I’m really glad to here you plan to make your Bolt Action series a comprehensive guide. Enjoyed the video as always! I don’t have a ton of experience with Bolt Action, but in the matches I have played the Bazooka has been enough to make an opponent think very hard on how to deploy their tank on the battlefield.
Thanks for the video. Having only played one game of BA, I appreciate this type of info. Helps make me think more creatively when building a list. But definitely hiking a bazooka in a jeep to dump them and pound a tank in the flank is a bit cheese, but I can see the merits
Most late war German vehicles sort of have a slight counter to these shape charged weapons with the Schurzen side skirts as they negate the +1 side pen with these types. I have 2 vehicles equipped with them my Stug III Ausf G/ StuH 42 and my just completed Brummbar.
Hey man absolutely love the content as always, I just had a question tho: have you ever considered doing a video on late war vs early war? Like just comparing the 2 and how they play and of they're much different
Soft AT counter in my books are the Stuart. I always run zooks as vets and its gonna be hard to kill due to small team and able to hide anywhere without compromising being too exposed. Also if you’re looking for a transport zooks, i think taking the bazooka jeep is a better idea. Although its fragile. Zipping around with a bazooka jeep and getting behind a heavy or medium tank is gonna get your opponent covered in sweats of fear. Also not forgetting two dice for an AT attack instead of one because double zook on a jeep.
Hello! Just wanted to let you know that the Chindit models from the giveaway arrived safe and sound a couple of days ago. Again, thanks! Keep up the good work!
Everyone is Bazooka this, Panzerschreck that, while I'm sitting all alone, holding my PIAT...which is a 12'' range bazooka for 40pts regular. Nice vids, but yeah- it's always the team in a cheap transport to rush and suicide the armour, else your team gets picked apart fomr acorss the table by arty, sniper, the tank, MMG or a squad or two focus firing on them.
Is there any chance you could do a Romanian army review. They have rules for fighting as the axis and allies. I think for both sides they have some of the best army rules in the game.
I'm new to BA, so please excuse my ignorance. How is the bazooka team a one shot weapon? Are you saying that it can only fire one shot for the whole game or that it will probably get eliminated after the first shot? Thank you.
Yes as I got a Panther and 1250 is what I usually take as my point buy in, in most of my games. They have all the benefits of a Tiger I, and about a 50 points savings on experience points buy in. I mean you can take a pintle mounted MG, and have Tiger fear like the Tiger the only thing the Tiger I has over the Panther is a DV of 10 on the front and sides while the Panther only has a 10 to it's front.

Yes I should have brought up Schürzen during the shaped charge part, good point.

Well the armored Jeep is its own beast. Certainly a viable weapon that covers some of the Zooks shortcomings.

*laughs in Macethrower*
I just fired a bazooka at +2 cover Japanese regulars. It did the job, squads are moving forward now lol

@@jrad123 indeed I've always found it weird considering Romania had a severe shortage of tanks and artillery during the war.

one shot per attack
Should I play a panther in a 1250 point game?
Yeah it’s not a bad option. Just make sure you get enough dice in your list.
