I'm quite convinced that carrying a severed head around is a good indicator of dubious character.

I’ve never played it so I’m pretty excited to see what comes out. I love the lore. I’ve been looking at playing sixth edition and I’ve also recently picked up the Mordheim box set, so if it isn’t what we want we can always just play those.

      Indeed
I don't really get why they will have to bother about base size changes if they just re release pretty much the same game. All difference it will make is that they will have to rewrite a lot of points etc and upset many old-timers.
I suppose there has to be something more in there otherwise, like you say, why would we not just play the old stuff :)

I'm in the same boat, interested to see what happens but I certainly fell off the hype train after that lackluster reveal. They claim to have written the rules and play testing them so one would think they'd have something with a bit of substance to show....
    Pretty disappointed.

I've come to realize that it probably wasnt meant to set of the hype train but to soften people up a bit by planting a small seed. They just underestimated how many people were already soft. Like me who they already prepped some 20+ years ago :)
But you are totally right. If, as they say, there is no scale creep they should be able to give some sort of hint about why they believe that everyone will switch bases if the game is just a re-release?!

@@honestminis9530 I won't switch bases, I do not trust them, I'm happy to use movement trays with spacers if need be.
The bigger base thing is coming about because they are using some kits from AoS so they need to be on bigger bases(chaos warriors, saurus). I think we all knew this was coming.
I'm kinda sitting on 8-9 armies and this game was going to determine whether I was going to hold onto them as future projects or part with them.
At this rate I will give up on it and just stick to 6th / 7th edition where I know they can't fuck it up.
