    Loved this video. The editing was art in itself. I know what you mean about the tilting being your least favorite part. The paint is so thick that it is fairly tedious and slow. Did you thin your base paint somewhere along the way in the video? It appeared to flow much faster in the latter part of the video. Again, I enjoyed the video and thank you so much for sharing. You had some beautiful results. I especially loved the one with the green that was not the vivid bright green. That combination was stunning!

    • @SaskiaSmitArt
      @SaskiaSmitArt  5 лет назад +2

      Linda Zeiters thank you❣️
      Yes I think I did thin it but forgot to write it down.
      I filmed this some time ago.
      But I noticed the same thing looking back.
      I still do not have the right consistency for everything but I will get there😊

    what is the the difference between pigments and paint? how do you choose to use?

    • @SaskiaSmitArt
      @SaskiaSmitArt  4 года назад +1

      The piments are very rich in color and have often mineral mica in it.
      Some are colourshift, some are for example blue with green metallic in it etc. I do not want every color to be glittery or shine so I use both paint and pigments.

    Hi, ik vind je resultaten prachtig, maar het blijft tweaken. En soms werkt het helemaal even niet meer. Blijf experimenteren. Voor mijn succesvolle blooms (naast de meerderheid van niet succesvolle 😉) heb ik een opbouw als Griekse yoghurt als pillow, de kleuren vermengd met 50 %Tri-art en 50% lijm als koude honing en de CA vloeibaar als water...en ik gebruik heel weinig CA, even blazen en als de blaasjes opkomen dan weet je dat het goed is. Gek genoeg werkt het met titaanwit wel goed, maar weer niet met zwart, dus ik blijf ook nog experimenteren 😙

      Saskia Smit yes I saw a Tammy had the white with just water and very thin consistency ( I think ) but Fiona had other stuff with her white but fairly certain that her “cell activator “ was fairly thin too, I think she also had floetrol in her white....not 100% certain though ....to me looking in comparison your white was a lot thicker, but then you are unable to get all the products needed which makes it a lot harder for you trialling to get the results. I am amazed that all the products everyone used overseas is so different to the products in Australia.....I would never have thought there would be so much difference......lots of time and money to figure it out, but you have done some stunning pieces !! I doubt that I will worry attempting this method I don’t think I have the patience to try so many things to get it to work ....kudos to you and all the others that had persevered !!💙💙💙💜💜💜💚💚💚xox
