I have heard Denso altenators don't need to be grounded .Is that true? Also the Altenator I had,( Delco) has a ground terminal. If the Denso altenator needs to be grounded, should I put the ground cable on the bracket bolt?
i grounded with 1/0 to the mounting location on your powder coated unit but i dont have a rear bracket delete and im reading 14.8/14.9 on my dmm, i couldnt use the little baby lug you guys put on it due clearance issues between alternator and block, is their another way to ground the rear of the case better?
Ok...got it. So you never said where the other side of the ground is to be connected. Chassis? Battery Neg? Frame? Just helping others get clarification.
Pumped about my 370 the shipping label was created should be here this week!!!!
Did u ever get it
Grounding alternator to direct to negatif batery?

Can you add a terminal to case bolt of alternator
Can't wait to hook my new alt up from you guys so I can finally give a great review on the website!
NICE INFO!!! Mine's just came in! I'll doing unboxing video soon as I get some off time!
@FATHER'S OF BASS YES SIR!
Is the ground to go directly to the battery terminal or is it to go to the frame?
Directly to the battery terminal will get the best result
What do you mean by "proper ground"? Do connect the ground to the negative battery terminal?
Any alternators for a 1998 camry 2.2L ?
U didn't explain where to attach the ground to your alternator. Mine is from the alt case to the frame. That should be sufficient right?
Hey how do you connect to that ground though
Do you ground it to the battery or the frame?
How much voltage drop should you expect from cold to hot?
Little to none

also the lug is very little how will it help with the amps if you can only use a 8g? im not no pro so these are all question to clarify
What is the safest gauge wire size for the ground wire? Thank you
I've heard him say 8 gage, but it really depends on how much current you're trying to pull. The bigger the better.
