Rewrite is basically just sonic, not really demonic or anything, no bloody eyes or missing pupils or missing limbs, or mis-colored, but you just know there is something off about him when you first see him even though you don't know what is wrong with him
I like how you expect another normal .exe character to show up, the melody of green hill builds up. just to fall back down into a slow paced and eerie theme, face to face with an entity that only wants to steal your entire body. and when you think you won, the song doesnt end, fading back into a 2D part where YOU play as rewrite, showing he took boyfriend. also if you listen closely in the 2D segment, im pretty sure you can still hear a bit of BF's vocals mixed with the other .exe characters

No one’s talking about the beginning It seems like that rewrite wasn’t planning on singing and was just going with it and bf was making it sound like an actual song but then rewrite got bored of it and was planning on just taking his soul but the magic rules of a rapbattle stopped him for only a few seconds until he proved that he is stronger then all the other exes purely by just hurting bf out of turn and not in song. And with the second part Bf doesn’t seem to actually know what’s going on because he’s dumb as rocks so is just making beats as rewritten is threatening him and the player No clue what’s happening in the final part
I feel like the second part wasn't BF himself, but the Player speaking back to Rewrite through BF in a way since the scene seems to want to take a more intimate approach.

I checked the funkipedia wiki and the stomping part of rewrite sonic's part of the song is actually him breaking the invisible barrier to get boyfriend. Rewrite Sonic is also one of the only fnf characters to actually kill boyfriend in which its not the retry screen thingy, bf seriously just dies.

Also at the end, I think it hints to him being the exe's all in one within the remade universe. (Lord X, Exetior, Majin, within Rewrite, the husk, the hollow shell of what could've been sonic.) Edit: (Also I think Rewrite himself is part of it, not just being a husk.)

this is probably one of the only sonic exes i can stand, minus Curse. though, this one is my favorite. he just…looks off. i hate it, it’s uncanny. it’s sonic, sure. but…something clearly isn’t right with him. so much of a better design than classic sonic. exe. making it gorey and bloody can only get you so far. make something that STICKS. Rewrite STICKS because he isn’t bloody or covered in gore, but because he looks wrong. it’s amazing.

Well yeah rewrite is so powerful that he broke the magical rules of bfs rap battles, first he managed to move out of place without it being a singing animation, and then second he broke the rule of attacking bf without it being a mechanic so it did actually hurt him instead of taking down his health. Not even xeno or lordx was able to do that (In cases like vs impostor there actually playing among us so it’s a mechanic in that game)

Alr, Speedrun on what people probably don't understand. *Rewrite is basically all of the Exes, everytime you boot up his "game" he rewrite's himself to get into your mind easier, or something like that, like, What you WANT to see, hence why Majin, Sonic.EXE, and Lord X exsist. He's Rewriting himself to them because he is technically them."* *he stomps his foot on the ground because he's either trying to find the spot for him to "walk" out of the platform, Or the barrier (Rap Logic Barrier) that blocks those that either aren't a part of the song, or those who try to move closer to boyfriend that isn't a mechanic, and he struggles against it, but eventually breaks it, and gets through it, Then, he probably taunts the player and boyfriend, because he steps out, stops, then continues, while tilting his head.* *the part when he looks like a literal god, hovering over you, is when he takes you to "his world" or something, and those 3 rings symbolize the main EXE group (Majin isn't a EXE but he's put into that group because reasons.) Well yeah rewrite is so powerful that he broke the magical rules of bfs rap battles, first he managed to move out of place without it being a singing animation, and then second he broke the rule of attacking bf without it being a mechanic so it did actually hurt him instead of taking down his health. Not even xeno or lordx was able to do that
(In cases like vs impostor there actually playing among us so it’s a mechanic in that game)

*Rewrite is basically all of the Exes, everytime you boot up his "game" he rewrite's himself to get into your mind easier, or something like that, like, What you WANT to see, hence why Majin, Sonic.EXE, and Lord X exsist.
