You have made one hell of a product! My harness is working beautifully after ordering a longer harness. When the bass hits and the voltage drops all I have to do is turn it up to get maximum amperage from my amplifier. Thank you for all your help
Can you please tell me exactly where the ignition wire goes I found one video where they literally ran the ignition wire to the key ignition of the steering column does it have to go there or can I do a fuse tap to any remote turn on source
@@SlamryCamry19 I just so happen to have an inverter in my middle console that runs straight to my starter solenoid in my 89 bronco so that’s the same ignition source that I used
Got my autotech 240 and VCM installed yesterday and it works like a dream i couldn't be happier with the product you guys have went above and beyond on the product I was genuinely impressed that it worked as well as it does i was expecting a voltage sag from the PCM but I don't have any of that it's actually working with 0 issues thank you autotech for putting me in the game
Mines doesn’t do that. What happens is, the voltage keeps climbing to 16+ if I don’t unplug the box. Can’t seem to control the voltage like you have here in the video
I purchased a new "competition series" 400a alternator along with the voltage control module and installed as the video showed and l am unable to adjust the voltage. The vehicle is a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali 6.0 L. Thanks!
Depends on vehicle.... i turn mine on with the lamp pin, and then use the DFM(M) pin to report to my ECU... so i dont get any check engine or battery light.... all goood... but it depends on the vehicle
@autotechengineering2505 I'll be calling Monday. I need a dual alternator setup for a 2010 Cadillac escalade 6.2 L. Charging a 120ah Plannano LTO bank.
Hahahah. Keep telling your yourself that. We build for more vehicle makes and models. They don't even make their own controller, they sell someone else's.
@Brian Yost XS Power! I have (2) D3400 in my 2011 silverado with a sundown salt 3k, pushing (2) Skar VXF 12's at 1 ohm. Gain and crossover set with a cc1, and a dd1. I know what I'm doing. All connected with 1/0 ofc, to a mechman 340 alt, with the rvc bypass. I never go below 14.5
@@MrSpike0358 did you just name off a bunch of crap and then try to claim you know what you're doing lol lol.. first off if you knew what you were doing you wouldn't be buying an xs power you would just be building your own. Then you go on to say you have a sundown 3K lol what is this 1990 what are you going to do with the 3K lol 🤣 lol

Just got my 320 for my 95 blazer today and ordering one of these soon !
THIS IS AN AWESOME PRODUCT!
How do you wire multiple alternators with a relay?
Mine works great love it

Having the same problem
What’s the criteria for vehicle availability? Like is it application dependent or universal?
Voltage regulator specific

Did you ever figure it out
AutotechEngineering for the win #CUSTARD310
So if I’m running 2 alts do i just splice into both wire harnesses or just one harness ?
On the instruction it says to hook up the sense pin to the alternator positive could you please tell me how to do that
Thanks
What is the purpose of using the voltage regulator device
Will it throw a battery light?

@CL-yp1bs nobody understands this bro
Is there a point in time that you will offer blue LED instead of read ?
Cost for blue led raises our cost so we will not be offering at this time
Will this work with a 240 gm mechman alternator 4 pin
If has sense pin , yes
Does it reset to the preset voltage every time car is started?
No
@@autotechengineeringusa so if it's set at 15.5 it will stay there when the car is shut off and started back up?
Do you make these for two pin I have a 1977 deville with 240 alternator and if so can you send me a link to order thanks
Your 2 pin has to have sense
Looked at it alternator has 3 pin but the connector has two wire yellow and red and it does have a sense the red wire
