    Thanks for the review on the challenger elite, This gun is amazing!
    You can open the back of the gun and slide in three to four AEA approved washers in front of the hammer spring, increasing your foot pounds of energy by 60 FPE.

      I learn a new trick every day. 😊
      I will give that a try. Where do j find out what the AEA approved washer size is?

    You do an amazing job holding that bullseye. Are you competing in any events?

      I finished tie for 6th place at NAC Sportsman 100-yard class this year. I will compete in Pyramyd Cup and EBR later this year. :-)
      I've sent you a couple of emails with no response. Can you email me when you get a chance at mike@backyardairguns.com? I have something for your AEA rifles I want to send you!

    Just think, they got one with the power valve as well. I got the .457 and it's pushing 600fpe with 6 shots last one being 450fpe.

      I have not seen the power valve on these. What model is that on?

    Good evening, I would like to know if it is necessary to dry the bottle when moving the regulator pressure

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      For the Elite the manual does not say to empty the air before decreasing the reg. I have decreased and increased the reg without emptying the tank many times with no issue.

    my question was incomplete, I want to know the ballistic coefficient that you used for the NSA 110 grain ?

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      I can not set the BC for any ammunition. The BC is mostly set by the bullet shape, weight, and speed. The BC measures how effectively the bullet slips through the air. The NSA website shows that the BC for NSA 110g Slugs is .130.

    How many shots per fill with reg at 190 bar with the 110 grain slugs?

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  5 месяцев назад +2

      Look at my response to your last question. I would shoot 10 shots and then top off the tank. The video footage of the 110g NSA was when the rifle was tethered.

    I'm not sure whether to buy the Commander NV400 4-52X50 4K or Zulus HD 5-20x Digital DAY/NIGHT VISION, I wanted your opinion

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      Vicente, To be transparent, I have no knowledge on the Arken Zulus HD 5-20x scope. I did look up the spec on that scope and it does not compete with the NV400 on specs.
      Zulus is HD and NV400 is true 4K and records at 120 fps
      Zulus is 20X zoom and NV400 is 52X
      NV400 has both 1st AND 2nd focal plane
      NV400 has built in Ballistic Calculator built into scope
      NV400 will output the scope image to HDMI
      I could list many other features on the NV400; I have at least 5 videos out (and more coming) on this scope.
      One more big thing... OneLeaf has a huge Father's Day sale from now until June 23rd. The OneLeaf NV 400 was $549 and is now $424 with free shipping. Below is my affiliate link for this scope. If you do decide to buy this scope, it would help the channel if you use the link below. Thanks, Mike

    Hello, I intend to buy this pcp, but I need your help in informing me of the real diameter of the nsa 110 grain slug. This measurement with a micrometer would be important because a friend will manufacture the press

      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      It's a great rifle and crazy powerful. The NSA 110g slugs are 9.11 MM.

    Hi, what ballistic coefficient did you use?

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      I asked Benjamin the same question on these pellets and they said the BC is .277. That seems really high to me, but they do shoot very well and nothing penetrates more than the Benjamin Ballistic Tip 145g pellet/slug.

    hi can you by the AEA challenger elite over the counter with no licence in the us? great vid

  • @donwilson350
    @donwilson350 Месяц назад

    You know for that going to be regulated you ought to have been at least getting over 300 ft lb of energy out of that gun

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      I don't agree with your statement on 300+ fpe out of the Challenger Elite. The AEA users manual for the 357 cal states up to 250 fpe. I was getting 270+ with the reg set at 190 to 200 bar. For me, this was the sweet spot for the rifle to shoot accurately at 100 yard and still punch through 16 ga plate steel at 50 yards. Maybe I could max out the reg and get 300 fpe, but that was not my intent. Thanks for watching!

    • @donwilson350
      @donwilson350 Месяц назад

      Well what i ment by that was if you're going to big game hunt You need foot-pounds. I've got a Benjamin bulldog i got modified? I get three hundred and twenty five foot pounds out of it with a 180 grain Bullet I think it will do the job i was thinking for a Regulated gun you should get more

    • @backyardairguns
      @backyardairguns  Месяц назад

      I agree that any rifle doing 300+ fpe will take down most Big game. I've seen the Benjamin Bulldog in videos and they look crazy powerful. Good luck on your hunts.
