I'm unworthy of such praise after being absent for so long. My BA videos get more views than my Legion videos, so I knew I had to get back to you guys.
We would love to see your Bolt Action models it would be so much better than a static image. Just a pan or rotating table with your panzerfaust or panzershrek little figures.
I started getting into bolt action at the beginning of this year and only had one chance to play before lockdown. Since then, I’ve been collecting, building and creating army lists. I can absolutely see the relative value of the fausts being able to hide in a unit and have more utility. I am currently thinking of running a vet squad with a few fausts in a transport to be able to drive to where I need them. I haven’t tried it, but that’s what I was thinking. As always, love your videos as a new BA player. Always want more!
Love your bolt action videos. Do you think you would ever do battle reports? I think you could offer a unique insight into your plays and strategy. I am a soviet player and I love late war lists, so I end up taking the zis-3 and a spread of Schrecks in a mix of guard and vet squads with smgs in tracked trucks. So many times I get an early kill on the points heavy enemy tank by overwhelming it with faust shots.
A little bit of both might not be a bad idea. You have an AT slot in a standard platoon, might as well use it. The Schreck is basically a reusable Faust with better range. Give a Faust to any squad that can take one in case the Schreck can't fire on a tank or misses it. I'm sure American armies with Bazookas don't lament the lack of a disposable option.
I have a ton of panzerfaust in my late war Waffen SS Army never fired one yet ... feels like a lot of points spent for nothing. The last game was the first I saw an Allied Hellcat. My Tiger took it out in one shot that was it. It sure seems like I do not need that much AT capability in my game. Maybe when my opponent starts bringing Shermans and M8s and M3 transports ... I will see the point. I do have a Panzershreck team as well. I also have a GrB-39 granade launcher and a Sturmpistole and a Hanomag with Panzerbüchse 41 with the Sturmpioneers/Heer Pioneers those are also AT capabilities built into the infantry squad ... never tried them but they might provide a lighter cheaper option against tanks and armoured targets.
Well, if you have a Tiger in your list you may not need a whole lot of Fausts. It's certainly a balancing act. But at just 5 points per model and 4 shots when you decide to strike, I've seen them do some VERY nasty things.
@@HollywoodWargaming you are right I would rather bring a Flakvierling I love how it chops up infantry and then protect it with my own infantry that has pz.fausts ... but this game I had to bring the Tiger my friend was painting and weathering that Hellcat for a week it looks amazing he was planning to take out my Tiger with it ... too bad it went for the Hanomag :))) lived only that turn the next shot was the Tiger and no Recce could save him the Tiger shoots to 84" ...
Having a panzerfaust(s) in an infantry unit can definitely scare of armoured car etc which might threaten them. So don't always need to be fired to do their job.
The king has returned. This is by far the best BA channel out there. I was worried we'd lost you to Star Wars for good.

Great! Your videos actually brought me into the hobby! I'm now building British 8th army and USMC. :)
Awesome to hear! Brit 8th has some fantastic variety and models to it.

As a new player (got into BA in lockdown so yet to play a game) these videos are very informative and helpful. Thanks for putting them on YT.
The Panzer Zest Truppen are good because you can field 2 Schreks in the one unit.
You missed the REAL best part of the panzerfaust: What else are you going to do with those last ~15 points on your list?
Schreck is love schreck is life.

Panzerfaust seems a no brainer. 5pts for the potential of killing a tank, otherwise infantry are almost powerless to stop tanks.
