  • Beau took a liking this board straight away. The Go Surf is just super easy to surf, doing everything you want it to. The vee underneath the board makes it easy to transition from rail to rail when turning, the nose rocker helps for those later takeoffs and the outline shape plus flat deck gives this board a lot of stability. As a bonus, it nose rides extremely well. It feels just like a bigger longboard design and can be ridden by riders who weigh under 95kg.
This board is best suited for beginners getting into SUP surfing because it is just so easy to learn and progress with. However, intermediate riders would easily enjoy riding this and it is a board that you will for a long time as you can progress with it.

I was super excited when I saw this board in their line and your review confirms what I had hoped - they nailed the design.
I would buy one in a heartbeat as its also short enough to travel with (airline limits are typically 9'8") and know I can just paddle around, surf sml to medium waves and have fun in just about any conditions. I own their 10x29 longboard which is awesome but this new model will have broader appeal and range than their pro longboard range.

Hi Chris. Thanks for comment and your thoughts about the Go Surf. We really enjoyed the board and can see it appealing to so many people. Love your comment about airline travel - perfect board for it. Thanks, Beau

I would be interested in your thoughts comparing the performance of the Go Surf to a 9'2" Wedge

Oooh that would be a fun video. From experience, the Wedge is going to turn better and be more performance in the waves. Simply because of the reduced length and the design elements that make the rails thinner. The Go feels more like a longboard that you can ride the nose and cruise into turns. Hope that helps. Thanks, Beau
