
Hi. The airbags are always “ready,” but when the PCS determines there could be a collision they are able to respond even more quickly if there is an impact that requires an air bag to deploy. It’s one of many advancements in airbag technology and the systems that operate them. Glad to have you here.
@@NorthsideLexus Very interesting, thanks for the great detail in your videos
This is a video manual my lexus should have come with
Thanks so much for your support! So glad to have you here!
hello/ what about Lexus dashcam/ I need it/ I will order my Lexus soon
