That’s soo cute she gets her new shell and peels off her lil buddy’s and brings them along with her lol
I love symbiosis. It’s like finding a friendly player in a survival video game and working together to survive. It’s just crazy that this amount of trust between creatures can be found in actual wild/ocean
I'm procrastinating so hard.
are you still procrastinating?
noooooooooooooooooooooooo also i had to do this for a school assignment lol @Merker Truck

MrPanda legend has it, he is still procrastinating to this day
I saw a rather cute video about the shrimp and the gobbi's relationship. the shrimp has a long antenna that it uses to keep in constant contact with the gobbyi. One time a little altercation happened between the gobbi another gobbi and the shrimp lost contact with it and ended up far from their hole. Shrimp have very poor eyesight so it didnt know where it was or how to get back to their hole. Within a couple mins the gobbi noticed it was having trouble finding its way back to the hole so it swam over and grabbed the poor lost little shrimp and brought it back home!! lol I thought it was rather sweet, cuz the shrimps are afraid when they are out of their hole as thats when something will eat it!
thank you for letting me see the undersea world
The hermit crab is like danger everywhere while his pulling the anemone XD
Fascinating! I love the shrimp that held the fish's home clean and tidy.
The hermit crab moving the anemones was incredible. Thanks for posting 👍🦀🦀

Really veri nice footage keep it top.
super video
Amazing footage of the hermit crab. How could you find one that had to move to a new shell? Was it shot in an aquarium or in the ocean?
It was shot in the ocean. We presented hermit crabs with a new shell. It took over 50 tries on 30 dives to finally find one that was interested.
Very informative and educative Jonathan Bird. I find it very interesting. And also I must say that I love your narration too Jonathan Bird

Aawww, i love the story of the hermit crab and the anemones. There's an attachment in those two. While me never had any of those relationship in real life... i need symbiosis too....
I will be glad to watch hours and hours of videos on symbiotic relationship, if you are narrateing them.
honestly the shrimp on the sea star in the list of shrimp and animal symbiosis makes me think the sea star's shrimp looks like a rat kind of
You just finished my homework in biology. Thanks
Thank you for the video, it's really interesting.
I think if you add some few written discribtions.. it would be more attractive & caught more attention.
Thank you so much.
I am so impressed by this. This man deserves attention. Hi is so good at films
Wow!!!!!
This was great, just seeing how creatures cooperate wi & tolerate each other... What did I say??? One fish's poo is another fish's treasure!!! Oh & remoras??? It can be cool having friends who nip a parasite off you now & then, but yeah, we know they hang around because we're big, tough & eat anybody who could eat them!!! Sharky xxx

Hi Jonathan! In Oslob, Cebu City in the Philippines, there's a feeding ground for about a dozen or more whale sharks. Although I do think it's pretty weird that they're there almost all year round. That's what I've been told at least. They're all very dear to the locals though and each one of them have been named. Anyway! I love your content and I want to be certified very soon! Keep doin what you're doin!
+Aya Tortellini We are looking at going there.
Video: Newdabranks, shrimp, size of your hand...

Do you think you'll do a full episode on parasites?
when you said the fish moves when the shrimp let's go. what does it move to do?
The shrimp is most likely a pistol shrimp
never knew marine sci was so interesting
Hey Jonathan, what's the fish called at the end on the barracuda? I recently had two on and with me freediving on a reef. They wouldn't get away from me anymore :D
